- [21:39] Waking up as early as ever in his time, Boreas stood attentive. Moving through the corridors of his home as he readied himself for the day. Taking care of his hygiene before throwing on a fresh patch of clothes.
- On cue, as he entered the main living space Amadeus was already there. "Thank you for taking the time to come back at this time." Yawning out loud with his arms outstretched. "I guess my letter made it to you on time." The miracles of sending a letter through a wide-range of methods never ceased to amaze him, every day being more thankful for the advancement of technology.
- "I believe I've made a connection with the chunk of Tyrium, but it's a bit strange. But it feels more refined than before if I'm being honest." he called as he moves towards the dining area.
- (Boreas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:48] Amadeus received that letter rather quickly and made sure to come towards Boreas for the finishing touches of his weapon. After all, the only thing left was to make the axe bladed part.
- Coming in, Amadeus gave a soft nod, letting Boreas explain the hole connection bit with him about the Tyrium. After all, the aspect of it was simply getting more information on how to accurately make Cold Iron without killing a person. Actively making the metal more 'submissive' by channeling and then 'controlling' mana made it a little easier, Amadeus felt like he could make it faster if not safer in some way.
- Maybe it would be possible to create a machine or device to do this passively. But another thought for later.
- Instead, Amadeus nodded towards Boreas.
- "Well in anycase, Its better to have you keep doing what you have. That way the final product will be more attuned to you as a whole. Though, over all, I doubt it will be alive and listen to only you, but many only those of your magic can use it, similar to how I made my gun before Osrona took it."
- (Amadeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:04] "The final product being attuned towards those who share the magical affinity as me?" he paused, thinking about the intricacy's of the creation that was being made before their eyes. "I'd actually prefer it to be that way. Though, having it connected to my bloodline would be amazing. I feel like having it be able to be used by anyone who holds a strong sense of will. A burning ambition of what it means to be a Dragon and wields the same kind of magic I do."
- Though, he'd prefer it to be a magi who mastered Ice magic like himself and embodied the path of a Dragon. It didn't have to only be fitted towards Drakanite, but any who moved as such.
- Raising his pal outwards, an orb of mana expelled from his hand into a condensed form. "Having it binded towards this mountain would be pointless anyway." A calamity could destroy it, or it would self destruct from it's own people. But if the Axe itself could tell who wasworthy enough to wield it. That would be perfect for him. If a lord who proceeded him used it for other means? He probably wouldn't be able to rest in the afterlife either.
- "Now then, do I aim to strength my bond with the refined chunk again? Or what?" asking for further assistance as he moved the orb towards the core of Tyrium to start fueling it's pure material.
- (Boreas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:09] Amadeus says, "Yes, though when it comes to the weapon, it'd be far easier to bind it to where those who align with ice can wield your weapon. Binding it to your family or this faction will require something else more powerful. This just ensures that its not easy to use it. But try to send your mana into the chunk while I work on it into it's final shape."
- [22:26] Nodding towards the words of Amadeus, Boreas moved to further his connection with the refined chunk of Tyrium. Continuing to push his mana into it as a stream. Feeling his essence funnel into it's core smoothly while turning it throughout it's core.
- Once again, he felt his very life being ripped apart. His very body pulling against itself as he continued to pour more of his mana into it.
- It's draw grew immediate this time around, feeling it's fueled essence continually draining his mana before burning into his leylines. "What the-"
- Blinking back the pain as he fell to his knee. His eyes grew wide, shocked at the intense pull as he felt his mana circuits shut down almost completely. Holding him down as it's pain broke into his body. Freezing him immobile as his hand remained against it's firm surface. Panic ran across his visage as he felt his entire force become removed. Creating a new feeling as his wings vanished form his rear.
- He couldn't use mana.
- The violet hues of the chunk turned into a more obsidian colored nature, and the blues of the metal become less dominant and notable, making it look almost like a darker coloration of Iron.
- "I..." He was speechless, only looking further into the chunk of ore.
- (Boreas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:03] Amadeus looked towards the chunk of Tyrium, seemingly watching the mess turn into it's darker color as the third iteration of his mana being poured in made itself well known. For that was just enough to do something with the ore.
- It wasn't perfect, but there was major change. From this change, the young man would fell that power slowly growing and then eventual sapping away as Amadeus started to shape the chunk of metal in his palms. It would take Amadeus some time to actually shape the blade, but he'd eventually do so, making a blunted version of an axe's shape, yet heavy.
- The end result was an obsidian based material that Amadeus made into a single piece, moving to hold it and fit it with the other half of the weapon. However, Amadeus pulled a small portion of that metal off, only to set it off to the side for a moment.
- From there, Amadeus placed the blunt axe head on the staff from before, keeping it in place and used his Fire and Metalmagic to sear and keep the blunted axe part set. Whilst cooling, Amadeus grabbed a bit of Adamantite, using it to fill the gap on the axe and even give it a rather rough outline near the central point. Yet due to the Blue mercury, it wouldn't weight more, and when Amadeus barely used any that is.
- "Alright, the axe head is on. Now I just need to inscribe it with runes amd do one other thing and it will be complete"
- Amadeus kept his person heated due to his magic, but keeping his word he grabbed that unmalting Ice, taking it and cracking it with the edge of the blade, forcing it to cover the edge with itself as fragments chip off, letting it forcibly set as a cover to the dullned axe head. This in turn will keep the blunt edges cold, yet Blue mercury would be used to set it like before.
- For it's runes, Amadeus went with a bit of a Viking like appearance, giving it runes that symbolized the opposite of fire- water. It was relatively simple whenhe knew the runes already, studying them in time and taking that to a higher level with the runes from his youth being used.
- From that point, the runes would be centralized around 'connect', 'return', Ice, flowing, and continuum. With that, Amadeus actually made a bit of a wristband to use to finish the connection.
- In hindsight, Amadeus' attempt to 'connect' the two came from the anti-magic collar's wireless connetion and operated on a button to do what the person wanted. So, he took that concept and made it simply just that, a button that called the weapon back from a distance. Not to mention the flow of water and ice that made the weapon free ever so often.
- "Your weapon needs to set for a while. Keep pouring mana into the whole thing for another few days and then you can use it I believe."
- (Amadeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:13] The embrace was long, only before Amadeus took it from him. Holding it on their own to finally mold and create the chunk into their own ideal image. Melding it as he began to shape it with their own two hands. Forging it into a blunted version of an axe's blade.
- In the end, the sight itself ignited a fire within it's very frame. Shining with an obsidian based material Amadeus curated.Moving it into a piece with the other half of the weapon.
- Boreas could only watch in amazement as he was finally able to finally regulate his mana with his freedom from the chunk. Allow them to view the spectacle that laid out before him.
- From Amadeus placing the blunt axe head on top of the base of Rig's Rattle, the project continued. Watching them shape the unmalting ice into the edge of the blade. Covering it with the frost that was contained from within, granting it a pristine edge with an everlasting froze of the cold iron axe head. Cooling it over with blue mercury that quickly tuned towards the everlasting frost. Runes quickly adorned it's appearance, giving it symbols which of some that he could decipher, runes etched in a manner of a Viking. Blessed with the element of water that he held so close to his heart.
- Time passed on as the creation continued to mold at Amadeus's will. Devices adding onto the creation as Boreas remained gathering his strength from sitting near the sidelines.
- Eyeing it cautiously as his breath slowly regulated towards it's normal nature. Watching the project come to a near finish until Amadeus finally brought the weapon towards him in a near completed form.
- "Keep pouring mana into it in a similar way that I had done for the Tyrium?" he riddled as he held his hands out to catch the weapon from their grasp.
- "I'll definitely work on such a task. Once again Amadeus, thank you for your aid." Graciously nodding their way before taking the weapon from their grasp. Holding it close as he begun the process right away, feeding it slowly with the mana he managed to gather back from his near death state.
- (Boreas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:19] Amadeus nodded, but remembering, he'd come to grab the axe from Boreas, grabbing those Dragon's teeth, using them to adore it on the bone staff with that Nyshek on it already. It was just something simple to be added on, but it was adored by being connected with the other bones.
- "There, now just keep feeling your mana into it. Sometimes it might sting."
- Amadeus learned a few things from this, but he'd come to remind himself later for more practical use over all.
- "Keep working hard"
- (Amadeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:42] "Oh, yes. Of course."
- His greedy little fingers released the axe towards Amadeus, extending towards their reach as they made lasting touches towards it's base before handing it back towards the Dragonlord.
- "I definitely well. Thank you again for your hard work Amadeus, it is greatly appreciated." nodding his head, he welcomed his new gift. Coming to hold it firmly within his hands as he started to merge his mana into it. Furthering the bond between the two that was already established.
- "I'll be sure to make great work of this weapon, I can guarantee you this."
- (Boreas)
