dream log 81

i stole a teacher's lunch by mistake.

jk that was last night's dream this night's dream is aboooouuuuttt

me and a bunch of classmates and friends i know are in a supermarket, and we all have these magical elemental orbs that are supposed to be like us, in a way, but mine doesn't feel quite like me. i think i replaced it later.

some friends are playing over at the dairy products section, where there seems to be a small tree with some hoops that they're throwing their orbs into and failing. i'm close by, but not playing, when all of a sudden a jerk that nobody likes just lifts me up, but only for a few seconds before putting me down. and he laughs.

another boy who i'm familiar with but didn't really consider a friend goes up to me after he's left, lifts me up with more strength, and whispers to me his plan to usurp the jerk. he goes around a corner, and i peek behind, where i see him encouraging the jerk to lift up a person lighter than me, and he's laughing and turns to me, like, "see?? that's funny!?" and i don't really get it, but i genuinely smile at the gesture.

then i walk over to that tree-branch hoop game that the others were playing, and a different boy, one i'm friends with, yells at me to join in, saying i have "windy powers" and that i would be the best at winning this game. i shrug, but throw my orb into one of the hoops anyways, and they all cheer. it's... kind of very nice?

i can't remember the last time my dream self really smiled.
