ITT - I am confused, Zak..yesterday you told me to send the other ETL alert to CA-DBA, does this one NOT need to be sent to CA-DBA?
ME - ITT you should take this oportunity to make an informed decision.
ME - you should send it to oncall and CC the DBA's
ME - the windows team shoud be informed that there is a problem but the DBA's are goign to have to fix the issue.
ME - if there is indeeed a problem
ITT - I made the decision to escalate that alert that came thru
ITT - it sat there for about 20 minutes before anyone decided to take action on it
ME - that is all i ask.
