  1. Looking for a decent shared hosting that offers separate Cpanel for each domain(unlimited)
  2. Long ago(around 18 years) I had a shared hosting that gave a separate cpanel for each domain hosted. They also offered unlimited domains.

  17. I ditched it because I wanted private nameservers I shifted to Hostgator.
  18.
  19. Been there ever since. Its been 18 years and now I really don't need reseller hosting. I recommend my clients to get hosting themselves from siteground or rackspace.
  20.
  21. I am paying a lot for hostgator reseller.
  22.
  23. I thought of looking for shared hosting but i wanted the option of seperate cpanel because I still have some 4 static websites of my 18 year old clients and I wanted to keep their accounts separate.
  24.
  25. So is there any shared hosting company that is reliable that offers this.
  26.
  27. If not any cheap reseller with unlimited domains that is a good alternative to Hostgator but offers free migration. I have only 4 website but I have 40 domains hosted. I just don't want to go through the hassles of checking each domain if its worth migrating. I would rather have the hosting company migrate all 40 for free.
  28.
  29. Also if it has private nameservers. Also recommend any other alternative that meets my needs that is cheaper than Hostgator aluminium reseller which is 29.99 dollars.
  30.
  31. Thanks
  32.
  33. Have you thought of reseller account? Such accounts comes with WHM and that allows to create separated Cpanel accounts. Also you can have VPS and install there WHM and then create as many as needed Cpanel accounts.
  34. The major price making part is Cpanel or WHM licenses, so if you own then unmanaged VPS could be the cheapest option.
  35.
  36. It should be a Reseller account with the appropriate level of cPanel/WHM.
  37.
  38. The only way to get separate cPanel accounts is to have a hosting that offers WHM to create cPanel accounts. If you install cPanel on a VPS/dedi, you will have WHM. But those are beyond your budget.
  39.
  40. If you go for a reseller hosting, you will have WHM. Or, you can go for 4 separate shared hosting accounts with a single provider. This will only allow you to change the passwords and log into those cPanel accounts from your billing account.
  41.
  42. But in the end, you might want to go for a reseller account considering you have enough budget and it should give you more than enough headroom for future growth, if needed.
  43.
  44. You may try just contacting some hungry hosts that will work with you and offer you a packed deal for the separate hosting accounts and private name servers. I don't think out of the box you will find a host that offers this on their website. So contacting a host, start in the shared hosting section here and take a look at the offers you may just ask them right there by replying to their offer thread. See if that is something their are willing to do for you. I can bet you will find one that will do this for you.
  45.
  46. You should stick with Reseller Hosting, however not with Hostgator. The first thing is the price and the second thing is the their track record. You will first need to see how much resources your Reseller Hosting is using, and search on here for a Reseller provider that could meet your requirements. I don't think you should be paying $30/Mo for Reseller Hosting when a quick look on here will get you providers half or 1/3rd the costing.
  47.
  48. You're not going to find a shared option that has separate cPanel accounts, unfortunately.
  49. You're best bet would be staying with a reseller hosting account.
  50. I would check the Reseller Hosting Offers section on here and then search around for reviews for the ones that stand out to you.
  51.
  52. Your best bet would be a reseller. However some companies my offer you an affiliate scheme so you could earn money on the referrals which may be beneficial for you.

  55. That’s the first time I hear of a shared account allowing something like that (and it’s been over a decade since I started “dabbling” with hosting)....no shared account today has that feature, that’s for sure; your only option to get separate cPanel for every domain is a reseller account, there’s no way around it or shortcut.
  56. As for HostGator/EIG alternatives, there are plenty; you can get a decently specced package from many reliable providers for nearly half the price you’re paying at HostGator, without needing promos or discount offers.

  60. There used to be one hosting company. I even had an account on it for a short while. There was another one that I was planing to shift to that was some number it had in it.
  61.
  62. Thank you ALL for the replies. Yes I understand I have to go in for a reseller.
  63.
  64. Any personal recommendations for reseller that is 20GB of space and cheaper than Hostgator 29.99$.
  65.
  66. I checked the re-seller section there are names in there I have never heard of before and I have been out of touch with the hosting market. So please help
  67.
  68. I believe that Plesk used to create a separate linux user for each domain hosted. I haven't looked at Plesk in years, not sure if this is still how the system works. If yes, finding a shared hosting account with Plesk might be what you need.

  77. As others have said, a reseller is your best and most cheapest option. When looking at providers, because you've been out of the hosting market for a few years I would do a bit of background research yourself, look at reviews, and even sent hosts questions that you may have.

  81. I don't have time to do research thats why I posted here hoping to find some recommendations to at least narrow down my options. Right now I have not idea who are the best.
  82. It seems the ranking of those so called top hosts have not changed in 10 years. It is still the same bluehost, hostgator etc etc except for 2 new names I see in there.

  87. The "top" hosts are mostly paid to be there, I would highly suggest not to follow those.
