- Two years after Hogwarts a certain witch and wizard were enjoying a summer holiday in a muggle cafe.
- "Ah, I didn't think I would enjoy these incursions to muggle world so much." Said the witch, wearing a muggle ensemble of tight faux-ragged jeans and a black sweater that was tight in all the strategic places.
- Her hair was a little longer than she used to have when she was a mischievous student at Hogwarts, it was still messy as is befitting a witch of her caliber, but it was in no means chaotic, her look oozed a charm that wouldn'tve been out of place in a french magazine.
- But Above all else, it was her striking eyes that drew all the attention, eyes so unique even a muggle would swear they were magical, eyes she meticuously framed with black eyeliner.
- "Everywhere is enjoyable, as long as I am with you, my dearest." Said the wizard, a ruggedly handsome man who was wearing a pair of straight beige coloured pants and a matching earthly coloured sweater vest with a mismatch of patterns, and under it a white shirt and a green-and-silver tie.
- "Oh stop it... You're making me blush." The witch replied with her voice so thick of sugary love, that it would give instant diabetes to anyone but the wizard, who has been inocculated to her lovey-dovey words.
- The loving couple exchanging wholesome affections ordered new cups of coffee and the wizard surprised the witch with a pink cupcake, which she happily ate giggling at his silliness.
- "We have some time left before our train leaves, would you like to go shopping?" Asked the witch.
- "Why not? I could use a new pair of shoes." The wizard said, tapping a brown walking shoe, he had rested on his leg. "We've been sightseeing all week and my heels are completely worn out."
- The witch giggled. "And I need a new handbag, I just can't resist getting all these tiny knick-knacks as souvenirs, so I need a bigger bag."
- "Oh you... Any excuse to get a new bag..." The wizard smiled warmly. "Very well, let me just pay our confections, then we can go."
- The witch embraced the wizard's arm with both of hers and leaned on him, while he kept his hand casually in his pocket, the magical couple were looking around for shops. Stopping every now and then to giggle at muggle landmarks and attractions.
- The couple had finished shopping and were now sitting at a train station bench.
- "Oh, to be a muggle and live your whole life blissfully ignorant of all the magical stresses of the world..." The witch said smiling, she was leaning on the wizard with her eyes closed.
- "Yes, though their ignorance is why it is our duty, as decent neighbours to do all we can to help these unfortunate and naive people." Said the wizard, while puffing on a pipe he had pulled out.
- "You are such an altruist, my dearest." The witch said contently.
- The wizard smiled and put his hand on her hair and gently stroked it.
- The witch wished the moment would last forever, but like many good moments, this was also ended by a whistle from an arriving train. "How many do you count, dearest?" she said still keeping her eyes closed.
- The wizard kept stroking the witch's hair and tapped his chin with his pipe. "Four, and one more as backup, but that one is too green to be an auror..."
- The witch opened her violet eyes and stopped smiling. "Let's take that one alive, someone has to suffer for ruining our date..."
- The aurors stood no chance, the couple they had been sent to capture or eliminate had an unheard of advantage, the way they covered each other's blind spots caught the aurors completely off guard.
- Two of the aurors died amost immediately, they had been working as a pair for a long time and the witch who killed them had been particularily cruel. She killed the younger one first, who the older one had tried to protect.
- His final moments were of unspeakable failure, he was covered in the blood of his apprentice and the shock had left him vulnerable to be disarmed by the dark wizard, who acted seamlessly with the dark witch.
- The witch killed the older auror after giving him plenty of time to mourn for his partner.
- The two other aurors had tried to spread out to get a drop on their quarry, but hadn't expected for fatalities so quickly. Once they realized that splitting up was a mistake, they tried to get back to their ward, who wasn't yet ready to be an Auror.
- One of them was a hardened veteran, he was used to a situation like this, he had been taking down death eaters since the height of the dark lords powers, but when he heard the bloodcurdling scream of his friend, he broke down.
- All the stress he had kept bottled up from his days of nearly non-stop fighting against dark forces came crashing down on him and he started spraying curses at everything that moved.
- The dark wizard cast levicorpus on him and dropped him down into the train tracks, breaking his neck.
- The trainee at magical law-enforcement hadn't signed up for this, she was only supposed to observe from a safe distance, but everything went to hell immediately.
- The dark witch and wizard they had been dispatched to deal with were too much for even a squad of four highly-trained aurors, two of which were veterans.
- She drew her wand with shaking hands and begged for them to not have noticed that she was hiding nearby.
- "...Hello there, little one, what are you hiding from?" The dark witch landed right next to the trainee gracefully.
- The trainee immediately dropped her wand and started begging for mercy. "Please don't kill me."
- The witch just smiled sadly mocking the scared trainee. "Oh don't worry your cute head over it, I'm not going to kill you. I love cute little blonde things like you, I'll take you home with me."
- She giggled softly as the trainee started weeping in terror, but before she could even cover her eyes the wizard had cast imperius on her.
