	[the cat stares at the building in front of them through exhausted eyes. they heave out a sigh, and then push themselves up with great effort, clenching their teeth.]
	[they trek slowly up the hill, approaching the front doors.]
	[a view from the porch, overlooking the hill and the distant mountains. the cat trudges closer.]
	[they climb laboriously up the front steps to the porch.]

	[sneaking up to the doors, ducking into a hole at the bottom of the right front door.]
	[the door opens up to a lobby of sorts, with a closed door on the left and right walls. climbing up the right wall is a staircase, winding around the back wall to a second floor. on the back wall are also some papers pinned to the boards and a mounted shelf, with a kind of coat hanging from a hook underneath. light shines down from the staircase.]
	[the cat stares, eyes adjusting to the light for a moment before perking up in wonder.]
	[they walk more enthusiastically now, climbing up the staircase.]
	[up at the end of the staircase; a railing surrounds the path to the stairs. at the wall opposite the staircase are hallways going to the left and right. the hallway to the left (the cat's right) is illuminated brightly.]
