  1. The 56e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne was founded on July 30th, 2017 by the merge of two well-established regiments, with the purpose of creating a strong Czechoslovak regiment. Today it is considered the oldest, largest and - as far as the competitive scene is concerned - the best CZ/SK regiment; all of this thanks to the countless combined years of experience amongst the regimental staff.
  2. The regiment consists of several detachments; the first detachment is that of the line infantry. In this company you will discover the implementation of displined lines, formed shoulder-to-shoulder, and tense battles in these tight formations. You will be constantly re-adjusting formations, firing in a coordinated manner and then the combat will conclude with a grand bayonet charge. The line infantry currently consists of two main fusilier companies, and one recruit company.
  3. The next detachment in line is the light infantry. In the company of these seasoned men you will come to discover the feeling of fast advances, the constant suspense of battle and will fire in loose formations. The regiment currently has one such detachment.
  4. There are currently plans to create a detachment of artillery.
  5. During events it is required of members to show the utmost discipline, and a readiness to give their all for the good of the regiment. This does not, however, diminish the everpresent quality of camaraderie, helpfulness and all-round positive atmosphere found within the regiment. We are not strictly confined to the Napoleonic era, in-fact you will find us regularly participating in other mods - the American or Roman Civil War, for example.
  6. The leader of the regiment is currently Colonel Salakien. This man has great experience within Warband itself and maintains in the regiment a high standard of discpline and order. You can also equally rely on our other officers, all of a similar calibre and experience; they will readily assist you with whatever you may require. The regiment will soon add its own Friday event to its already much-varied schedule - one where all the detachments of the 56e will proudly fight side-by-side and lead their team to victory.
  7. The regiment, however, does not fall behind - even in the competitive scene. We have participated in numerous tournament such as the EIC - European Infantry Cup, RGT - Regimental Groupfighting Tournament, and most recently, the Visegrad Group Infrantry Cup.
