Voidstay Serum

So, this is it, is it? This is going to be my magnum opus, I suppose. The page from this book that most of you will read is this one, because it's going to contain something that will overshadow everything I've ever done. Because, of course, it tantalizingly offers you something that almost everyone wants: More time.

But there's no humor in this topic. I don't have any comedic anecdotes about my trials in getting this potion together. It was a lifelong battle with alchemy that I hesitate to call 'victorious'.

This is Voidstay Serum, a potent life-extending serum concocted from a variety of exceedingly rare ingredients. Ultimately, I discovered in all my work that Ichor is capable of reading symbolism just like we are. Among the exhaustive ingredients of this potion are one human eye taken exclusively from the subject of the Serum, six diamonds of extreme cut and quality, and the heart of another.

... all for one more century on this wretched planet.

I know people will find important uses for this serum, and so I cannot hide it in good faith. It constitutes the cure for untold ailments, and keeps the gears of fate turning in your favor for a fair length of time, all in exchange for a lot of worldly sacrifices; sacrifices of yours, and another's.

The most important ingredient in this potion is certainty. Be certain that this potion is what you want, and what you need, before you ever start the path towards its creation. Sure, a wavering hand will concoct a potion just as effective... but they'll be left with unfathomable guilt when the bottle is empty in front of them.
