This is my first ecchi book, so I’ll be really happy if you like it.

My first original work… I’m so excited.
Everyone who follows me on Twitter probably knows this already, but the first adult book I ever wrote was on Touhou’s Komeiji Satori, and I’ve also drawn other characters, but for a long time I mainly drew Satorin. Even from here on out, I’m planning on making Satorin books for the usual event, but there are a lot of things I can’t draw since I’m limited to Satorin’s personality, so I had always said that I wanted to try something different once in a while. I’ve thought of 2 other future releases, but I can’t really find the motivation to draw them unless I really like them, so I thought it was a perfect time to make an attempt at an original work where I can do anything I want. That’s how this book came to be. It won’t be just limited to Satorin, but she’ll definitely be in the next two works that I’ll be writing, so they won’t really be original works.

That’s how Miu was born.

She’s a completely innocent, yet clever girl, who is completely opposite from Satorin. I thought of many different ideas while I was daydreaming and, before I realized it, I had already thought of a setting for her friends and family, so the world opened up before me. To tell the truth, I had originally planned to release another Satorin book for Yukicon, while adding the original work as a small bonus / test run, but once I started writing, I found myself wanting to work on the original book more, so I stopped caring about the number of pages I was writing and decided to write the thing I actually wanted to write as much as I possibly could. So, basically since this story was meant to be a test run, it’s only really half complete, but I managed to extend the number of pages to the usual amount. Also, there was supposed to be a scene where the protagonist meets Miu, which I was going to make the first book on that story include, but, as I went with the flow, this happened to come first. Depending on how well this book is received, I think the sequel will be about their encounter.

Character Introduction
Tachibana Miu (Tachibana Miu)
Height: 130 cm. 4th grade. Slightly smaller than average. An innocent, pure, and clever girl. She was curious about the self-proclaimed manga artist who moved into the same apartment as her, so she’s been hanging out in his house. Likes to draw.
Yusa Souta (Souta Yusa)
Height: 172 cm. A novice manga artist or something like that. He becomes attached to Miu after meeting her when he made his rounds after moving into his new apartment.
Tachibana Yuu (Yuu Tachibana)
Height: 145 cm. Second year of middle school. Miu’s older sister. The Tachibana family is all on the smaller side. She’s always spaced out. However, she’s also very observational. She’s also worried about her lack of emotion. Her relative, who works as an editor, relies on her sometimes as a model, but Yuu herself isn’t too interested in it.
Chomi (Actual Name: Chiyomi)
Heigh: 128 cm. 4th grade. Miu’s childhood friend since preschool. She seems to have an older brother in high school. Calm, but also likes doing things at her own pace.

I managed to finish drawing this! Ecchi books aren’t really my forte, so I’m always struggling through trial and error, but this had a different feeling to it than usual, so I had fun while writing it.
I made Miu’s character without too much of a struggle, and she was easy to draw. The only thing I was slightly concerned about was the height. I like drawing girls that are about middle school age, but it seemed that everyone who liked reading my books preferred elementary school girls. With Satorin, her height was pretty unstable, but I kept in mind that the main character in this original work was an elementary schooler. Since 130 cm seemed to be the trend for elementary school girls, I decided on that height. However, once I started drawing, I realized that there was too much of a difference between 130 cm and 172 cm~~~! After noticing that, I worked really hard to smooth out the unevenness between those heights. Though, I do like couples with a decent height difference!
	This time, I tried to add some realism to the location. I usually don’t pay that much attention to the background, but I tried harder to make it more realistic this time. Although, if I pay too much attention to it, then it just takes too long to draw and ends up burying the character inside of it, so, in the latter half of the book, it might not be as detailed. As I wrote in the intro, this really was supposed to be a half-written story, but I lengthened it out. Someone had said to me somewhere before: “I want ecchi books to have at least 2 orgasm scenes.” I was already conscious of this ever since I started drawing Satorin, but I try my best to add at least two orgasm scenes if possible. However, whenever that happens it does get a bit more difficult for me. I’m still wondering how I’m going to address that issue from here on out. I would like to build up the story to a single, large climax, but if that happens twice then it’ll be more difficult to achieve that. If the story flows naturally like that, it’s okay, but if it’s forced then I feel like it might feel very insufficient. It’ll be on my to-do list for the next time.
	If the reviews for this book turn out well, then I’m planning on continuing the making of the Miu-chan series. However, there are other girls in the story other than just Miu, so, even though the series will be focused on Miu, there will be others involved as well! Since it’s an original work, I’d like to do whatever I feel like doing with the story. It’s safe to say that the next story is confirmed to be about when the two meet, but, after that, I want to draw out a story involving the older sister as well. Her personality is completely different from Miu’s, and she’s a slightly odd child, but I like her nonetheless.
	Ah, I forgot to write something very important. I wanted to draw a story of mutual love, which I couldn’t do well with Satorin. It would be easier if a male character like that existed in the original work, but there wasn’t really a male character like that, and it’s very difficult to make up a character like that. That’s why I decided to make my own original work. Yeah.
