Panda reestablished his mouth and made breathy words; “Grizz… now. I want you..your… please..”

Grizz perked at the first word and nodded at each one until there were none left. “I love you little bro. No matter what we do. I love you, Pan Pan.”

Panda’s eyes welled but didn’t break. Grizz rolled to one side and let his arms go limp to let the other bear reposition however he wanted. Panda chose to turn in and ducked down to Grizzly’s chest. He mumbled a  and poked his nose out under Grizzly’s arm to breathe. Grizz was here and everything was good and and easy and ok, and Panda felt no need to dwell on any thought. He was here with Grizz and that was all, and he felt light and fine and his eyes were heavy.

Panda contently, wistfully muttered; “Happy Valentines..love you.” and he went quiet, and dozed off.
