  1. OOT Request
  2.
  3. Satan was deemed out of tier
  4.
  5. Imade: Cynical presented Satan as someone casually many times earth busting
  6.
  7. Ken: The lack of a rebuttal from Cynical and Crim really hurts any chance of Satan being deemed in tier. Some of the things that Ame brought up were OOT by themselves and in tandem with each other were quite damning. The thing that puts Satan undeniably over tier is the power copying, Ame suggests that Satan can copy Superman, with better skill, and an immunity to his heat vision. This is almost the definition of OOT.
  8.
  9. Ame Vs Cynical and Crim
  10.
  11. Imade:
  12.
  13. Ame and Andrew win, short story.
  14.
  15. Satan was deemed OOT, so I judged this match with him excluded.
  16.
  17. I have to give the formatting award to Ame, it was much easier to digest your responses with how sectioned and highlighted your points were. I'm also glad I didn't have to read calcs from you.
  18.
  19. Right off the bat Cynical opens up with how strong his characters were being solidly (or scaling) planetary with durability to boot. He claims his opponent's characters are either under tier or not specific, thus get defeated. A big issue I had here in retrospect, Cynical labels all the abilities and esoteric resistances for Satan only, none for the other characters which leaves a large hole in his opening with Satan gone.
  20.
  21.
  22. Ame then starts off labeling every single thing and things I don't even care about for his characters, but hey why not? However, what was most notable was how he highlighted his win conditions right at the top and start. I already know why his characters win and now he's proving to me why his characters win.
  23.
  24. Support and scans of all the scaling and feats for offense and defense for his characters.
  25.
  26. Speed (doesn't matter at all here really).
  27.
  28. Esoteric attacks that his opponent's characters don't have resistances to and even gear his team carries.
  29.
  30. He then compares the physicals of the teams and goes on to dismantle the feats of his opponent's characters.
  31.
  32. It's a powerful opener especially in comparison to Cynical's poor opening. Thankfully for Cynical, Crim takes over.
  33. Crim is really carry Cynical through this tourney honestly, I've enjoyed reading every one of his responses with how objective he tries to be. It's to such a degree it makes me question how to interpret scans.
  34.
  35. Either way, Crim doesn't really defend his characters until the end, he just goes on an attack to question the legitimacy and validity of his opponent's scans and feats.
  36.
  37. He states how the feats could be interpreted to be lesser (such as the moon feat for Kyle which could be read as Earth's moon's size and not Earth's size itself). At the same time he defends the esoteric durabilities of his characters.
  38.
  39. He ends it defending his characters and their feats leaving me favoring Crim's stance over his opponent's for now with how I now have his interpretations on his opponent's scans and feats.
  40.
  41.
  42. Ame moves from here defending his stances and characters, not much new.
  43.
  44. Honestly, I thought Ame had the best formatting and layout of attack, but Crim's attacks on validity and putting doubt in the reader's minds on his opponent's stance is exceptional. I really have seen Crim's responses as some of the best in the tourneys I've judged.
  45.
  46. The only reason I don't see Crim and Cynical winning is due to the numbers advantage in the end. 3 v 4 is a big gap to overcome, and Ame isn't wrong that his team has an esoteric advantage still.
  47.
  48. Thus I give the win to Ame and Andrew.
  49.
  50. It would easily be the other way around if Crim wasn't carrying Cynical imo and had a 4th character.
  51.
  52.
  53. I also hope Ame and Crim consider teaming up if another team-up tourney is ever done. Both of you are exceptional debaters with great methods of debating
  54.
  55. Ken:
  56.
  57. The fact that Satan was deemed OOT really hurts Cynical and Crim's argument making this a 3v4 from the get go. The fact that Ame put his win cons up front was a neat idea, that made it really easy to look back and see what exactly his points are getting at, because sometimes these debates are boring and go on for a bit too long. Crims defence of his characters in his response might be some of the best debating in this tournament, arguing against the wording of his opponents scans, and waiting until the end of his response to actually defend his character. Ame wins this mostly because of his esoteric advantages and this being a 3v4.
  58.
  59. All in all Ame and Andrew win this 2-0 since kerd cant be asked to judge.
