  7. Welp, here goes nothing.
  8. Before I get into it, Let me just say that I am writing this story in 3nd person.
  9.
  10. >Red hot embers smolder on the ground.
  11. >A building stands tall, engulfed in dark pillars of smoke and flames.
  12. >An Intense amount of heat emanates from it’s walls, harshly welcoming anyone who dares to enter.
  13. >”Let’s go! come on!” the Chief shouts before diving into a column of smoke.
  14. >3 others, including anon, follow closely behind.
  15. >the blaze continuously roars, drowning out the stomping of boots.
  16. >This once elegant little apartment is reducing itself to nothing more than ash.
  17. >Heavy clouds of darkness hang around the 4 man battalion.
  18. >Apart from the dim glow of fire, the surrounding area was completely obscured.
  19. >Radio chatter sounded off near anon’s ear
  20. >teams reporting their locations, or calling up EMTs to “fire up the grill,” as one had said.
  21. >Anon silently chuckles at the, somewhat ironic, joke.
  22. >”Anon! Henstein! You’re up!” The Chief yells, motioning to the door before him.
  23. >Henstein, the towering giant, walks up to the door, axe in hand.
  24. >Henstein pulls the axe back and proceeds to burst through the door with little effort, sending pieces of wood flying.
  25. >The two of them get on the floor and slowly enter the colorless room.
  26. >”Fire Department!” Anon cries out, but only gets a reply from the crackling flames.
  27. >Anon and Henstein feel their way through the entire room, leaving no crevice unchecked.
  28. ”Room’s clear!” Anon calls out.
  29. >”Got it,” The Chief sounds out, quickly placing a shimmering yellow flag near the door.
  30. >The group scampers out of the room and onto the next.
  31. >The floorboards creak in protest as the unit rushes to it’s next objective.

  36. >Swiftly, the group checks what seemed like countless number of rooms, with little to no intervention
  37. >”You’d think we would have found someone by now” The chief chimes in
  38. >”But there is not a soul.”
  39. >The gang makes it to the last door of their current hallway.
  40. >The smoke grows thicker by the second.
  41. >Thick effort to start seeping through the filters.
  42. >The taste of burnt wood and metal hits Anon in the mouth, but it does not deter him from his duty.
  43. >With two swings of his axe, anon breaks the door, just enough to swing it open.
  44. >Globs of darkness pour from the room, further hindering any vision.
  45. >With each step that Henstein and Anon take, the heat intensifies.
  46. >A dull glow can be spotted across the room
  47. >’What is that?’ Anon questions himself
  48. >”FIRE DEPARTMENT!” Henstein bellows, the expression rumbling through anon’s chest.
  49. ”Got a wall over here,” Anon exclaims.
  50. >The pair transverse the room, eventually reaching that mysterious glow.
  51. >At this point, Anon was close enough to make out it’s shape.
  52. >Anon stared into the square of light, before realizing the object.
  53. ”A laptop!” Anon enthusiastically exclaimed.
  54. >”Great! Now we can unlock the door to the boss!” Henstein sneered.
  55. >’but why would anyone leave a laptop behind’ Anon thought.
  56. >Anon tried to make out what was on the screen, but it was covered in layers of haze.
  57. >Regaining focus, Anon turned to continue his search, but was immediately halted by a pair of boots.
  58. >He and Henstein followed the boots up to the wearer's body, staring at the towering figure that loomed of them.
  59. >A deep, yet crackled voice emerged from the shadow.
  60. >”Option 1 or Option 2?”

  65. >Dumbfounded, Anon lets out a confused “um.”
  66. >”Sir, are you alright?” Henstein asks, reaching for him, but the figure slides away.
  67. ”Um, hey Chief! I think we got one!” Anon calls out, springing back from the confusion.
  68. >The figure’s back was tall enough to reach the roof, forcing it to hunch over.
  69. >It’s choice of attire? A trench coat.
  70. >One that was as devoid of any color whatsoever, as if looking into a void of sorrow and depression.
  71. >”What’s his status?” The Chief questioned.
  72. >Anon turned to Henstein, and Henstein to the figure.
  73. >”Sir, I’ll ask again; are you o-”
  74. >”Option 1 or Option 2? Do hurry, we don’t have much time.”
  75. “He needs a lot of help.”
  76. >“On it.” The Chief pulls his radio to his face “we got a survivor over here and……”
  77. >The figure wore a fedora as dark as it’s coat, with a single stripe of silver going around.
  78. >”I already made a transaction today, and I am more willing to make anotheeer; choose.”
  79. >The crackling of fire increasingly grew in noise, as if it was in desperate need of attention.
  80. >Henstein’s face twisted in frustration, as he tried to size up the fedora wearer.
  81. >”Listen here, we’ll play whatever sick game you’re playing, but we got to get out here first!”
  82. >Trench opened his mouth, but the sound was not his.
  83. >It was a horn; a horn that might as well be played by satan himself.
  84. >The horn blared 3 times before the team’s radios came to life.
  85. >”ATTENTION ALL UNITS; EVACUATE THE BUILD IMMEDIATELY. STRUCTURAL DAMAGE DETECTED.”

  90. >The radio, and the room, fell silent
  91. >”ANON, HENSTEIN, GET THAT FUCKER AND LETS JET!” The Chief anxiously yelled.
  92. >The ceiling starts to crumble and crack.
  93. >Anon and Henstein lunge at Trench coat, but it manages to escape their grasps.
  94. >”Option 1 or 2?”
  95. >”Y-YE- YES, YEA.” Anon stampers.
  96. >The cracking becomes audible.
  97. >”OPTION 2!” Both simultaneously scream.
  98. >Trench gives a sinister smile, one that is capable of piercing through the thickest of smoke.
  99. >Pieces of rubble start to fall from the deteriorating ceiling.
  100. >Trench opens up his coat, revealing a seemingly never ending void with in.
  101. >It shuffles it’s arm around in the coat, pulling out a large duffle bag from thin air.
  102. >”Here we are” Trench chuckled, throwing the weighted bag at anon.
  103. >The force of the bag causes Anon to stumble backwards.
  104. >The roof started to rain down on the 3 of them.
  105. >”Don’t let anyone, other than the 2 of you, see what’s inside.” It hissed.
  106. > With it’s final words, the ceiling caved in, flooding the room with dust, support beams and rubble.
  107. >It all came raining down on trench, easily crushing him like a bug.
  108. >”ANON! HENSTEIN!” The Chief shouted out.
  109. >Anon could not help but stare at where trench once stood, clutching the bag with all his might.
  110. >“We’re fine!” Henstein assured.
  111. >”Come on buddy,” Pulling Anon to his feet, “let’s get the fuck out of here.”
  112. >The two of them tackled through the smoke, regrouping with the 2 others.
  113. >Anon’s limbs felt limp.
  114. >His vision was blurred (not like he could see clearly anyways).
  115. >A ringing paraded around in his ear.
  116. >He could hear Chief talking, but the sound was incomprehensible and muffled.
  117. >Before Anon knew it, he felt the blinding light of the sun, pummel his eyes.
  118. >The ringing slowly subsided, as he felt the contents of the bag stir.

  141.
  142. >Blue sky.
  143. >The clouds danced in the air, swaying around, forming a variety of shapes.
  144. >It was always there, the sky, but there was something off about it.
  145. >Something had changed, and it wasn’t the smoke that occupied half of the view.
  146. >A quiet whisper emerged from the back of Anon’s mind:
  147. >’there's something in the bag.’
  148. >He nervously looks around, trying to regain all his bearings.
  149. >EMTs and Paramedics rushed around in a blurred haze, tending to the wounds of the survivors.
  150. >Flocks of people surrounded the blazing building, pointing, shouting, recording.
  151. >Cries of sadness filled the air, as residents watched their home crumble.
  152. >Anon frantically turned, in hopes of spotting what had changed
  153. >”You alright there Anon?” Bellowed a voice.
  154. >Anon spun around faster than a top, and came face to face with the muscular body that was henstein.
  155. >”You seem a little out of it.”
  156. >'there's something in the bag.'
  157. ”Yea, I am fine,” sighed Anon.
  158. ”I just can't stop thinking about that guy..... Have they found his body yet?”
  159. >”Well, the fire hasn't really gone down much; might be a while till they do the second sweep.”
  160. >Anon and Henstein stared at the imaginary void that lay upon the ground.
  161. >”But hey, at least there is one less creep in the world, right?” he chuckled
  162. >'there's something in the bag.'
  163. >Henstein's attempt at humor went straight over Anon, causing Henstein to scrunch his face up a bit.
  164. >”Hey Anon, you're grabbing that bag pretty tight...”
  165. >'there's something in the bag'
  166. >”what's in it anyways?”
  167. >'there's something in the bag'
  168. >Anon looked up at the smoldering building, watching the smoke become less dense.
  169. >Anon was mesmerized by the steadily rising smoke, nearly disregarding Henstein's presence.
  170. >In his dazed stupor, Anon simply replied with closest words around.
  171. ”There's something... In the bag.”

  177.
  178. >Anon's eyes widen after catching the statement.
  179. >His face jumped to Henstein's, who's confusion was now visible.
  180. > Anon's voice became much sharper and quicker.
  181. ”There's somethin in the bag!”
  182. >”Yea, kinda what was asking; I take it that you haven't looked?”
  183. ”No.” Anon swiftly replyed.
  184. ”I should do that.” Placing the bag on the ground.
  185. >But as rapid as he placed the bag, he brought it back up, cradling it slightly.
  186. ”No, can't.” He eyed the crowds of people.
  187. ”Not here at least.”
  188. >”What? What are you talking about?” Henstein questioned, trying to spot the same imaginary danger.
  189. ”That thin- that man, said not to let anyone one but us see what's inside.”
  190. >Henstein was now flustered. ”Are you serious Anon?”
  191. >”That guy was fucked up the head!”
  192. ”We need to find some place safe.” Anon's grip tightened.
  193. >”You're really going to listen to the guy?!”
  194. >Silence fell between the two, but the world around them kept shouting.
  195. >”Give me the bag Anon” Henstein calmly pleaded, extending his arms toward the bag.
  196. ”What? NO!” Anon snapped, trying to dodge Henstein's grasps.
  197. >But it was in vain, for Henstein already got a hold of the bag, and was pulling.
  198. >”Give me, the bag!”
  199. >The pair go back and forth, fighting over the bag as if it were made of gold.
  200. >At this rate, Anon knew this was a fight he would lose, especially against Henstein.
  201. >So he did what any other anon would do.
  202. ”Let. Go. Of. The. Bag!” Exhaling sharply at the end, Anon swung his leg forward, planting it straight on Henstein's nether regions.
  203. >Henstein, letting out an audible ”hhhrrrmpp,” flinched ever so slightly, but it was enough for Anon to make his escape.
  204. >”Where are you going Anon!” Henstein shouted, panting between words.
  205. >Anon made no effort in looking back, running as if he just committed murder.
  206. >”That was a cheap shot, you know that, Anon?” Henstein’s fading voice chimed in.

  213. >Somewhere between all the chaos, Anon managed to hail a taxi.

  215. >”Where to, my friend?” A russian man drawled.
  216. >Anon spoke as best he could, but the words came out in slurs.
  217. >To Anon’s surprise, the scenery started to move.
  218. > The driver shifted in his seat, trying to shake off Anon's strange vibe.
  219. >”So did ya hear about that riot in that prison? Many dead, and one missing. It so crazy, because I actually meet the guy. He-...”
  220. >The driver droned on
  221. >Anon’s head was too busy trying to figure out what was in the dull, green bag next to him.
  222. >The urge to open it and revievel it’s forbidden contents was great.
  223. >However, his restraint was greater.
  224. >Before long, the cab pulled up at the front of Anon’s apartment.

  231.
  232. >The apartment was naturally quiet, borderline somber.
  233. >Anon sighed in relief, knowing that he would not be questioned about the bag, or get strange looks.
  234. “Almost there.” He spoke, comforting the bag.
  235. >Anon raced up the stairs, making his way to his door, second floor.
  236. >Anon picks up a brisk pace, bag on shoulder, keys jingling in hand.
  237. >Suddenly, the door parallel to his starts to creep open.
  238. ‘shit shit shit shit shit’
  239. >A young, luminous woman steps into the hallway, back towards Anon as she closes the door.
  240. >Her raven, silk-like hair glowed in the dim-lit corridor.
  241. >She turns, unknowingly facing Anon.
  242. >Her face lights up with a smile when she sees Anon.
  243. >”Hey, Anon!” She squeaked. “You sure are home early; you alright?”
  244. >Her voice chimed with concern on the last part.
  245. >There wasn’t any defining curves on this petite lady, but something about her made Anon inflamed with desire.
  246. >’God she is so hot.’
  247. >’there’s something in the bag.’
  248. >”You seem a bit, spacey” She chirped, motion her hands around her head, on the word “spacey.”
  249. >Anon flashes a smile.
  250. “Yea...yea, I’m fine. I just had a long, weird day.”
  251. >The bag’s contents move slightly at the end.
  252. >Anon positions himself to where he is obstructing the bag’s view from her.
  253. “But, I would do it hundred times if it meant I could talk to you.” His smile widens.
  254. >’Dayum Anon, you smooth ass motherfucker.’
  255. >The women’s eyes glimmer with light, as her face softens a bit.
  256. >For a moment the 2 stare into each other’s eye, silently pondering what is to come from this moment.
  257. >But the moment is broken by the ringing of a phone.

  280. >Only the ambient light from the setting sun illuminated his living room.
  281. >Usually, Anon would stay near the doorway, taking in the sight; but this time was different.
  282. >The bedroom door swung open, as he rushed inside, his large bed silently greeting him.
  283. >But instead of his usual self, he threw the bag onto the mattress.
  284. >Anon paced around on the side of the bed before propping up a chair to sit in.
  285. >He silently gazed at the bag.
  286. ‘Just open it’
  287. >The wind whistled softly outside.
  288. ‘That’s the worst thing that could be in there?’

  300. >The Sky was painted red, as well with an assortment of other colors...even blue.
  301. >Anon, with slight hesitation, lifted the flap upward, revealing the contents that lay inside.
  302. >A white body occupied the space.
  303. >Apart from the occasional raising and falling of the chest, the creature looked motionless.
  304. >It had voluminous, violet hair protruding from it’s head, and what seemed to be a rump.
  305. >And it wore 3 shimmery, blue diamonds on said rump.

  321. >These spots were usually accompanied by a bruise or two.
  322. “What is this thi- Is this a pony?”
  323. >Anon shifted to get a better view of the mare, glancing at its horn.
  324. “WAIT, It’s a unicorn?!” combing his hands through his hair.
  325. “No.” Anon protesting, studying the protrusion carefully.
  326. “The top looks…..weird” He exclaimed, eyeing the jagged top.
  327. >Anon paced around the bed, never taking his eyes off the unicorn.
  328. “Is this real?”
  329. >Anon carefully reached out to touch the pony's mane, not knowing if it would lash back.
  330. “So...soft,” He cooed.
  331. >The pony fidgeted in place, causing Anon to spring back.
  332. >But Anon miscalculated the jump, tripping over the chair behind him.
  333. >His back slammed against the floor, eliciting a massive “THUD.”
  334. >The mare’s eyes fling open, adjusting themselves to the low-lit conditions.
  335. >With great caution, the unicorn rose up, simultaneously studying her surroundings.
  336. >Anon was rolling on the floor, holding his back as if were to fall off.
  337. >He jerks his head up, locking eyes with the white horse.
  338. >The 2 stay silent, afraid of breaking it’s fragile nature.
  339. >The unicorn’s lips are visibly trembling.
  340. “.....hi?”

  353. >The pony tries to squirm out of the bag, falling over in the process.
  354. “It’s okay,” Anon raises his hands in surrender. “I am not going to hurt you.”
  355. >Anon motions slightly closer to the mare.
  356. >”Don’t you dare take another step!” a frizzled blue aura engulfs a nearby pillow, erratically bringing it into the air.
  357. >”I’m warning you!”
  358. >Anon’s mouth is agape, words trapped on his tongue.
  359. >A small spark emits from the unicorn’s horn, causing her gaze to drift upward.
  360. >She lets out a sharp gasp, slowly raising her hooves to her mouth.
  361. >”Mm...my….my horn.” the mare sniffles.

  368. >’Jesus, they’re beautiful...wait, where the fuck did that come from?’
  369. >”How can you be so sure!? After all, I was safe in poonnyviiilllllle.” the sob was louder this time.
  370. >The floating pillow instantly picked up speed, propelling through the air, its target in sight: Anon’s face.
  371. >When the pillow made contact, Anon’s entire body was sent backward.
  372. >The world was spinning; each part of Anon’s mind was screaming.
  373. >’Today was fucked up.’
  374. >Anon slammed into the floor, unconscious.

  384. >The thud thundered across the ground
  385. >The white coated mare broke away from her sobs, cautiously watching a motionless Anon.
  386. >Several moments fly by.
  387. >”He-hello?” She sniffles.
  388. >The pony finds the strength to pull herself up, and plods over to Anon.
  389. >”Excuse me?” She pokes at Anon’s still form.
  390. >The unicorn lowers herself down to the ground, coming face to face with the man
  391. >”Is anybody in there!?” She shouts, but silence is the only response.
  392. >”Oh dear Celestia, what have I done?!”
  393. >The mare nervously looks around, ready to silence any witnesses.
  394. >but none are around, allowing her to dart into the living room.
  395. >”There has to be an-” She spots the front door, “Exit!”

  397. >’It’s so similar’ She turns the deadbolt.
  398. >A transparent, blue glow falls over the doorknob, jiggling it ever so slightly.
  399. >”Come on magic, work!” *CLICK* “Yes!”
  400. >The door creaks open, revealing a sliver of the hallway.
  401. >The small mare turns over to look back at Anon.
  402. >His position has not changed in the slightest.
  403. >A flood of guilt looms above the pony.
  404. >”I can’t just leave him there….” Tears start to gather around her eyes.
  405. >She peers out the door, seeing that the world beyond is less welcoming and darker.
  406. >The violet maned mare turns to Anon, Slamming the door behind her.
  407. >’what are you doing Rarity?’
  408. >She trots over to the unmoving man.
  409. >’You need to leave, NOW!’
  410. >The mare gently slides the pillow underneath Anon.
  411. >’but...’
  412. >She eye’s Anon’s strange, bulky, human form.
  413. >’He’s the only lead I have.’
  414. >Rarity makes her way over to her original, fallen location.
  415. >She huddles up, and cries herself to sleep, praying that it was all just a terrible nightmare.

  446. >”Well Rarity, back to Equestria,” the mare unsteadily exhaled.
  447. >The ‘clip’ of her hoof echoed down the hallway.
  448. >The hall passed the point of view, curving with the Earth.
  449. >The dim lighting illuminated rogue dust clouds, circling around the tiny horse.
  450. >Towering walls of an offbeat, earth-brown enclosed the area.
  451. >A moan (came from) a familiar direction.
  452. >It was Anon; he was stirring in his dormant state.
  453. >For Rarity, it was enough reason to jump back into the room, closing off the strange outside world.

  463. >The man's lungs give way to the toxic smoke, polluting his body ever so slowly.
  464. >”FIRE DEPARTMENT” Anon yells out.
  465. >the man wheezes, struggling to respond.
  466. >But it was too late.
  467. >The clouds of darkness had already taken their toll.
  468. >Anon spots the man, sprinting over to his downed body.
  469. ”Don't worry sir; I've got you” Anon claims, lifting the limp man to his feet.
  470. >Henstein rushes up, grabbing the man’s legs
  471. >The fire chuckles at their worthless feat, but the two push on.
  472. >Though the view was covered in smoke, Anon could see vibrantly every step he took.
  473. >The fire fighters swiftly calculated their steps, escaping the blazing structure in no time.
  474. >Gasps and sharp sobs flowed into the air, as the man exited the building.
  475. > a couple of paramedics rose up and took the man out of the fighters' grasps.
  476. >Before diving back in the hostile building, Anon turned back to the paramedics.
  477. >They'd stopped.
  478. >The man still lay motionless on the ground.
  479. >Anon abruptly turned back to the building.
  480. ”I can't stop, not now”
  481. >But his movement was interrupted by the tall, void-like figure from before.
  482. >”Rise and shine, Anon,” it bellowed. “Rise and shine.”
  483. >”None can know of her existence, ‘less you want to void our contract.”
  484. >A mind-throbbing darkness engulfed Anon, blocking all sight.
  485. >”but trust me, that won't end well..... for you at least.” It gave a gut retching laugh.

  506. >Anon out stretched his hand, gesturing for silence.
  507. >A side from the eye gouging pain, Anon’s mind was surprisingly less cluttered.
  508. >He fidgeted around, trying to get one foot on the ground.
  509. >”Here, let me help you” The pony instantly drew closer.
  510. “Don’t worry, I got it” Anon assured, lifting himself upward.
  511. >He towered over the small mare, looking straight down at her.
  512. >Rarity’s heart skipped a beat, preparing to dash out incase Anon attempted anything.
  513. “Huh, so this is what Henstein must feel like.” Anon quietly muttered.
  514. >”I beg your pardon?”
  515. “Oh, nothing. It’s...nothing……….. Um, I’m Anon.”
  516. >He shot his hand out attempting to greet his guest.
  517. >But the motion caused Rarity to flinch slightly.
  518. >”...well, I’m Rarity; very nice to meet you Anon.” She exclaimed, gently placing her hoof in Anon’s hand.
  519. >’God damn, her hoof is angel soft’
  520. >The white mare loudly cleared the passage of her throat.
  521. >”Formal greetings aside, if you could be so kind as to point me in the direction of Ponyville, I would forever be in your debt.”

  533. Anon hesitated “I’ve never even heard of ‘ponyville.’”

  535. >”Oh, well that’s not a problem; surely you know of Canterlot?”
  536. >Anon looked around the corners of his eyes before initiating a slow shake of the head.

  549. >”Wh-Where are you going?”
  550. >She tailed Anon like a lost puppy.
  551. ”Getting ice for my face.”
  552. >Anon digged through his freezer, extracting the frozen liquid into a baggy.
  553. “Look…”
  554. >He sealed the bag, placing firmly on his face.
  555. “I don’t really know who you are, what you are, or where you even came from-”
  556. >”Likewise” Rarity rebuttled.
  557. >Anon casted a firm glare before continuing.
  558. “But, I’ll tell you everything I know.”
  559. >The White horse attentively eyed Anon, capturing every word from his mouth.
  560. “I was on duty -volunteer firefighter by the way- and….”
  561. >Anon looked at the ground, trying to recall those seemingly ancient memories.
  562. “There was this man, an impossibly tall man, darker than death.”
  563. >Bells rang across Rarity’s mind.
  564. >Anon glanced up at mare.
  565. >A puzzled frown plastered upon her face.
  566. “He had you in that bag, and….he gave it to me; why me, I don’t really know.”
  567. >Rarity shut her eye, composing all the information that had been given.
  568. >”I-I saw it as well, the man; it was just a glimpse, and it happened so fast, I could hardly process it.”
  569. >” ‘Darker than death...’ “ She mimicked.
  570. >”I’ve heard of slimming blacks, but his figure was ridiculous!” the mare lightly chuckled.
  571. >It was possibly the lamest joke Anon had heard, but he couldn’t stop the smile that overtook his face.
  572. >Silence caressed them, as they studied each other’s form(s).
  573. >A damp grumble pierced through the air.
  574. >Rarity’s cheek flowered a deep red, while Anon let out a hearty giggle.
  575. “I take it that you’re hungry.” Anon beamed
  576. >The mare slumped her head down slightly, retaining a light smirk.

  588. ’that went a whole lot better than expected’ he thought, scouring through the packets of vegetables.

  590. >Rarity stood in the living rooming, head and body turning as she caught sight of every detail.
  591. >It was a quaint, little room; big enough for many, but small enough for one.
  592. >A couple of couches and one wide coffee table, occupied the room’s center.
  593. “Hey, you only eat fruits and veggies, right?” Anon shouted.
  594. >”There’s no greater food, my dear” -’did you just call him dear?’-
  595. >Anon scoffs to the claim, and Rarity responds with a silent eyeroll.
  596. >The largest couch stood out the most
  597. >Its threading was much more intricate than the others.
  598. >Patterns flowed from one corner to the other.

  603. >”Thank you, Anon.” sincerity traveling through her words.

  605. “Besides, it’s the least I can do for you.” he assured, flashing a smile.
  606. ‘Why are you helping this thing?’
  607. >”I don’t think I can thank you enough.”

  622. >She turned to Anon, waiting for a reply.
  623. “Or, I’m fattening you up for my next meal.” He winked.
  624. >Rarity blushed slightly before quickly turned back to the salad.
  625. ‘God damn it Anon, you misunderstood, sexual deviant...wait, am I the devian-’
  626. >”You know,” The mare’s mouth straightened “My friends and I used to pick random restaurants each week, and just dine at them. I, for the most part, enjoyed the elegant ones, but it didn’t really matter; as long as I was was with them, everything was perfect.”
  627. >Tears formed at the rims of her eyes, transversing the side of her face.
  628. “Rarity…”
  629. >The mare jumped a tad bit at the sound of her name, directing all present attention to Anon.

  631. ‘Don’t make empty promises Anon.’
  632. >Rarity nodded her head, wiping tears away from her forehooves.
  633. >The soft skinned mare faced her plate once more, this time (sans the use of magic) digging into the salad, and chunking the leafy greens into her mouth.
  634. >”Not bad, for a savage meat eater. Not bad at all” She winked.

  648. >”I’m not not?” She squeaked.
  649. “Of course not! I can’t do that to a guest; you’re sleeping in my bed.”
  650. ‘Jeez, might as well adopt her.’
  651. The small mare fell back to the couch.
  652. >”I can’t do that to you, Anon. You should sleep as you *yawn* normally do.”
  653. “I don’t mind it.”
  654. >Rarity studied the bulky man.
  655. >”You’re as good as they come, anon; luckily, so am I.” She stood up, stretching her hind legs over the couch.
  656. >The mare trotted her way through the bedroom before disappearing.
  657. >It was finally time to get some restful sleep.
  658. >But sleep did not come to them quickly.
  659. >It was anxiety that washed over Anon, as he pondered of the consequences in voiding his “contract.”
  660. >And it was with doubt that said “contract” even existed.
  661. >Melancholy took hold of Rarity, as she tossed and turned into the late hours of the night.

  663. >She shakes it off as an impossibility, but the thought won’t stop gnawing at her.
