  1. Jump #351: Wuxia
  2. Ah, the Generic that preceded Generics.
  3. >The Tower, reversed: A new lifestyle and enlightenment.
  4. >Age: 21
  5. >Location: Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain
  6. Joy, I'm right in the middle of the Tang dynasty. And there are vampires running around. Greeeeat.
  7. >Identity: Drop-In
  8. >Drawbacks: (+500) Celestial Audit, Rebel Spirit, Ascetic
  9. Well, I'm probably not the only one that the celestial court is griping at. And it probably helps nothing that I'm running along beside a soldier who defected, so they assume the same of me.
  10. >Drunken Fist (Free, Drop-In)
  11. This works well as a fighting style, if I'm not in a serious fight.
  12. >The Art of Yun-Woo (1200)
  13. A fighting style that relies on thrown weapons and projectiles. This would prove most useful if I wasn't averse to anachronism, but even throwing knives are sufficient.
  14. >Adaptability (800, Drop-In)
  15. If I can ensure that my unarmed fighting is as effective against non-humans as it is against humans, and if I can ensure that I can fight as effectively in non-human forms as I can in human forms... who am I to say no?
  16. >Rakansen (0)
  17. Actually, all considered, if this is combined with Yun-Woo, suddenly everything I throw is much, MUCH deadlier. Let's forget throwing knives. I'm going to use marbles, pebbles, and needles.
  18.
  19. Ending up roped into the plot of something going on is not something new to me, of course. But having to help the heroes (ragtag as they might be) stop an Elder Evil type vampire and get the only weapons that can defeat him. Which is rather fun.
  20.
  21. My role basically comes down to dealing with the fallout - I'm strictly in a supporting role and making sure that none of the other nonsense that would come down on their heads impedes them significantly. Flicking pebbles and marbles at people to distract them or knock them out is an effective way, and when it comes down to the demons... well, any that Ti and Yi Chen can't deal with, I can. I'm not going to unleash my full power, but being a wandering type who is seemingly unarmed and harmless is a good way to blend in.
  22.
  23. Of course, the fun part of this? If it's not done in seven weeks, the world's basically doomed.
  24.
  25. Nothing like the fun of a deadline looming overhead!
