  1. The world arose from stories. It is said that once ago the creators lived in another land, much like ours, but at the same time different in ways innumerable. Our world has the essence of theirs, but is not the same. They sat, the seven of the seven colors and the Great Danu above all, on the thrones of their lands.
  2.
  3. And so Danu spoke. "I'm bored." The other creators paused, before turning to the great one, their heads raised in question. "This world has no flavor anymore- nothing. We have seen all it can create. Found all that can be made within it's confines. We need a new place. A novel place with new beings and places and things. A place to call our own. A place with new Stories."
  4.
  5. And so the Red spoke, curiosity plain upon it's visage. "A new world? It should be a world of heroes and villains, great deeds and powerful words."
  6.
  7. The yellow dissented, raising it's voice slightly. "No! A world of mystery and change, things unknown and wonders to be found!"
  8.
  9. The woman in violet hmmphed, extending a hand towards the center of the room. "This is not the story I want- I want the stories of families and friends, small events and happy pleasures. Simple and emotional, none of these fantastic tales."
  10.
  11. The Indigo gave a haughty laugh, derision clear in its voice. "This world is one of violence! Darkness and suffering and terror! And you speak of /happiness/? The only happiness is the pleasure of your enemies' heads at your feet, and the jubilation of your fellows upon victory!"
  12.
  13. The Great Danu slowly stood in it's chair, the grey and white of it's crystals reflecting the glow of the others throughout the throne room, and made a simple motion, commanding the attention of the seven.
  14.
  15. "We are perhaps getting ahead of ourselves. As in ours, all your stories shall be able to ring out within it. We have not even created the framework of this world. Let us speak- of the powers and things that come to this world. Let us speak of stars and mountains and magic. I shall provide the story, and you the details, as we craft this world- let it be."
  16.
  17. And so the great Danu spoke, and the seven spoke in turn, filling in the gaps in the world, as it's framework was created- the outline in which it's natural progression would create the others. And so the Outline was created, and stays to this day ,though in some respects it has changed, that is a story for another time.
  18.
  19. And the seven paused, and Danu spoke once more. "As I have enabled your new place, I shall create the first story within it. The Story. The story above all, Mine alone." The others complained, but none could speak the words as well as Danu, so Danu spake their story, the story that is untold and always told. One of the great mysteries of our world is still what the story was, for while the world and the Seven knows it, none have ever spoke of it.
  20.
  21. Years and milennia passed, and Danu became bored, restless- the stories of the other seven were not enough, but their story had not come to pass, and would not for a time beyond times yet. And so Danu left, for other places, other Stories, before theirs had yet come to pass.
  22.
  23. But without Danu, the Seven could not tell their stories, for none was enough to reshape the world, not on their own. They could not Create, merely change. And then one had an idea.
  24.
  25. The Small one, the Blue, spoke an idea. "Why don't we just take other stories? For we are not the only Storytellers, and by taking bits and pieces from theirs, their worlds, we can augment our own, and make it Fun." And the others agreed- if they could not make, why not steal?
  26.
  27. And so bits and pieces and even entire other worlds vanished, forming with their own, in strange and new ways. The worlds collided and changed and formed... and became our great world.
  28.
  29. (Kitchen Sink setting with bits from various other settings, not like any official ones, but allows characters to define their own backstories, uses homebrew 'Panquest' system, which allows for making up new abilities/mechanics, characters are all from other worlds brought to this one, probably mostly modern worlds.)
