  16. Okay, maybe it’s silly to complain but… I really wanted to learn magic on this journey. I was promised by Merlin himself I would get to but I guess that’s not happening yet.
  17.
  18. Another super hero world, it’s funny I always wanted to be a super hero, wear a cool costume and save people. Maybe it’s the weight of years though. It just doesn’t seem to be the best way to save people anymore. I proved it in Gotham. Unless I am some godlike powered being fighting natural disasters or alien invasions I can maybe save dozens of people whereas working with science I can save a lot more. I can even have robots and employees handle the minor street crime. Logic Suuucks.
  19.
  20. Well, Yet another world, another company to run. This is my life now. In this world I am a hot shot prodigy. You know the type graduated collage at 10, got my PHD at 12 and started my own business at 15. 2 years later I am doing alright but just alright because I was getting by on brains alone.
  21.
  22. Maybe in this life I was a little arrogant or perhaps it was my propensity to do everything on my own but I had managed to get in a lab accident. However instead of being killed or horribly maimed I had gotten spider powers out of it. Got to love comic worlds, Consequences of terrible choices, what are those? Have some super powers.
  23.
  24. The first thing I did was release the cure for cancer. I figured that was my standard opening move at this point. Another Nobel Prize wouldn’t hurt business.
  25.
  26. So I was back to being a super star… yay. That means a lot more boring parties, fake smiles and time wasted.
  27.
  28. The thing about it was, not only was I CEO of one Company but my old Robot and Power Armor company from the last world was here too. My little biotech company however was exploding.
  29. I figured since I was expanding I would make some hires of a few key people.
  30.
  31. I hired Dr. Otto Octavius. The man was brilliant; he wanted to do his fusion reactor. I just wanted to make sure he didn’t have the accident that killed his wife and turned him in to a super villain, I helped a bit with his designs for his Harness.
  32.
  33. I made another hire. I paid Peter Parker a rather extravagant sum to become my assistant.
  34.
  35. He was reluctant at first he was reluctant and suspicious it seemed a little at random and too good to be true. I brought up not only was he brilliant and frankly wasted as a photographer but he seemed to have a connection to Spiderman whom I had an interest in. He was less than thrilled to learn that but he kind of needed the money.
  36.
  37. It’s funny because Neko-chan is teasing me about making some human friends for a change. The android cat girl I made from scratch suddenly thinks she’s my mom.
  38.
  39. In spite of a certain androids teasing I made an effort to be friends with Peter. He is a really nice guy and the world seems to take a certain joy on shitting on him. Unfortunately it’s too late to save Uncle Ben but I thought I could make things with Mary Jane easier.
  40.
  41. I would really like to say I gave some sage advice on how to win her heart but it was really “Hey, she already has the hots for you because you saved her a dozen times already.” To which he would tell me he couldn’t because knowing his identity might put her at risk. To which I suggested. “Hey here is an idea, give her the information and let her make the choice. It’s not your right to make that kind of decision for someone else.: I tell you life would be easier if I had more charisma perks. I could knock this out in a conversation but one thing about Spiderman, he is stubborn as a mule. So this was an ongoing project.
  42.
  43. I did however deal with the Green goblin. During one of his rampages where he was fighting and winning against Spiderman I showed up in costume with a few special gadgets and my Catgirl android guards. I used a gadget to fry the circuits in his suit, Spidey and the girls subdued him and I had them bring him back to my lab. I actually got a bit of being a super hero in. It felt good.
  44.
  45. Peter learned a few things about me like that I had powers too which led to having to answer some questions but I was able to within a few hours create a drug to counteract the mental abnormalities of the goblin serum.
  46.
  47. Norman woke up wondering what the hell was going on and why he was in strapped down, while initially he was… more than a little skeptical that he was the goblin, when I showed him the armor, he recognized it.
  48.
  49. He was a bit horrified (finding out you are a murderer does tend to do that to people.) however I assured him he wasn’t in his right mind. I assured him I wouldn’t tell anyone his secret. He left humbled.
  50.
  51. With that settled I went about doing something fun. I designed brain transplants in to cybernetic bodies, no longer were people limited to buying android cat girls, now they could be the android cat girl. Oh I suppose they could have younger healthier biological replacements for their previous bodies for those who were no fun but… there were soon a lot of cat girls, cat traps and cat girls with something extra around. Also there were fox girls, cybernetic angels and Cow Girls because I felt like expanding. It was an anime fans dream come true. In a related note I don’t have any more room in my warehouse for all this gold. I bought Australia just because it was a good tax write off.
