- There are obviously a lot of ways you can approach upgrades with umbrella. Magic only? Magic + Strength? Lots of soul orbs or fewer? Maybe Dex is actually worth? This route is probably pretty close to, if not optimal. This route follows fairly closely what high-str any% does for soul gathering, with a slight change since you need slightly less soul early. Given the lower power level of umbrella, I imagine the higher soul gathering route probably makes the most sense. In my experimentation, the different upgrade paths (2 str / 2 mag vs 3 mag early) make little difference. But please try out different combos for yourself and see what works well for you!
