Its a genuine worry still that I may be below average in regards to my intelligence. I always have done really poor with math and i'm absolutely dogsh when it comes to logic/pattern recognition puzzles. I've never had too much trouble with writing but I feel that's a bit of a cop-out in terms of owning up to my lackluster brain power.
And any time I begin reading about improving your mental strength I come to find out that it's pretty much 80% genetic if you didn't have a third world upbringing, so I'm pretty much boned.

Oh, I'd trade being socially retrded if I could have some decent critical thinking skills and abstract thinking. It doesn't seem so bad at first, but when I compare something that I'VE done to something someone else has done, I realize how ultimately mediocre my creations are in comparison to others.
Any time I try and talk to MENSA/High IQ people online about improving my mental abilities, they always tell me "lol its okay to be stupid, you don't need to be smart to be successful" as if that's supposed to make me feel any better or that it even answered my original question.

Well as someone who is blessed to have good crit thinking skills. They probably don't actually know why or how they're smart. For me, it was just something I was born with and was always a part of me.

I don't have a tradeoff. I'm just mediocre across the board. I'm only slightly creative at most, which is frustrating because creativity is the only thing I have the mental and emotional care for these days.
