  1. Why I think destiny is fucking terrible.
  2.
  3. At its core destiny is a fantastic game, its art style, gunplay, loot system is highly desirable. When you see a shitty team like the one currently working on it atm. It makes you feel annoyed and frustrated. Almost like you were to see a friend hurting himself and you couldn't do anything but tell him to stop. I have loved the first 6 months of playing the game, when shadowkeep released I literally faked being sick and gave myself fever temps at school so I had to go home. I played it, loved it, then a week later hated the fuck out of it because of how repetitive it was and the lack of variation. Garden was the redeeming quality, I did my best to enjoy it, I got enlightened, I beat the raid in its entirety. Then I started going for pinnacles, I got a bunch (missing hush edgewise and redrix. All stuff I'm not too worried to get). The game just got stale. I used to play the game all day, every day. I have over 2k hours in total and reminisce on the good days of Black Armory and Opulence. I farmed godrolls for all my favorite guns, and got a ton of them, but never picked em up and took a ss, then sharded them. I also did pvp and currently need one more season of 5500 for unbroken, which I hate.
  4. Cheaters fucked my trials experience which really threw me over the edge. That shit I was waiting for, Trials was the last lifeline that really was supposed to save the game, they really screwed the pooch on that one. How retarded do you have to be to send out a pvp based gamemode and not think to elevate your anticheat, come the fuck on bro, that's just ridiculous. Don't even get me started on the horrible lack of raids. The main lure of destiny is the raids, the fact that they only release one in a single calendar year is just mind-boggling. They haven't released new crucible guns for fucking months now and the same goes for strikes. There is just nothing fun in the game. If someone GENUINELY enjoys the game, I sincerely wish you the best and just
  5. take everything with a grain of salt. If you want to, or are looking into this game, stop while you're ahead and don't even go for it, just save your money and play what it is you were playing before.

  12. Destiny 2 started off as a fantastic game, Forsaken was incredible, but as soon as they brought the seasonal model around, that was the begining of the end. I'm going to talk about Bungie and how they percieve this game and its players.
  13.
  14. The biggest issue with the game is the disgusting mentality bungie has with the game. As soon as they split from activision it looked super promising. SoO was a huge success, the raid was hard for once, menagerie was incredible, the game was good. When shadowkeep came out, bungie brought upon "play the way you want to play but if you dont play how we say, you wont have fun" idealology. Garden is a fantastic raid dont get me wrong, but having divinity as a quest item seemed so weird and tbh it was a disgusting change of pace. Enlightened was pretty easy since they removed flawless as a reward so we can omit that from the purpose of this comment... Vex offensive is just stupid, menagerie let you design your weapon, and bungie thought that was THE MODEL to follow eventually making that into a thing for 2 seasons. outside of the menial amount of weapons you can obtain, crucible is and was a complete mess. Shotguns are insanely ridiculous, allowing for Ohkos at retarded ranges as well as failing at stupid ranges. Crucible weapons took 3 seasons to change which was stupid as well... SoD from the changes looked awesome, i was hyped, Saint-14 and his revival seemed like a huge hint at trials, which imo was the one thing they needed in the game to save it. But, what does bungie do?? Add 2/3 of the content dropped in eververse.
  15. Most of the content since shadowkeep wasnt really difficult and it was a matter of when you could do something and not if, and in this season it was more prominent. Heroic sundial was boring and useless, really just existing as a vector for gear that was mediocre at best. The entire season was an enlongated chore and I found myself ITCHING to clean my room or clean the dishes for something fun to do... Season. Of. The. Worthy. What can I say? The game looked so promising and seemed hopeful for the future after SoO, it tanked on SoU and SoD so trials looked like it was it. (in my mind all they needed to do was NOT fuck UP TRIALS IF THEY BROUGHT IT BACK or balance all the good weapons to the status of weaker weapons or vice versa as well as make the game free-er). Trials dogshit. Doing the whole power nonsense is just stupid. Granted I hit flawless and 1k power pretty early and also both weeks, the game seemed really boring to deal with and play. Badger was a super toxic dude and always coming when you needed him not too and so forth. Bungie needs to learn that us as "guardians" want to play a game that isnt a chore and more of a real video game. I am writing this in hopes that bungie stumbles upon this game that I have come to love. I am also not really coming as a "casual" per se, but someone who can hit ~4000 comp rating and has about 130+ clears in all the raids combined, so I guess I am kinda "in there".
  16.
  17. Bungie needs to cater to the casual audience and not the hardcore audience, there is a much bigger casual fanbase than hardcore and it seems that they dont care at all.
  18.
  19. I'm going to click reccomend this game, but know that the game needs to make some SERIOUS adjustments to it in order to fix the game as a whole. I felt I illustrated some of the issues quite well and in reality, this is just going to get swept over the other reviews. I sincerely hope that the game does indeed benefit from ALL of the criticism that it is getting. I will, mark my words, come back to the game when it resonates from the same amount of glory and experience as forsaken. Until then, cheers.
