The short version reads:
Norman Russeau took his own life this past Saturday, May 12, after battling Wells Fargo, unsuccessfully, for over 2 years in a foreclosure proceeding fraught with deceit.  Norman became overcome with grief and frustration over the thought of his family potentially becoming homeless.
This case is a prime portrayal of Wells Fargo's predatory business practices.

Wells Fargo had scheduled the eviction for Monday, May 14, at 6:00am.  The eviction has since been postponed for 2 weeks.

I've been in touch with the Family's lawyer, Chris Gardas,and am passing along a brief statement:

"Oriane is doing as well as can be expected.   Still in very dire straits, but finding strength and solace in the response she’s receiving from strangers all over the world.

***Financial assistance is desperately needed.

Off the top of my head, the needs list includes:

·         Obtaining housing.  It is traumatic for Oriane to return to her home and she has nowhere to go.  Her church has paid for a hotel for 7 days, it’s unclear what will happen after that.  She has a dog and cat (her babies) that she desperately does not want to lose (she already found a home for her other dog).

·         They had enough funds for a small storage unit, certainly not big enough for all their possessions.  It would be nice to get funds or donation of storage place so that she does not have to lose the rest of her things.

·         A laptop or notebook so that she can stay connected to the internet.  Right now I’m orally updating her on the blogs, etc. and reading the email to her so that she knows people are rallying around her.

·         If she can’t find suitable housing, perhaps a mechanic who can fix the motorhome.

·         Perhaps people willing to call around for donations of needed items like storage, cell phone minutes, housing, etc." -Chris
