- T300RS Hardware Button Combinations for Internal Configuration
- ---Set fan mode (prefer forced for longevity):
- - Simultaneously press the “ST*” and “MODE” buttons
- = The “Forced” mode becomes active (the LED flashes twice).
- - Simultaneously press the “ST*” and “MODE” buttons
- = The “Automatic” mode becomes active (the LED flashes once).
- “Automatic” cooling mode:
- • When you are using the wheel in a game, the cooling fan starts up when the wheel has reached a certain temperature. (after a few minutes of gameplay, depending on the strength of the Force Feedback effects used)
- • When you’re done playing: due to the motor’s thermal inertia, the cooling fan continues to operate until the temperature drops below the fan’s startup level. Your wheel has been designed in this way in order to facilitate cooling, and to protect the motor. (this may take from 5 to 45 minutes, depending on the temperature reached while using the wheel in a game)
- “Forced” cooling mode: (requires Firmware V25 or above)
- • In this mode, the cooling fan operates whenever the racing wheel is powered up, and stops only when the wheel's USB connector is no longer powered.
- This mode enables quicker cooling of the motor, and is particularly useful:
- - When playing with a very high Force Feedback setting
- - When playing in a high-temperature environment
- • The selected mode is automatically saved to the racing wheel's internal memory (i.e. you do not need to repeat this process after restarting the wheel).
- • You can switch from one mode to another at any given time (even during a game).
- ---Changing rotation angle (good for older arcade games!):
- To do so, simultaneously press (and release):
- = “D-Pad Right” + “MODE button” to increase the angle of rotation by one step
- = “D-Pad Left” + “MODE button” to decrease the angle of rotation by one step
- 5 possible settings:
- 270° LED Flashes 1 time
- 360° LED Flashes 2 times
- 540° LED Flashes 3 times
- 900° LED Flashes 4 times
- 1080° LED Flashes 5 times
- Notes:
- Changing the angle of rotation manually does not permanently save the change = you must repeat the procedure each time the game restarts or when wheel is unplugged.
- This tip will not function properly in some games (such as GRAN TURISMO 7) which adjust or modify the angle of rotation at startup or at the restart of each race, according to the type of car being used.
- ---Invert Pedals:
- # Hold MODE + L3 + R3 for 5 seconds for pedals inversion.
- When the pedals are successfully inversed, the LED flashes once every 8 seconds.
- ---Re-calibrating the racing wheel's center value:
- (If the racing wheel is slightly off-center in the Control Panel)
- - If using a PS4 / PS5, we recommend performing this procedure in the PS4 / PS5
- system's menu (not in a game).
- - If using a PC, we recommend performing this procedure via the Windows Desktop (not in a game), after exiting the Control Panel.
- 1) Connect the racing wheel's USB cable, then wait for the auto-calibration phase to end.
- 2) Turn the racing wheel fully to the left (until you reach the stop).
- 3) Turn the racing wheel fully to the right (until you reach the stop).
- 4) Make sure that your racing wheel is perfectly centered ; while holding it in this position, press the: SHARE (SE) + OPTIONS (ST) + MODE buttons simultaneously
- 5) The racing wheel's LED briefly changes colour, then reverts to its initial colour. This means that the wheel's center value has been reset and automatically saved to the device's internal memory (you do not need to repeat the procedure every time you connect the racing wheel)
- ---Switching between PS4 mode and PS5 mode:
- # Press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds to update PS4 mode (ORANGE LED) to PS5 mode (RED LED).
