  6.
  7. Right then, Spinesreach.
  8.
  9. Couple of things. First of all, I am looking for some tapestries to be
  10. designed for the Citadel. I am after bold, inspiring designs to
  11. encourage Spirean pride, and participation with the Peregrine Cadre and
  12. the Spirean militia. If you fancy yourself handy at designing things,
  13. please do have a go and send me what you come up with in a letter- good
  14. designs will be rewarded. This request is open to all citizens, by the
  15. way- you do not have to be handy with a needle and thread yourself to
  16. participate.
  17.
  18. I am also thinking about organising a sale event, for the spires. All
  19. shops have various bits and bobs that just don't sell- if you are a
  20. shopkeeper interested in putting your dust-collecting wares into a city
  21. jumble sale (that will hopefully encourage traffic to the other shops in
  22. the city) please let me know in a message or letter so I can gauge
  23. potential numbers.
  24.
  25. Finally, I have had a few people come to me with potential ideas for
  26. events- I have responded to each, but the long and the short of it is,
  27. if you have an idea for an event or initiative for the Spires, plan it
  28. out and let me know, and we can work toward making it a reality.

  40. Subj: Re: The Ministry of Culture
  41.
  42. It does my heart good to read the previous post. However, I'm afraid
  43. that I must ask a few questions that rest on several citizens minds.
  44.
  45. Those of us that have sent you ideas via letters or messages, I think
  46. I'm one of the few that has ever obtained a response of any sort. And
  47. I've not receieved a response from you in some while regarding possible
  48. event activities. Further, I sent you ideas for the tapestries that
  49. would be 'filed away' for later use, as which was the response to
  50. several of my idea letters, where I wrote out the detailed progression
  51. of how each event would play out.
  52.
  53. In no way do I mean disrespect, but I am hoping to see more activity
  54. coming from the Ministry of Culture very soon. I have been anxious and
  55. worried - the low worries of a citizen, but still a worry - no?

  61. ^This is basically bullshit. The only people who had made any sort of complaint were Larissa and Ishin, who speaks when Larissa says speak. They pissed in Yusri's ear about it, yaaay.

  68. Subj: Re: Concerns
  69.
  70. It comes as something of a surprise to me that there is apparently such
  71. issue with the Ministry. Aside from your own complaints, which I'd heard
  72. about from the Ard, I have not received any news of people being wracked
  73. with such anxiety. If there are indeed many people who are upset, I
  74. highly encourage them all to get in contact with me- I will be happy to
  75. discuss any anxieties you may have in regard to Culture in Spinesreach.
  76.
  77.
  78. So that there is no question that I am, in fact, replying to suggestions
  79. and messages that people are sending me, I will do so here, while my
  80. quill is wet. Your complete rewrite of a project I was already planning
  81. was appreciated for the effort, which is why I said that I would hang
  82. onto it, but you'll forgive me for not immediately putting it into play
  83. as, with your additions, it was no longer the type of event I had been
  84. planning to run. As for your ideas for some manner of cultural gala or a
  85. quiz, they were both very light-on for details, and thus not ready for
  86. enacting- if you would like to see what an appropriately detailed plan
  87. looks like, you should get into contact with Faerah, who has recently
  88. planned an event and received my approval to enact it.
  89.
  90. This recommendation also extends to other citizens who wish to do their
  91. part for morale and interactions within the city- the more detailed your
  92. proposal, the easier and quicker it will be to get it approved and in
  93. the works.
  94.
  95. In other news, a conversation with an interested citizen recently has
  96. brought me to the realisation that, while I had not considered the
  97. possibility previously, the brewing contest I am considering (mentioned
  98. in ad 1435 on the market) could potentially be opened to all those who
  99. want to have a crack at putting together drinks, not just those who have
  100. the technical skill to brew them. If you consider yourself to fall under
  101. that description, let me know in a message so I can gauge potential
  102. numbers.
  103. Once again, I urge all those with questions or concerns to get in
  104. contact with me.
