  1. Malcom
  2. Level 1 Human Cleric of Life
  3.
  4. Laughed out of academia for trying to present evidence of paranormal phenomenon and approaches to investigate them, Malcom was surprised when he was approached about his supposed expertise some years later. He was even more surprised when he was ordered to join a team dealing with said phenomenon shortly after with no choice to refuse.
  5.
  6. He's a follower of Ilmater, the Enduring, and champions various social initiatives that make life better for the poor and downtrodden. His time as a cleric was largely spent bolstering the wills of the suffering and trying to identify the sources of social ills and address them. He has several published papers on the value of public infrastructure, ensuring water quality, and the righteousness of following building codes. He generally struggles to get any funding.

  66. Researcher (Sage)
  67. When you attempt to learn or recall a piece of lore, if you do not know that information, you often know where and from whom you can obtain it. Usually, this information comes from a library, scriptorium, university, or a sage or other learned person or creature. Your DM might rule that the knowledge you seek is secreted away in an almost inaccessible place, or that it simply cannot be found. Unearthing the deepest secrets of the multiverse can require an adventure or even a whole campaign.
  68.
  69. DISCIPLE OF LIFE (Life Domain)
  70. Also starting at 1st level, your healing spells are more effective. Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to a creature, the creature regains additional hit points equal to 2 + the spell's level.
