Hoops Rules
1. Accept your teammates and yourself. You only get one shot to make history together.
2. There is one path to greatness, one way to make history. That begins with you.
3. Prepare, Practice, Play, The 3 Ps. Do them in this order!
4. Stay in shape
5. Listen to what I say and what Keaton says.
6. If we give you advice it is likely something you need to hear.
7. Communicate with your teammates! What can I say, if you do not know english, then how are you reading this?
8. Effort required here. Lazy people, please do not apply for Basketball.
9. Scoring is not as important as being here and trying to PARTICIPATE.
10. Assists, Rebounds, Steals, Blocks, Points, Minutes, Turnovers, all important. Look em up on your own time if ya dont know what they are. I dont wanna see you with your phones out looking em up right now!
11. Do not do something you arent good at during a game! Unless you think you can do it correctly.
12. Dont be late, ever. Coach hates it when Hoops kids miss practice, games, J. V., anything!
13. Dont make dumb excuses for skipping. We have ways of figuring out.
14. We may add rules to the list, (Coaches only) at any time we feel it is necessary.
15. Not reading the rules is not an excuse.
16. Actually drink water during water breaks please! In the past weve had to take extra timeouts during games cause noone was drinking water and they were all chatting instead.
17. Have fun above all else! =)
