- Homebrew Adeptus Custode "Talons of the Emperor"
- The purpose of this document is to update the Adeptus Custode Codex to incorporate elements of the Horus
- Heresy's "Talons of the Emperor" A lot of inspiration was taken from Horus Heresy books 7 & 8
- I might add a "Pure Talons" bonus later, but for now, this is what I have.
- New Unit
- Oblivion Knight --/-- Power Level 3 --/-- HQ
- M : 7" - WS : 2+ - BS : 2+ - S : 3 - T : 3 - W : 5 - A : 4 - LD : 9 - Sv : 2+
- Company Cadre Structure: Description:A detachment that includes an OBLIVION KNIGHT may include PROSECUTORS and
- VIGILATORS as Troop choices, and WITCHSEEKERS as a HEAVY SUPPORT choice.
- Enhanced Voidsheen Cloak
- This model has a 4++ invulnerable save.
- Psychic Abomination: This model can never be targeted or affected by psychic powers. When a Psychic test or a
- Deny the Witch test is taken for an enemy model, subtract 1 from the total for each unit from your army with
- this ability within 18" of that model, to a maximum of -4.
- Witch Hunters: When resolving an attack made with a melee weapon by a model in this unit against a PSYKER
- unit, you may re-roll the wound roll.
- A Sisters of Silence Oblivion Knight is a single model armed with an Executioner Greatblade and Bolt Pistol
- This model may replace its Executioner Greatblade with a Divining Blade
- This Model may replace its Bolt Pistol with a Hand Flamer or Plasma Pistol

- a PSYKER or DAEMON, a successful wound roll inflicts D3 mortal wounds instead of the normal damage.

- Vexilla Magnifica - Your opponent must subtract 1 from hit rolls in the Shooting phase for attacks that target
- ADEPTUS CUSTODES or SISTERS OF SILENCE units within 6" of any friendly VEXILUS PRAETORS with this vexilla.Rel
- Storm Shield has been replace by "Praesidium Shield" (10 points) on all units that could previously take a
- storm shield.
- Praesidium Shield : A model equipped with a Praesidium Shield increases it's invulnerable save by 1.
- Additionally, when an enemy attempts to hit a model equipped with a Praesidium Shield with a melee attack,
- they must subtract 1 from the hit roll.

- fights they can make 2 additional attacks with this weapon. Additionally, when resolving an attack made with

- New Wargear options - ADEPTUS CUSTODE INFANTRY UNITS may equip 1 of the following per unit
- Arae Shrike - An enemy unit arriving on the battlefield later in the battle cannot do so within 12" of a unit
- that contains a model with an Arae Shrike.

- Characteristic Changes
- ADEPTUS CUSTODE INFANTRY, BIKERS, and DREADNOUGHTS
- increase their attack characteristic by 1 (3 to 4, 2 to 3, etc...)

- The Following rules have been added to certain data sheets.
- On ADEPTUS CUSTODE INFANTRY units they gain
- SOLIDARITY - Unit Coherency is increased to 3" for this unit
- On ADEPTUS CUSTODE INFANTRY, BIKERS, and DREADNOUGHTS they gain
- UNSTOPPABLE - Advance or Charge rolls made by this unit cannot be reduced.
- On TELEMON HEAVY DREADNOUGHT units they gain
- INDOMITABLE CHARGE - After this model makes a successful charge, roll a D6 for each enemy unit within 1",
- adding 1 if the unit being rolled for has 10 or more models. On a result of 4+, the unit being rolled for
- suffers D3 mortal wounds. If there is only one enemy unit within 1", that unit instead suffers D6 mortal
- wounds on a successful result
