Background:
Jaysi had a happy childhood at her home in Alexandria, Louisiana, USA. She was always doing things and laughing. However, she changed when her parents died in a car crash when she was seven. She had no other family in the US that she could live with, so sadly she left her home and moved to Korea to live with her grandfather. He was living, but also demanding. He never knew the smiling girl she was before; only the cold, quiet brilliance she was when they met. She showed an interest in learning defense, and so he let her take taekwondo.
