- Welp, here goes nothing.
- Before I get into it, Let me just say that I am writing this story in 3nd person.
- >Red hot embers smolder on the ground.
- >A building stands tall, engulfed in dark pillars of smoke and flames.
- >An Intense amount of heat emanates from it’s walls, harshly welcoming anyone who dares to enter.
- >”Let’s go! come on!” the Chief shouts before diving into a column of smoke.
- >3 others, including anon, follow closely behind.
- >the blaze continuously roars, drowning out the stomping of boots.
- >This once elegant little apartment is reducing itself to nothing more than ash.
- >Heavy clouds of darkness hang around the 4 man battalion.
- >Apart from the dim glow of fire, the surrounding area was completely obscured.
- >Radio chatter sounded off near anon’s ear
- >teams reporting their locations, or calling up EMTs to “fire up the grill,” as one had said.
- >Anon silently chuckles at the, somewhat ironic, joke.
- >”Anon! Henstein! You’re up!” The Chief yells, motioning to the door before him.
- >Henstein, the towering giant, walks up to the door, axe in hand.
- >Henstein pulls the axe back and proceeds to burst through the door with little effort, sending pieces of wood flying.
- >The two of them get on the floor and slowly enter the colorless room.
- >”Fire Department!” Anon cries out, but only gets a reply from the crackling flames.
- >Anon and Henstein feel their way through the entire room, leaving no crevice unchecked.
- ”Room’s clear!” Anon calls out.
- >”Got it,” The Chief sounds out, quickly placing a shimmering yellow flag near the door.
- >The group scampers out of the room and onto the next.
- >The floorboards creak in protest as the unit rushes to it’s next objective.

- >Swiftly, the group checks what seemed like countless number of rooms, with little to no intervention
- >”You’d think we would have found someone by now” The chief chimes in
- >”But there is not a soul.”
- >The gang makes it to the last door of their current hallway.
- >The smoke grows thicker by the second.
- >Thick effort to start seeping through the filters.
- >The taste of burnt wood and metal hits Anon in the mouth, but it does not deter him from his duty.
- >With two swings of his axe, anon breaks the door, just enough to swing it open.
- >Globs of darkness pour from the room, further hindering any vision.
- >With each step that Henstein and Anon take, the heat intensifies.
- >A dull glow can be spotted across the room
- >’What is that?’ Anon questions himself
- >”FIRE DEPARTMENT!” Henstein bellows, the expression rumbling through anon’s chest.
- ”Got a wall over here,” Anon exclaims.
- >The pair transverse the room, eventually reaching that mysterious glow.
- >At this point, Anon was close enough to make out it’s shape.
- >Anon stared into the square of light, before realizing the object.
- ”A laptop!” Anon enthusiastically exclaimed.
- >”Great! Now we can unlock the door to the boss!” Henstein sneered.
- >’but why would anyone leave a laptop behind’ Anon thought.
- >Anon tried to make out what was on the screen, but it was covered in layers of haze.
- >Regaining focus, Anon turned to continue his search, but was immediately halted by a pair of boots.
- >He and Henstein followed the boots up to the wearer's body, staring at the towering figure that loomed of them.
- >A deep, yet crackled voice emerged from the shadow.
- >”Option 1 or Option 2?”

- >Dumbfounded, Anon lets out a confused “um.”
- >”Sir, are you alright?” Henstein asks, reaching for him, but the figure slides away.
- ”Um, hey Chief! I think we got one!” Anon calls out, springing back from the confusion.
- >The figure’s back was tall enough to reach the roof, forcing it to hunch over.
- >It’s choice of attire? A trench coat.
- >One that was as devoid of any color whatsoever, as if looking into a void of sorrow and depression.
- >”What’s his status?” The Chief questioned.
- >Anon turned to Henstein, and Henstein to the figure.
- >”Sir, I’ll ask again; are you o-”
- >”Option 1 or Option 2? Do hurry, we don’t have much time.”
- “He needs a lot of help.”
- >“On it.” The Chief pulls his radio to his face “we got a survivor over here and……”
- >The figure wore a fedora as dark as it’s coat, with a single stripe of silver going around.
- >”I already made a transaction today, and I am more willing to make anotheeer; choose.”
- >The crackling of fire increasingly grew in noise, as if it was in desperate need of attention.
- >Henstein’s face twisted in frustration, as he tried to size up the fedora wearer.
- >”Listen here, we’ll play whatever sick game you’re playing, but we got to get out here first!”
- >Trench opened his mouth, but the sound was not his.
- >It was a horn; a horn that might as well be played by satan himself.
- >The horn blared 3 times before the team’s radios came to life.
- >”ATTENTION ALL UNITS; EVACUATE THE BUILD IMMEDIATELY. STRUCTURAL DAMAGE DETECTED.”

- >The radio, and the room, fell silent
- >”ANON, HENSTEIN, GET THAT FUCKER AND LETS JET!” The Chief anxiously yelled.
- >The ceiling starts to crumble and crack.
- >Anon and Henstein lunge at Trench coat, but it manages to escape their grasps.
- >”Option 1 or 2?”
- >”Y-YE- YES, YEA.” Anon stampers.
- >The cracking becomes audible.
- >”OPTION 2!” Both simultaneously scream.
- >Trench gives a sinister smile, one that is capable of piercing through the thickest of smoke.
- >Pieces of rubble start to fall from the deteriorating ceiling.
- >Trench opens up his coat, revealing a seemingly never ending void with in.
- >It shuffles it’s arm around in the coat, pulling out a large duffle bag from thin air.
- >”Here we are” Trench chuckled, throwing the weighted bag at anon.
- >The force of the bag causes Anon to stumble backwards.
- >The roof started to rain down on the 3 of them.
- >”Don’t let anyone, other than the 2 of you, see what’s inside.” It hissed.
- > With it’s final words, the ceiling caved in, flooding the room with dust, support beams and rubble.
- >It all came raining down on trench, easily crushing him like a bug.
- >”ANON! HENSTEIN!” The Chief shouted out.
- >Anon could not help but stare at where trench once stood, clutching the bag with all his might.
- >“We’re fine!” Henstein assured.
- >”Come on buddy,” Pulling Anon to his feet, “let’s get the fuck out of here.”
- >The two of them tackled through the smoke, regrouping with the 2 others.
- >Anon’s limbs felt limp.
- >His vision was blurred (not like he could see clearly anyways).
- >A ringing paraded around in his ear.
- >He could hear Chief talking, but the sound was incomprehensible and muffled.
- >Before Anon knew it, he felt the blinding light of the sun, pummel his eyes.
- >The ringing slowly subsided, as he felt the contents of the bag stir.

- >Blue sky.
- >The clouds danced in the air, swaying around, forming a variety of shapes.
- >It was always there, the sky, but there was something off about it.
- >Something had changed, and it wasn’t the smoke that occupied half of the view.
- >A quiet whisper emerged from the back of Anon’s mind:
- >’there's something in the bag.’
- >He nervously looks around, trying to regain all his bearings.
- >EMTs and Paramedics rushed around in a blurred haze, tending to the wounds of the survivors.
- >Flocks of people surrounded the blazing building, pointing, shouting, recording.
- >Cries of sadness filled the air, as residents watched their home crumble.
- >Anon frantically turned, in hopes of spotting what had changed
- >”You alright there Anon?” Bellowed a voice.
- >Anon spun around faster than a top, and came face to face with the muscular body that was henstein.
- >”You seem a little out of it.”
- >'there's something in the bag.'
- ”Yea, I am fine,” sighed Anon.
- ”I just can't stop thinking about that guy..... Have they found his body yet?”
- >”Well, the fire hasn't really gone down much; might be a while till they do the second sweep.”
- >Anon and Henstein stared at the imaginary void that lay upon the ground.
- >”But hey, at least there is one less creep in the world, right?” he chuckled
- >'there's something in the bag.'
- >Henstein's attempt at humor went straight over Anon, causing Henstein to scrunch his face up a bit.
- >”Hey Anon, you're grabbing that bag pretty tight...”
- >'there's something in the bag'
- >”what's in it anyways?”
- >'there's something in the bag'
- >Anon looked up at the smoldering building, watching the smoke become less dense.
- >Anon was mesmerized by the steadily rising smoke, nearly disregarding Henstein's presence.
- >In his dazed stupor, Anon simply replied with closest words around.
- ”There's something... In the bag.”

- >Anon's eyes widen after catching the statement.
- >His face jumped to Henstein's, who's confusion was now visible.
- > Anon's voice became much sharper and quicker.
- ”There's somethin in the bag!”
- >”Yea, kinda what was asking; I take it that you haven't looked?”
- ”No.” Anon swiftly replyed.
- ”I should do that.” Placing the bag on the ground.
- >But as rapid as he placed the bag, he brought it back up, cradling it slightly.
- ”No, can't.” He eyed the crowds of people.
- ”Not here at least.”
- >”What? What are you talking about?” Henstein questioned, trying to spot the same imaginary danger.
- ”That thin- that man, said not to let anyone one but us see what's inside.”
- >Henstein was now flustered. ”Are you serious Anon?”
- >”That guy was fucked up the head!”
- ”We need to find some place safe.” Anon's grip tightened.
- >”You're really going to listen to the guy?!”
- >Silence fell between the two, but the world around them kept shouting.
- >”Give me the bag Anon” Henstein calmly pleaded, extending his arms toward the bag.
- ”What? NO!” Anon snapped, trying to dodge Henstein's grasps.
- >But it was in vain, for Henstein already got a hold of the bag, and was pulling.
- >”Give me, the bag!”
- >The pair go back and forth, fighting over the bag as if it were made of gold.
- >At this rate, Anon knew this was a fight he would lose, especially against Henstein.
- >So he did what any other anon would do.
- ”Let. Go. Of. The. Bag!” Exhaling sharply at the end, Anon swung his leg forward, planting it straight on Henstein's nether regions.
- >Henstein, letting out an audible ”hhhrrrmpp,” flinched ever so slightly, but it was enough for Anon to make his escape.
- >”Where are you going Anon!” Henstein shouted, panting between words.
- >Anon made no effort in looking back, running as if he just committed murder.
- >”That was a cheap shot, you know that, Anon?” Henstein’s fading voice chimed in.

- >Anon’s head was clouded, and buzzing, desperately trying to piece everything together.
- >”Where to, my friend?” A russian man drawled.
- >Anon spoke as best he could, but the words came out in slurs.
- >To Anon’s surprise, the scenery started to move.
- > The driver shifted in his seat, trying to shake off Anon's strange vibe.
- >”So did ya hear about that riot in that prison? Many dead, and one missing. It so crazy, because I actually meet the guy. He-...”
- >The driver droned on
- >Anon’s head was too busy trying to figure out what was in the dull, green bag next to him.
- >The urge to open it and revievel it’s forbidden contents was great.

- >Anon sighed in relief, knowing that he would not be questioned about the bag, or get strange looks.
- “Almost there.” He spoke, comforting the bag.
- >Anon raced up the stairs, making his way to his door, second floor.
- >Anon picks up a brisk pace, bag on shoulder, keys jingling in hand.
- >Suddenly, the door parallel to his starts to creep open.
- ‘shit shit shit shit shit’
- >A young, luminous woman steps into the hallway, back towards Anon as she closes the door.
- >Her raven, silk-like hair glowed in the dim-lit corridor.
- >She turns, unknowingly facing Anon.
- >Her face lights up with a smile when she sees Anon.
- >”Hey, Anon!” She squeaked. “You sure are home early; you alright?”
- >Her voice chimed with concern on the last part.
- >There wasn’t any defining curves on this petite lady, but something about her made Anon inflamed with desire.
- >’God she is so hot.’
- >’there’s something in the bag.’
- >”You seem a bit, spacey” She chirped, motion her hands around her head, on the word “spacey.”
- >Anon flashes a smile.
- “Yea...yea, I’m fine. I just had a long, weird day.”
- >The bag’s contents move slightly at the end.
- >Anon positions himself to where he is obstructing the bag’s view from her.
- “But, I would do it hundred times if it meant I could talk to you.” His smile widens.
- >’Dayum Anon, you smooth ass motherfucker.’
- >The women’s eyes glimmer with light, as her face softens a bit.

- >Usually, Anon would stay near the doorway, taking in the sight; but this time was different.
- >The bedroom door swung open, as he rushed inside, his large bed silently greeting him.
- >But instead of his usual self, he threw the bag onto the mattress.

- ‘Just open it’
- >The wind whistled softly outside.

- >The silence was threaded through the air, and anon took one last look outside.
- >The Sky was painted red, as well with an assortment of other colors...even blue.
- >Anon, with slight hesitation, lifted the flap upward, revealing the contents that lay inside.
- >A white body occupied the space.
- >Apart from the occasional raising and falling of the chest, the creature looked motionless.
- >It had voluminous, violet hair protruding from it’s head, and what seemed to be a rump.
- >And it wore 3 shimmery, blue diamonds on said rump.
- >Anon silently analyzed the pony, trying to make sense of it all.
- >Right before releasing the understatement of his year:
- “What the fuck?”

- >Its shimmery coat broke up in several matted areas.
- >These spots were usually accompanied by a bruise or two.
- “What is this thi- Is this a pony?”
- >Anon shifted to get a better view of the mare, glancing at its horn.
- “WAIT, It’s a unicorn?!” combing his hands through his hair.
- “No.” Anon protesting, studying the protrusion carefully.
- “The top looks…..weird” He exclaimed, eyeing the jagged top.
- >Anon paced around the bed, never taking his eyes off the unicorn.
- “Is this real?”
- >Anon carefully reached out to touch the pony's mane, not knowing if it would lash back.
- “So...soft,” He cooed.
- >The pony fidgeted in place, causing Anon to spring back.
- >But Anon miscalculated the jump, tripping over the chair behind him.
- >His back slammed against the floor, eliciting a massive “THUD.”
- >The mare’s eyes fling open, adjusting themselves to the low-lit conditions.
- >With great caution, the unicorn rose up, simultaneously studying her surroundings.
- >Anon was rolling on the floor, holding his back as if were to fall off.
- >He jerks his head up, locking eyes with the white horse.

- >’Son of a bitch.’
- >”IT’S RUINED!” She allows herself to collapse, curling up as tight as she can.

- >Didn't title the first post.
- >Dubs get.
- >Anon jolted upward, forcefully gasping for air.
- >He sat on the floor, surveying the immediate area.
- >Sweat skurried down his chin, dripping onto his chest.
- >His vision blurred as a drum like pounding over-took the entirety of his face.
- >The mare stood in front of him, noticeable concerned, but she just appeared as a white blur to Anon.
- >”Thank heavens, you’re awake!”
- >Anon brought his hands to his face, attempting to soothe the pain.
- >”I didn’t know what to do, or if I should of called for help; and then you started tossing and turning an-
- >Anon out stretched his hand, gesturing for silence.
- >A side from the eye gouging pain, Anon’s mind was surprisingly less cluttered.
- >He fidgeted around, trying to get one foot on the ground.
- >”Here, let me help you” The pony instantly drew closer.
- “Don’t worry, I got it” Anon assured, lifting himself upward.
- >He towered over the small mare, looking straight down at her.
- >Rarity’s heart skipped a beat, preparing to dash out incase Anon attempted anything.
- “Huh, so this is what Henstein must feel like.” Anon quietly muttered.
- >”I beg your pardon?”
- “Oh, nothing. It’s...nothing……….. Um, I’m Anon.”
- >He shot his hand out attempting to greet his guest.
- >But the motion caused Rarity to flinch slightly.
- >”...well, I’m Rarity; very nice to meet you Anon.” She exclaimed, gently placing her hoof in Anon’s hand.
- >’God damn, her hoof is angel soft’
- >The white mare loudly cleared the passage of her throat.
- >”Formal greetings aside, if you could be so kind as to point me in the direction of Ponyville, I would forever be in your debt.”
- “...errr….”

- >”My Sister and Friends must be worried sick over my sudden disappearance, and it is in utmost importance that I get there as soon as possible!”
- Anon hesitated “I’ve never even heard of ‘ponyville.’”
- >Rarity stared blankly into Anon’s eyes before regaining her composure.
- >”Oh, well that’s not a problem; surely you know of Canterlot?”
- >Anon looked around the corners of his eyes before initiating a slow shake of the head.
- >”E-Equestria, you’ve heard of Equestria of course?” Traces of concern tag along her voice.
- “No…” Anon admitted.

- >”No? NO? What do you mean 'no' ?!” Shock preceded her voice.
- > Anon lifted up from the bed, staggering towards the doorway.
- >”Wh-Where are you going?”
- >She tailed Anon like a lost puppy.
- ”Getting ice for my face.”
- >Anon digged through his freezer, extracting the frozen liquid into a baggy.
- “Look…”
- >He sealed the bag, placing firmly on his face.
- “I don’t really know who you are, what you are, or where you even came from-”
- >”Likewise” Rarity rebuttled.
- >Anon casted a firm glare before continuing.
- “But, I’ll tell you everything I know.”
- >The White horse attentively eyed Anon, capturing every word from his mouth.
- “I was on duty -volunteer firefighter by the way- and….”
- >Anon looked at the ground, trying to recall those seemingly ancient memories.
- “There was this man, an impossibly tall man, darker than death.”
- >Bells rang across Rarity’s mind.
- >Anon glanced up at mare.
- >A puzzled frown plastered upon her face.
- “He had you in that bag, and….he gave it to me; why me, I don’t really know.”
- >Rarity shut her eye, composing all the information that had been given.
- >”I-I saw it as well, the man; it was just a glimpse, and it happened so fast, I could hardly process it.”
- >” ‘Darker than death...’ “ She mimicked.
- >”I’ve heard of slimming blacks, but his figure was ridiculous!” the mare lightly chuckled.
- >It was possibly the lamest joke Anon had heard, but he couldn’t stop the smile that overtook his face.
- >Silence caressed them, as they studied each other’s form(s).
- >A damp grumble pierced through the air.
- >Rarity’s cheek flowered a deep red, while Anon let out a hearty giggle.
- “I take it that you’re hungry.” Anon beamed
- >The mare slumped her head down slightly, retaining a light smirk.
- >”*ahem* food would be appreciated, thank you.”

- >Anon flung the fridge door open, the cool air eagerly rushing to the floor.
- ’that went a whole lot better than expected’ he thought, scouring through the packets of vegetables.
- >
- >Rarity stood in the living rooming, head and body turning as she caught sight of every detail.
- >It was a quaint, little room; big enough for many, but small enough for one.
- >A couple of couches and one wide coffee table, occupied the room’s center.
- “Hey, you only eat fruits and veggies, right?” Anon shouted.
- >”There’s no greater food, my dear” -’did you just call him dear?’-
- >Anon scoffs to the claim, and Rarity responds with a silent eyeroll.
- >The largest couch stood out the most
- >Its threading was much more intricate than the others.
- >Patterns flowed from one corner to the other.
- >The seams appeared as natural as they were outspoken.
- >The couch stood in a vibrant glow, persuading the viewer to rest upon it.
- “Here ya go.” Anon placed a plate of salad before her.
- >Rarity looked up, locking her dazzling eyes with his.
- >”Thank you, Anon.” sincerity traveling through her words.
- “It’s nothing; we’ve both had a long day.” he slumped down into the chair beside him.
- “Besides, it’s the least I can do for you.” he assured, flashing a smile.
- ‘Why are you helping this thing?’
- >”I don’t think I can thank you enough.”
- >The mare turned to her plate, eyeing the green leaves in-front of her.
- ‘It could have killed you!’

- >”You’re an omnivore, aren’t you Anon?” Her gaze was unmoving.
- “Huh?”
- >”The way you scoffed at my expression, it sounded as if you preferred another choice: meat. Yet, you’re eating the same meal as I.”
- >She turned to Anon, waiting for a reply.
- “Or, I’m fattening you up for my next meal.” He winked.
- >Rarity blushed slightly before quickly turned back to the salad.
- ‘God damn it Anon, you misunderstood, sexual deviant...wait, am I the devian-’
- >”You know,” The mare’s mouth straightened “My friends and I used to pick random restaurants each week, and just dine at them. I, for the most part, enjoyed the elegant ones, but it didn’t really matter; as long as I was was with them, everything was perfect.”
- >Tears formed at the rims of her eyes, transversing the side of her face.
- “Rarity…”
- >The mare jumped a tad bit at the sound of her name, directing all present attention to Anon.
- “Don’t worry; we’re going to find out how to get you back home, I promise.”
- ‘Don’t make empty promises Anon.’
- >Rarity nodded her head, wiping tears away from her forehooves.
- >The soft skinned mare faced her plate once more, this time (sans the use of magic) digging into the salad, and chunking the leafy greens into her mouth.
- >”Not bad, for a savage meat eater. Not bad at all” She winked.
- >The remainder of the meal was spent in wordless smiles, and gestures.

- >Rarity elicited a yawn as Anon picked up their empty plates.
- >She gently slumped over the side of the couch.
- “Whoa, whoa whoa, you’re not sleeping there.”
- >”I’m not not?” She squeaked.
- “Of course not! I can’t do that to a guest; you’re sleeping in my bed.”
- ‘Jeez, might as well adopt her.’
- The small mare fell back to the couch.
- >”I can’t do that to you, Anon. You should sleep as you *yawn* normally do.”
- “I don’t mind it.”
- >Rarity studied the bulky man.
- >”You’re as good as they come, anon; luckily, so am I.” She stood up, stretching her hind legs over the couch.
- >The mare trotted her way through the bedroom before disappearing.
- >It was finally time to get some restful sleep.
- >But sleep did not come to them quickly.
- >It was anxiety that washed over Anon, as he pondered of the consequences in voiding his “contract.”
- >And it was with doubt that said “contract” even existed.
- >Melancholy took hold of Rarity, as she tossed and turned into the late hours of the night.
- >was it truly possible, that she was stuck here?
- >She shakes it off as an impossibility, but the thought won’t stop gnawing at her.
- >Regardless, the two eventually find their centers, and drift away.
- >For a short while, there are no worries.
