- [15:10] As fate may have it, wounds of the flesh were the ones he were most adapt at handling. Work arounds were a constant for him, so a part of Leonidas is relieved when Jude came to him with this particular sort of injury.
- "Okay. The veins will heal over time, but the damaged circuits and ruined flesh are my biggest concern with this, so..."
- A box of what appears to be human skin is pulled out from beneath Leonidas' bed. There were few who knew about his faux-flesh creating machine out in the desert, but he'd preferred to keep it that way for now.
- "Robin, come here." Jude's shirt is unbuttoned, so he could get a clear look at the patience chest. Jude had been hit with lightning, so the electrical burns were fairly severe. "Normally during a skin craft you'd take skin from another part of the body, and transfer it elsewhere. We're skipping that step."
- So long as he lived she'd always be able to skip that step.
- "So, all we're going to be doing is removing the damaged flesh and replacing it with something...well, a bit like flesh but a bit more durable."
- The divine archive is pulled from his pocket, it's a small cube with ancient runes to anyone unknowing of it's true purpose. He runs his digit along a few of the leylines, and his side manifests a small table with surgical tools and vials.
- One of those vials is grasped, lax essence, and uncorked. A needle is plunged in, and once a sizeable amount is extracted, it's taken and plunged into Jude's chest.
- "Some would suggest anesthesia, but I try to avoid that at all cost. Injected this will numb him to the point to where he can't feel any pain, at least."
- He reaches for a scalpel, waiting for the essence to fully kick in.
- "I want you to pay close attention to what I'm doing, and once I'm done- you'll be the one applying the stitching."

- [15:17] The girl came wandering into the dorm, pausing and staring over towards Leonidas's room. She scurried over at his call, going to lean in and stare at Jude. She squinted, the electrical burns obvious.
- "Oh, jeez. What happened? Actually, tell me later." She leaned back, going to nod her head. "Alright, so basically you take the damaged skin and graft better... 'Skin' to it? Is that what I'm getting at?" She glanced at the Divine Archive rather curiously, before turning back forward.
- "Oh, well. As long as no pain is involved for 'im, I suppose that'd be useful." She crossed her arms, stepping away but keeping a very close eye on what was going on.
- "I'm watchin',"She murmured, eyes focusing on Jude.

- [15:17] Mayhaps sedated (?) as he were, there was a sense of consciousness that remained upon the Cirque's visage. Loopy, yet listening.
- What had been the preliminary steps would only be left as a blur.
- "Hrm." And yet, whatever dosage that was injected into his form had left him not completely delirious. What was supposedly a painful experience soon almost feels like a mere scrape; numbed to the pain, at least for now.
- Not that there was any reason to complain, most especially as such only gave him all the more reason to gaze upon what had been transpiring within his chest cavity.
- To observe and study the medical formulas and tactics imposed upon his own body.
- An odd way to learn, sure, yet to learn is to learn.
- From the far end of the bed, steel blues watch Leonidas' hands intently. The surgeon at work be provided with not just a single figure in the audience, but two.

- [15:30] Once the lax essence had time to settle, he takes a scalpel and begins to carefully peel away the damaged flesh. Each movement is precise, making sure to take only skin, no muscle or stars forbid what lies beneath that. As scarred and dead flesh is removed, it's tossed into a nearby bucket with a flick of the wrist.
- He deliberately makes sure that the scalpel never touches anything beyond the patients skin, not wishing to unsterilized it. "First you'd normally collect skin, cover it in dressing, and then get to removing the dead flesh. Since we already have flesh..."
- Leonidas would trail off for a time. With each scrap Jude could likely feel the pressure of the scalpel despite the numbness in his chest. Thankfully modern medicine allowed for the removal of pain through herbal remedies, or Jude would be having quite the terrible time...
- As this scrapping goes on for what feels like hours.
- Once the flesh is removed, Leonidas sets the scalpel aside and takes a deep breath. A sheet of synthetic flesh is taken from the box and laid upon Jude's chest. Another scalpel, one with a thicker blade, is thusly used to cut off excess synthetic skin. Once cut proper, he'd step back.
- "Sew the synth flesh in. Make sure to do the sutures proper to avoid any bacteria getting in, and to avoid an unsightly scar around the new flesh."
- He'd take this time to enjoy a small break, opting to move and make preparations for the final step of this procedure, while giving Robin the opportunity for a bit of hands on experience.

- [15:34] This was sort of gross to watch, in all honesty. She was glad she learned to get a stronger stomach after so much time. if she were younger and more naïve, she'd likely have thrown up.
- But! She did not, and would not. Instead, she nodded her head a few times, to show that she was actually learning.
- Watching the synthetic flesh begin to be cut, she blinked a few times and pointed at herself, as if wondering if he really meant for her to actually help. Sure, she'd done some medical work before, but it was rather amateur. Wouldn't it be better for him to do it?
- Chewing at her lip, she looked back forward and shifted over, going to pick up the utensils required for this sort of thing. "Well uh, I'll try. I'm not gonna promise it's th'perfect suturing ever." She laughed awkwardly.
- THen, she went to work. Her stitching was, as she stated, not the most perfect thing in the world. They weren't unsightly, but they took a long time because of her attempts to be as precise as possible. Not to mention she had to take a minute once or twice to calm her shaking hands.
- Once it was done, though, she tied and cut the last one, before stepping away, glancing at Leonidas.

- [15:38] The experience, on the patient's side, was almost too surreal of an experience to simply idle by. To feel flesh and skin move and be stripped, and yet the pain was mostly absent had been a mind quivering sensation.
- He could feel his body be fiddled with, and yet at the same time, he could not.
- Perhaps the short spurt he had in Barsburg allowed him to know of this technique's existence; however he had only realized what it truly was now that he was within its receiving end.
- Of course, the occasional flinch and hum was no surprise to come up. Aimed to study medicine by allowing your own body to be the subject was clearly not something one should haphazardly witness with ease.
- Hence, upon the early stages of suturing, there was a needed pause from him from observing what had begun to transpire from his body.
- Somethin akin to 'if you can't see it, it can't hurt you' type of thing.
- He had learned enough prior, mayhaps just this phase was enough to bypass without missing out too much on anything else.

- [15:47] "If you make any awful mistakes I'll fix it, but this isn't really something you can learn just by watching."
- As she stitched away, he'd lay out dressing, wraps, and rubbing alcohol. While it takes her a bit of time to finish, she isn't chided nor is she given any complaints. The stitching is beyond passible, so he merely states "Good work," and moves to return to Jude's side.
- Hydrofiber dressing is used to cover the newly acquired skin, and promptly wrapped in bandages. This, often enough required lifting Jude to slide the roll of bandaging beneath him, but...
- "Alright. You should be taken care of. The skin in place is the same flesh used to make Barsburgian synthetics. I'll...show you how I've gotten ahold of that, later."
- He'd awkwardly at back of his neck.
- (Leonidas ven Grimmore)

- [15:57] She shifted back, rubbing at her hands now that they were free. She seemed to be jittery, but smiled nonetheless.
- "Thanks,"She murmured to the simple, small amount of praise. Shifting to step back a little bit more, the girl sighed and huffed. "Man I'd never make it as a medic, I swear." A chuckle, she cleared her throat.
- "How ya' feeling, Jude?"
- (Robin Acolyte)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:58] From a deep breath would the final notions of the process be accomplished by Robin. The trickling sensations of pricks and the final tug upon the sutures would soon signify the coming end.
- Only upon the finalizing layer of bandages would Jude finally shift from within his spot on the bed; aching but numb.
- "Grh." The first words was a mere garble, still dazed and loopy from the numbing agent imposed upon his form. "Guh… thanks."
- Originally not one to frequently speak already, the bits of appreciation offered had been already set forth without need for anything else.
- He sits up, slowly as to avoid any unwanted wounds from reopening. The bed was comfortable, yet there was a need to move at the very least. "Barsburg stuff..." A mere mention, only passing whatever questions he had whence his form was less aching.
- "I think... I should be good," he replies as he glances pasts Leo and toward Robin. "Not the best feelin', but definitely better than before." In time, he'll get used to it.
- (Jude Cirque)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:04] "With a bit of practice you'd do fine."
- A deep breath is taken and he moves next to Robin. His back touches the wall and he slumps down it, leaning against her leg a bit. "Welcome. Let me know if something else happens."
- Leonidas' shoulders slump. He's at his breaking point. Between the work invested into the boots, the other trivial happenings, and now this? He's grown incapable of showing his exhaustion.
- "Be careful for a few days, shouldn't take long for your real skin and it to merge."
- (Leonidas ven Grimmore)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:06] Jude Cirque says, "I'll take note of this."
