- The Batman has returned after a 10-year absence. The Gotham authorities want to arrest him. An old foe wants a reunion. The Feds want the Man of Tomorrow to put a stop to him.
- After a 10 year absence, the Dark Knight has returned to Gotham to fight the Mutant threat. After defeating the mutants, he has taken control of a gang loyal to him in order to make Gotham a safer place. But, the Joker has decided to stop this, and fights against Batman in a deadly duel. Meanwhile, the Man of Steel is ordered to stop the Dark Knight because the government believes that his ways are wrong. As Batman fights the Joker, the Man of Steel prepares for his greatest fight.
- I had a really hard time believing that Part II would be better than Part I, I was wrong. This movie was packed from start to finish and I never found myself even the slightest bit bored.<br/><br/>The first part with the Joker could have been a movie by itself. It felt like over 1 hour of the movie had passed at that point, but in a good way. I was really excited from the ending of Part I when the Joker did his "B-B-B-Batmaaan, daaaarling" thing. The Joker was portrayed in a good way by the way he acted and talked throughout the movie. <br/><br/>One thing I did not like and that I didn't like from the first one either is how the new Robin is played. <br/><br/>I had some doubts about the Superman part, but it turned out really great and I love how the battle between them turned out, especially the ending!<br/><br/>Overall an awesome movie!
- This is a spoiler-free review, so don't worry xD.<br/><br/>This movie depends on how much you enjoyed the FIRST part. Let's see, while many of us found it amazing with very good fight sequences , some viewers were left disappointed .. <br/><br/>Well, this movie covers it all - good story line (10/10), action- packed (Boy, the action sequences are THE best.. 10/10) and EPIC fight scenes - I had to watch batman vs joker and batman vs superman because it was AWESOME, it took animation to another level. <br/><br/>Below, are few answered questions. <br/><br/>Violence? YUP!! lots of blood during fight scenes, might be disturbing and scary for young viewers and throwing batarangs in the eyeball kinda stuff.... (8.5/10, they can reduce the violence because there will mostly be only young viewers)<br/><br/>Good sequel? Absolutely ! Animation was Perfect, and if you are a DC or a bat fan, you will love it!! (10/10)<br/><br/>So guys, This movie is epic! You'll love it !! <br/><br/>Note - Batman vs Superman:Dawn of justice is slightly based on this movie. You'll find out why when you have finished watching the movie.<br/><br/>Hope my review helped :)
- The budgets for the DC Universe Animated Original Movies only allow for films of about 70 to 75 minutes in length. The graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns is long enough that it couldn't be adapted as a single animated film without seriously compromising the original story.
