AGDQ2017

AGDQ 2017 thoughts:

As everyone else I was really nervous to go, since I didn't know anyone personally besides Moni. When I confirmed hotel and registration there were some times I wanted to cancel everything and not go. I'm really glad I did.
Long story short:
I'm a little sad that I didn't spend time with the people I thought I was going to. Expectations were there that shouldn't have been honestly. I still had lots of fun whenever I hung with you guys. I also feel like I spent a lot of my time in my room, I had a headache one day and a hangover the other (eyes) and I wish I didn't. I felt really distant from everyone, but i don't really know if that's how everyone felt in their first GDQ. I also feel like that is part of my fault for not getting more involved, because honestly I'm socially different in person than I am online. I will try to be more social, I guess, next GDQ I go to (which will hopefully be SGDQ '17). I also hope my friendship among you grows bigger as time goes by and I can feel like we've been friends for years.

But... I'm also really happy I went. My passion for streaming and speedrunning grew so much the first day I arrived. Watching the SMS race showed me how fun and big this community is. I'm really happy I got to meet all of you, you're all very very special to me and I couldn't be happier for the friends I made these past months and those who I will become friends with in the future. I love you all and I hope I can go to SGDQ and hang out WAY more that what I did <3

PS: Those of you who were there for me on Thursday, I fucking love you. It means a lot to me and I showed me you're good people. You know who you are.
