  1. Personally, I find this research topic important as it's a matter pertaining to the environment, OUR environment. The health of the environment is deteriorating, every single second, and we may not be able to stop it completely, but we can at least slow it down by reducing our carbon footprint. Carbon footprint refers to the amount of carbon dioxide we emit from the activities we've done, and so far, we Singaporeans have emitted much (https://data.gov.sg/dataset/climate-change-and-energy-carbon-dioxide-emissions-from-combustion-of-fossil-fuels?view_id=abb20b0a-c823-4423-a4c1-f64c939ab68f&resource_id=aa650271-7c04-4705-a1ba-9f0467aef3e9).

  3. I recognize the efforts some people have been making in order to save the environment, but I don't think it would be enough to save the earth from its inevitable destruction via global warming, climate change, etc. I don't think everybody in the human population is doing their part to save the planet we call 'home', and I would think the remaining members of my group would say the same thing in their own answers to this question, not that we're copying off each other or anything.
