  1. It was a dark and dreary night, a house miles away from the nearest town stood near a big, curving hill. The night was a rather quiet one, with crickets echoing throughout the land and crows cawing about through the sky. The moon’s pale grey light illuminated upon the house, and the many stars that twinkled upon the sky filled this small, humble land with light.
  2. However, these people were unprepared for what was to come next. To a person looking up into a sky, they’d probably see nothing wrong in the sky, except for what looked like a star getting much closer to them. This star rustled the land’s tranquility with a crude, brash whirring sound. The birds sitting in their peaceful nests dashed away as the loud, unidentifiable object made itself known.
  3. The “star” was actually a large, pale green ship in the appearance of a bird sailing through the sky. The ship flew about through the scene, elegantly landing itself, but as it reached a few feet from the surface of the hill, the ship powered off and landed on the ground with a loud crash.
  4. The ship was now unable to move at all, with both of the bird’s wings crippled beyond repair. The previously sheen white coat of paint was no scratched and bruised, covered in the muddy dirt it crashed into. The ship was visibly steaming as well, with a small hatch labeled by “Emergency Exit” opening up rather slowly.
  5. From the small exit, three mysterious, human-like figures emerged. The three simply stared at the ship in awe, one on their knees, screaming in frustration.
  6. “I worked so hard on making this thing! It shouldn’t have crashed the very first landing!” this figure had a loud, child-like voice. One of the others just pat her shoulder, looking at the destroyed ship.
  7. “Don’t worry about that, we weren’t planning to return home anyway. Just stop screaming please, I’m pretty sure that there are people around here who are trying to sleep.” he just smiled, with her returning with a glare.
  8. “Does it look like I care, Helios? That ship was basically my life’s work, I’ve spent so much time and money making this thing by myself, and all of that was flushed down the miserable toilet called ‘life!’” she stared at the man by the name of Helios, giving the broken down ship a weak kick.
  9. “Calm down, Mac, this isn’t so bad. You can build another ship when we’re done with this, and I’ll pay for it too, okay?” Helios then started to dig out from a pocket, pulling out a small, purple ball that shone a bright light upon the three.
  10. From the light, Helios’s features were easily seen. He was rather tall, towering over Mac (which isn’t much of an accomplishment anyway; a child would be taller than Mac), and wore a bright, sunflower yellow jacket and bleak, brown pants that contrasted with each other horribly. Helios had bright, green eyes, curly brown hair, and a light skin tone with a faint orange color to it.
  11. Mac, however, was dwarfed by Helios (and the other man, by the name of Apollo). She wore glittery grey shoes with black socks that reached to her knees. Mac wore a bright pink skirt that almost reached to her knees as well, her torso covered with a jet black button-up shirt with no sleeves on it at all, and a blue bow tie to complete her look. Mac had bright, blue eyes, and (clearly dyed) pink hair that went down to her shoulders.
  12. The Last, Apollo, appeared rather similar to Helios. His height was above average, and wore a clean, white coat that seemed to illuminate the area as well. His eyes were a dull brown, and his brown hair had no notable attributes to it besides that it was brown.
  13. “Wow, I forgot about that thing!” Mac stared down to the bright, purple ball in awe, poking at it eagerly. Helios recoiled as Mac made contact with the ball, pushing her hand away.
  14. “Please don’t get this thing dirty. Let me set it up in this dirt…” Helios sat down onto the ground, prodding at a few small buttons set on the ball. Eventually, the ball made a clicking noise and easily set itself in the mud, invisible to the human eye.
  15. “Why did you just bury that thing in the mud? You just told me not to get that thing dirty!” Replied Mac, clearly agitated with Helios.
  16. “Mac, shush. Just look at this thing, isn’t it beautiful?” Helios stated proudly, looking at the ball. It was starting to slowly grow into a much larger size. Used to be the size of a pea, the ball was now as large as a gourd.
  17. “Yeah, it looks cool, but what does it do?” Apollo asked, deciding to lie down on the ground with the ball.
  18. “It’s only the most magnificent thing I have ever created! This thing drains all of the life and resources from a planet, and then we can use it for our own needs. For example, Mac wants purple hair dye. Well after we steal all of the planet’s resources, Mac will have a lot of purple hair dye.” Helios said, in attempts to persuade the two.
  19. “Whoa, that’s good enough for me!”
  20. “But isn’t is kinda not cool to wipe out thousands of animal species and millions of years of history for purple hair dye?”
  21. “It all depends on how you look at it, Apollo. We got permission to do this, and I thing this planet gave us consent to do this too!” Helios said with a smile. Apollo simply grumbled, rolling about in the dirt.
  22. “Well, as long as it isn’t illegal, I guess it’s okay then?” Apollo asked.
  23. “That’s the spirit, Apollo! Now,” Helios started, looking around “Let’s just get out of here before anyone sees us.” Mac and Apollo nodded and decided to hide in a group of well-sheared bushes settling near the house.
  24. The sounds of the night returned, with the crickets clicking and the crows cawing. Not being used to these sounds, the sounds made Mac uneasy. The three weren’t used to see such kinds of animals, ranging from the deadly mockingbird to the terrifying and bloodthirsty caterpillar.
  25. “This place is scaring me, Helios,” Apollo murmured, slowly crawling away from a beetle menacingly crawling towards him.
  26. “Calm down, none of these are worth worrying about-” a caterpillar dropped from the top of the house and landed on Helios’s nose, causing total anarchy to strike. Helios was left screaming in complete fear, watching the incest crawl up his face. Mac simply stood and watched Helios, while Apollo recorded the chaos onto a camera.
  27. “Mac, get it off of me! Can you at least do something?” Helios commanded, and Mac willingly obliged. Mac started doing something, which involved trying to adjust her hair to get it out of her eyes. Eventually, the caterpillar jumped off of Helios’s face, crawling away from the scene. Helios collected himself, and Apollo put his camera away.
  28. “I can’t wait until everything on this planet is dead, I don’t want to be attacked by one of those things ever again.” Helios looked over to the nearby, more populated town, and headed towards it in hopes of encountering less caterpillars. Mac and Apollo quickly followed, however a small scrap of paper flew out of Mac’s hair. The paper had a musical note hastily drawn onto it, and gently landed onto the welcome mat of the nearby house.
