The following links feature the preferred versions of each game. Typically the most recent remake is the preferred version, although some would argue that the DS remakes lack the classic 8/16-bit art style of the original releases so I've included the originals in some cases. DQIV DS can now be played with party chat thanks to a patch by Concreted and further support by spiderfreak1011.

- Dragon Quest I + II [SFC]
The latest and most up-to-date version of the English Dragon Quest I + II SFC translation is Rod Merida's. It includes fixes to game-breaking bugs and some translation errors. Pre-patched ROM with de-splash below.

Take the file from "main.106.com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4" and place it into the Obb. What I forgot to mention was that you needed to carry the file to "com.sqauare_enix.and " So it should be something like this.
ANDROID >OBB > com.sqauare_enix.and, THEN you place "main.106.com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4" into the square enix folder.*

For 3DS and DS I recommend you hack your 3DS and play the games that way. You can also emulate NES and SNES games on it.

That's enough to play 3DS games, but to play DS ROMs on your 3DS you need to follow a few more simple steps:
1. Download the 7z file here: https://github.com/Robz8/DSiMenuPlusPlus/releases
2. Extract it all onto the root of your 3DS' SD card.
3. Download the 7z file here: https://github.com/Robz8/DSiMenuPlusPlus-Launcher/releases
4. Extract the CIA file into the CIA directory on your SD card
5. Put any NDS files for games you want to play in the 'roms/nds' directory on your SD card
6. Put the SD card back in the 3DS
7. Open FBI (if you're reading this before hacking your 3DS, don't worry, it'll make sense after you've done that)
8. Navigate to the CIA folder
9. Install the 3 CIAs with "DSiMenuPlusPlus" in their names
10. Return to homescreen, open new app, find games, enjoy
