Something metal landed at Creighton's boots and rattled to a stop.
A gas canister. He seized it and tried to throw it skyward. Too late-it exploded into billowing yellow gas. He screamed as his eyes burned and choked as he inhaled the sulfurous clouds. He felt the Jedi lose their connection in the Force one by one, as pain lanced through him.
Momentary relief came when someone poured a liquid onto his face.
He spat out the acrid remedy that ran from his eyes to his mouth. When he blinked, his eyesight was partially blurred, but he got back up.
