  1. NISA's previous fuckups :
  2. (Those with question marks have been rumored but cannot be entirely verified so take those with a
  3. grain of salt)
  4.
  5. AR TONELICO ELEMIA, MANA KHEMIA 1 and 2
  6. Bad string handling leading to complete crash against specific bosses (AT1, MK2) / 99% of the extra dungeon enemies (MK1) forget about all those super weapons and items
  7. MK2's problem can be easily avoided, but that's not the only sloppy thing: Game also crashes when
  8. doing several things in the extra chapter if Raze isn't the main character. Crash on specific attack by early optional job Ulrika boss - can be easily defeated with luck and enough crushing to make it lose its turn.
  9.
  10. AR TONELICO METAFALICA
  11. Typographical errors, missing words, and shaky sentences, mistranslation of important game terms, inconsistently-adapted names
  12. Localization introduced or exposed game-crashing bugs in the game.
  13. NISA marketed the game based on sex appeal, when, in fact, AT2 was intended to be a more serious
  14. and thoughtful game, with less emphasis on cheap hooks and a greater focus on the plot, than Ar Tonelico Elemia
  15. In order to fit English voice acting onto the disc, they cut approximately half of the Japanese voice-acted scenes, leaving many important plot points lacking appropriate impact.
  16.
  17. AR TONELICO QOGA
  18. Typographical errors and untranslated text in various spots on top of their "translation" not
  19. even being remotely
  20. close to the japanese track and english voice track, what little there is, not even matching the
  21. text in some areas.
  22. There was also the DLC episode scam where they put out each chapter separate then a few days
  23. after a bundle pack which didn't work if you had downloaded the first episode.
  24.
  25. HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA
  26. Neptunia 1 would crash on the dungeon leaderboard screen if it couldn't upload your score while
  27. you were on PSN for whatever reason.
  28.
  29. HYPERDMENSION NEPTUNIA mk2
  30. Unfunny / bad translation. Added jokes to dialogue.
  31.
  32. HYPERSIMENSION NEPTUNIA V
  33. Unfunny / bad translation. Added jokes to dialogue.
  34. Didn't tell the gamers idol events DLC would not be included
  35. Freezing issues with some DLC.
  36.
  37. WITCH AND 100 KNIGHT
  38. Game-crashing bug
  39. Mediocre translation. Added jokes and nonsense to dialogue.
  40. PS3 overheating? Link: http://nisamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14425&start=90
  41.
  42. ATELIER ARLAND TRILOGY
  43. Name changing: Esty Erhart => Esty Dee (S T D = Sexual Transmission Disease, get it? XD)
  44.
  45. RHAPSODY DS
  46. Link: http://www.siliconera.com/2008/10/13/bonus-content-cut-from-rhapsody-ds/
  47. Link: http://www.siliconera.com/2008/10/14/falling-flat-encountering-rhapsodys-ds-glitches/
  48.
  49. DISGAEA 2 PSP
  50. DLC errors / can't be used without some messing around
  51.
  52. Disgaea 4
  53. Fuuka Nendo released with game had misleading promo pics, when the figure itself was not anywhere near as good
  54.
  55. DISGAEA D2
  56. Game-crashing SKILLS (several Fire-based)
  57. OPENING stops abruptly
  58. Fuuka and Desco were free DLC for the first month after release in Japan and Asia. Day 1 paid DLC
  59. in USA and EU.
  60. Can kill the PS3?
  61.
  62. FAIRU FENCER F
  63. Changing names
  64.
  65. MUGEN SOULS
  66. Scrubbing minigame removed
  67.
  68. MUGEN SOULS Z
  69. Scrubbing minigame removed, over 120 CGs inaccessible. Basically censored extremely lazily. Excuses given were "We wanted to appeal as much to a wider demographic."
  70. Elka introduced as the Hero of Water World when she's the hero of the Fire World
  71. Slumbering Boss battles cause freezes in Mugen Field
  72.
  73. lying about market bases and research. Turns out they were looking at something like 70% PC gamers interested in NIS games, but falsely told the Japanese that it was the PS3 and Xbox that were the biggest potential markets. Compile Heart games are now handled by a different international branch because of that.
