Plasmy's thoughts after KIRIN

It was originally planned that this story would be more canon-compliant. with Rin never getting involved with the Hakurei Shrine and just living on as a nurse in the village, which I originally showed in my now abandoned Gensokyo Journal fic. But things changed when I realized that would be... Too boring. So decided that in the future, Rin would get involved in Gensokyo's affairs during the events of EoSD!

...And then I made Rin become Sendai's trusted youkai extermination partner. Oops. Wouldn't make sense for Rin to just not care for Reimu after Sendai sacrifices herself to seal Rumia.

With that, I eventually settled on Rin adopting Reimu as a daughter and throwing out canonicity by expressing my own interpretations and headcanons with other characters. Welp. There goes canon compliance and at least two whole paper worths of a timeline.

Anything else... Ah, right. While I was doing this fic, someone told me about Imperfect Metamorphosis, a Rin Satsuki fic. Searched it up, saw it was on fanfic.net, and tried to read it but decided to just wait for the day it would get ported to AO3.

And then it came, so I was excited to finally read it. I got caught off-guard when the two central characters would be Rin and Rumia and was also a bit surprised that Rin and Eirin would be linked (Rin is thought to be a nurse thanks to Marisa, so I guess it makes sense for both characters to be related). Anyways, been loving it so far. TakerFoxx, if you're reading this, know that I've been enjoying it so far.

Last thing. I should probably state what piqued my interest in doing a Satsuki fic, and what caused me to be intrigued by her.
Blame it on LostWord. I'm not joking. At a certain point in the story, an Alternate Universe Reimu said that she once had a teammate, and the teammate was associated with an instrument. She gave the said instrument to the MC, and then theories began cropping up on the MC/Lossy being Satsuki, which can explain other things that were said about the MC. Interest in Satsuki sparked for some reason and it led me here.

Anyways. That's all I  have for now. The next time you might see me will either be in Alex and Perish's MOBA thing, or a zine project. I do, however, obviously have plans to do more. Reimu didn't have that dream between an angel and a demon breaking the shrine for no reason. But expect a one-shot and another fic before my own PC-98 retelling.
