[00:58]	* [Nom]Locke	squirms. It's the heatbugs. Damn the heatbugs
[00:59]	* CaptainFarina	loudly bangs something against the iron wall, wearing a slightly more official looking uniform and with her hair ponytail'd up. If she didn't look mean before, she does now.
[01:00]	* [Zem]R1N4	wakes Andrea up. "Time for training!" She sounds way too perky for the morning.
[01:00]	* [huh]Freya	jabs Locke harder.
[01:00]	* [Nom]Locke	snaps awake
[01:01]	<CaptainFarina>	Up an at 'em, ladies! Release your cooch and grab your boots, it's time to turn you all into killin' machines!

[01:02]	* CaptainFarina	shouts up and down the hall.
[01:02]	* [Nom]Locke	yawns, and fumbles around for his shirt
[01:02]	* [Zem]R1N4	dresses quickly and mechanically and comes out.
[01:02]	<[huh]Freya>	Not fast enough.
[01:02]	<CaptainFarina>	You got three minutes! If you aren't in the training room in three minutes, it's your ass.
[01:03]	* Andrea	begins towards the training room after getting prepared.
[01:04]	<[Nom]Locke>	"It's bloody 6 in the morn. Old men like me need to sleep long and late, you know."
[01:04]	<[huh]Freya>	Do it on your own time. Here, your time belongs the the Miss Captain.

[01:05]	* [Zem]R1N4	arrives. "Ready for duty, captain!" She salutes.

[01:24]	* CaptainFarina	watches as the minutes tick by her three-minute deadline. Missing Locke, of course, and also... Freya. Hmm.

[01:25]	* [Nom]Locke	takes a step through into his wardrobe, and is gone

[01:26]	* [huh]Freya	sets off at a run down the hall.

[01:27]	<CaptainFarina>	You, of course. What's this? you're here nearly an hour earlier than you usually bother to show up.
[01:27]	* CaptainFarina	got used to this shit back when she was a Lance Corporal

[01:29]	* [huh]Freya	goes from her dash into a slide when entering the room to kill her momentum.

[01:31]	* CaptainFarina	steps over to Freya, smiles a tad and offers a hand.

[01:32]	<CaptainFarina>	Looking for us, Private?
[01:32]	<[huh]Freya>	Am I late, Miss Captain?
[01:33]	* [huh]Freya	speaks between breaths.

[01:35]	* CaptainFarina	she is, but she'll let it slide(har har). She punches Freya in the shoulder and shoves her off in the group's direction.

[01:36]	<[GM]Mary>	You enter the Training Room, and unlike your steel barrack this room is rather spacious and non-metallic. The floors are made of some soft sort of fiber, so they give just a little when you step on it. There's a large variety of equipment strewn about, mostly things like training dummies and dulled weapons, but there's a few punching bags hanging down as well.

[01:40]	* [Nom]Locke	follows lackadaisically, hands stuffed in his pockets
[01:40]	<CaptainFarina>	First thing I'll inform you of is that you all belong to me now. And I mean that in its entirety. Each and every one of you owes me upwards of thirty thousand venia. Today, you begin payin' it off.

[01:55]	<[GM]Mary>	The captain teaches a few exercises intended to make the body more limber and lower the risk of muscle cramps.

[01:57]	* CaptainFarina	stands up, snapping her fingers and motioning for the others to do the same.

[01:58]	<CaptainFarina>	Alright. Before we begin our endurance training, I got something special for all of you...
[02:00]	* CaptainFarina	grabs a box behind a cage full of wooden pikes and lances, then pulls out two small pieces of of cloth: black shorts and a black top.
[02:01]	<CaptainFarina>	It's gonna get warm in here after a couple hours. I thought it'd be for the benefit of the team to get something less dreadful. Heh, 'course, I expect you to do all this in full iron by the end of the day, so don't get too comfortable...

[02:03]	<CaptainFarina>	Sorry, Locke, none for you.
[02:04]	* CaptainFarina	throws each person a pair of shorts and top, both conspicuously small. Your belly would definitely show...

[02:05]	* CaptainFarina	can't help but turn her head as she keeps a chuckle to herself.
[02:05]	<[huh]Freya>	Miss Captain, do you mind if I just wear my bandages? They're about the same as a layer of clothing.
[02:05]	<CaptainFarina>	...I'll keep that in mind, Sergeant.
[02:06]	<CaptainFarina>	Rina and everyone else, go change in the changing room. Freya... Just make sure you get fresh bandages.

[02:08]	* Andrea	moves into the changing room, again offering no reaction, save for obedience.

[02:09]	* [huh]Freya	removes her tunic where she stands, unraveling a part of her bandaging to tie back her hair.

[02:11]	* [Zem]R1N4	did so in the changing room. She does not mind if other people watch her.

[02:13]	* CaptainFarina	throws him a black t-shirt. Hold it up, and the front reads: HOT STUFF

[02:17]	* Andrea	looks at the clothing, hesitating for a split second before swiftly changing. The outfit clearly displays the scars snaking up and down her otherwise snow-white legs and stomach. Just barely able to mask her discomfort, she returns to the training room and awaits further orders with a blank expression.

[02:18]	* [Zem]R1N4	, while in the changing room, tells everyone, "Later today, I'm going to need to get together with you all and set up appointments for physical examinations."
[02:18]	<[Nom]Locke>	"But you are sadly mistaken, Capt'n. If I ever wanted to advertise my manly charms, I wouldn't -wear- a shirt."
[02:20]	<CaptainFarina>	For the integrity of myself and all the ladies under my command, I'm afraid I'm going to have to order you to keep your shirt worn.
[02:21]	* [huh]Freya	has stowed away her clothing in an unobtrusive corner.

[02:22]	* [Pyg]Anstice	remains silent all the while, keeping herself from letting out a yawn. That'd be bad, a lieutenant must remain dignified. Yes!

[02:23]	* [Nom]Locke	lets his maw gape with abandon. Good thing yawns are infectious in the slightest.

[02:27]	* CaptainFarina	takes off her BDU, revealing that she's already sporting her spandex. She folds her clothes neatly and places them beneath a bench.

[02:28]	<[Nom]Locke>	"Weren't you going to set an example for them, Capt'n? Jogging about in full regalia and such?"
[02:29]	<CaptainFarina>	We'll iron up soon enough. Gotta walk before you can run, Sergeant Locke.
[02:31]	* [Pyg]Anstice	returns now sporting the black shorts and top with her hair tied up into a high ponytail.
[02:31]	<[Nom]Locke>	"...I wish you'd stop calling me that. I sound like the rank and file."

[02:33]	* [Nom]Locke	rolls his eyes

[02:33]	* CaptainFarina	paces before her recruits, talking in a soft, solemn voice.
[02:36]	<CaptainFarina>	But that's the truth, ladies. While the screens at the pub may call us dragon-slaying heroes who live with honor to serve and protect, all it comes down to is state-approved killers. We don't always fight muties, you know. Usually, it's flesh and blood as even as your own.

[03:21]	* [Pyg]Anstice	falls behind and finds herself at the end of the pack. Well, this is just great.
[03:21]	* Andrea	breaks into a sprint, managing to maintain it for a good distance.
[03:23]	* CaptainFarina	, after witnessing her rather uncoordinated robot fall in a way that may break a normal person's tibia, stops her and sends her off to make breakfast for the rest of the team.
[03:24]	* CaptainFarina	jogs back to Anstice, keeping a pace in front of her. She's got that freshly-sweated sweat shine about her.

[03:30]	* CaptainFarina	moves to the side and comes to a stop, pulling out a whistle and giving it a couple toots.

[03:31]	<[Nom]Locke>	"--maybe a picnic in the afternoon--ah, whistle."

[03:33]	* [Zem]R1N4	notes the whistle, and picks up the pace on the breakfast-making. Literally; she used a small amount of salsa to spice up the breakfast and put fire into the other recruits.
[03:33]	<CaptainFarina>	Alright, that's enough! Clean yourselves up and get ready for chow time. Hey Andrea, where the hell were you goin' in such a hurry? Keep runnin' like that and you might beat the company record.

[03:35]	* Andrea	catches her breath. "... I believe it is important for a reconnaissance specialist to be light on her feet, ma'am."

[03:37]	* CaptainFarina	feels that dry knot in her throat telling her she's been running too much without water. Ah, the relaxing feeling of your muscles sizzling after a good work-out.

[03:39]	* [Pyg]Anstice	's heart rate seems to be returning to normal and she straightens herself back up.
[03:40]	* [Zem]R1N4	continues cooking, sending a delicious smell out like a beacon from the kitchen to the training room.
[03:40]	* CaptainFarina	shakes something from her mind. She goes back to her bench and starts putting her clothes back on, after throwing some water on her face and toweling off a little bit.
[03:41]	* [huh]Freya	gives Anstice a pat on the back, then goes to retrieve her tunica.
[03:42]	<[Nom]Locke>	"Feeling the years, Lefty? I guess we can't be as energetic as the kids."
[03:43]	* [Pyg]Anstice	heads over to the changing room to get back in her usual attire.
[03:43]	* [Nom]Locke	gets ignored
[03:44]	* Andrea	pats her face off with her towel, partially to hide her ecstatic grin from being complimented, before going to change back into regular clothes.

[03:47]	<CaptainFarina>	Heh. We haven't even gotten to the fun stuff yet.

[03:55]	* Andrea	enters and debates sitting next to the Captain. She ends up hovering around the table instead.

[03:55]	* [Nom]Locke	is in a seat, savouring what must be ham.
[03:56]	<Andrea>	"Rina, you did all of this yourself?"
[03:57]	<[Zem]R1N4>	I did. I have several specialized repositories of cooking knowledge.
[03:57]	* [huh]Freya	marvels at the assortment. Leaps and bounds better than what she's used to.
[03:59]	* CaptainFarina	scarfs it down, though very elegantly. Using the right silverware and keeping her elbows off the table. Everything at an angle, conforming to the golden rectangle. She still eats very quickly.
[04:01]	* [Zem]R1N4	sits there beaming, watching the people enjoy her food.
[04:01]	<Andrea>	"Ah, it -is- delicious. Thank you, Rina."
[04:01]	* [huh]Freya	has no real clue what utensil is used for what, and so begins eating with the dessert fork.
