[Background]:

Formed on August 11, 2074, the 'Children of Monsters' was an odd mental response to the continued emergence of the very first P.E.M.F.s in the early years of First Wave. Whilst most civilians were in shock or fear of the creatures, the Children of Monsters took a..... different approach. Rather than fearing the unique organisms, they chose to worship them as deities, seeing their unique biological make-up as the ultimate proof of a higher form of existence beyond mere mortals. Although initially a small and isolated group, the increasing frequency of P.E.M.F. attacks led to greater numbers flocking to the new-found cult.

As an apparent "duty" to their "gods", the Children of Monsters devote much of their lives in opposition to the Warmonger project, actively protesting and sabotaging any and all related media and locations they can find. Even up until 2145, there are reports of cult activities popping up all over the globe, with sudden resurgences at the news of the re-emergence of the P.E.M.F.s on August 7.


[Handling Procedures]:

Politely request all cult activities to cease at once or face immediate arrest. Any and all whom do not comply will be open to non-lethal suppression. There will be no in-between decisions. Any and all whom do not carry out such actions will face the same charges as cult members.

[Group]: "P.E.M.F. Preservation Movement"

[Background]:

A pro-P.E.M.F. group formed shortly before the Children of Monsters, individuals of the movement were of the mindset that the P.E.M.F.s, though a danger to Humanity, were also a unique and rare group of organisms worth protecting, and actively protested against the deployment of nuclear force and Warmongers against the creatures. However, the increasing frequency of the attacks gradually caused the movement to die down, and soon the group disbanded and returned to their normal lives. There are rumours that some of the more disgruntled members went on to found the Children of Monsters, though these are unconfirmed.

[Background]:

Initially a civilian-founded group, the MDWA served as a volunteer group of individuals whom tracked P.E.M.F. movement and warned any major settlements of possible incidents. As the attacks grew in frequency, the group grew larger and eventually became an official government-sanctioned division, doing the exact same duties as before, only with government backing and access to advanced detection technology. After the conclusion of First Wave, the division was disbanded. However, upon the re-emergence of the P.E.M.F. threat on August 7, the division was reinstated and immediately put to work for future events.
