Ok since some people seem to have gotten the wrong impression from my post earlier, I want to clarify a few things:
I'm not leaving the general for good. I'm just taking a break from drawing 2k related content in december and maybe a bit into the new year, we will see about that. I apologize to those that feel mislead or even manipulated, it was not my intention and I hope you won't resent me for it.
Now there are mainly two reasons for taking a break: Lately I've almost exclusively drawn 2k content. It takes too much time and detracts from realizing my own works. Also it makes me feel like im stagnating as an artist. So for now I've decided to shift my focus away from 2k related works. Secondly I've been unhappy with how the atmosphere in the general has changed.
It used to be a place that I had fun interacting with. But lately I feel the general has become very hostile and toxic in the last 1 or 2 months. Specifically the constant complaining about Tom has gotten to me. Now before you call me a zealot I want to say that, while he's certainly not without his flaws, he still inspires me artistically.
And that's still more than I can say about most other people. He has inspired me to draw 2k fan art which I enjoy and I hope you enjoyed too. But ever since almost any post of Tom's art results in endless discussions about his work ethics, I can't post mine without feeling dread that I'll spark another comment chain about how he's the worst and by proxy, I'm a shill too.
So yeah that's about it, I'm taking a break and I'm sorry for the misleading post earlier.
