LIsten to the conversation and take 30 seconds to prepare a response. Then say your response to your partner.

Integrated reading/listening task:
45 seconds to read something
listen to part of a conversation or lecture
30 seconds to prepare your response to the question
60 seconds to speak

Your response should have an “introduction”, which summarizes the information you read.
Then answer the question asked (what is the man’s opinion? Why?)

The Campus Situation task is about an announcement of an event or program on a university campus and listening to part of a conversation between students.
The Academic task is about an academic topic (like a reading from a textbook) and listening to part of a lecture.
