  1. If Trump does end up resigning, either by being forced to resign a la Nixon, or because he just gives up because he wants to go hang out at Mar a Lago, you can guarantee he is going to light a match and toss it on the ground on his way out.
  2.
  3. No Nixonian "...it has become evident to me that I no longer have a strong enough political base in the Congress to justify continuing that effort."

  7. Nope. He's going to rant and rail about how unfairly he's been treated--by Democrats, by establishment Republicans, and especially the press. He's going to insist that his resignation is the result of relentless attacks by the fake media and the deep state--both enemies of the people. He's going to tell his rabid base that their president has been stolen from them. It's much harder than just bellowing insults in a boardroom. He's a flop. He sees that. And it's killing him. It's driving him mad. And because his M.O. is to always counter-punch, to dish out payback, to get revenge--he will leave on his terms, which are:
  10.
  11. Never back down. Never admit to any mistake. Make the other guy suffer exponentially more than you. Even when you lose, declare victory.
  12.
  13. He's going to make America suffer for insufficient fealty. And it's gonna suck.
