  1. He stared coldly at Celicia. His eyes had to be playing tricks on him. That couldn't be the girlfriend of Viridian wearing Achyon uniform.
  2.
  3. He rubbed his eyes to get a better look. "Is that.. you?" He asked coldly, he stared at Celicia.
  4.
  5. He frowned then clenched his fists. "Why are you wearing that?" He asked the blue haired woman. He squints his eyes to get a sharp glimpse at Celicia hair under the black and gold cap.
  6.
  7. He took a deep breath.
  8. (Azaron)
  9.
  10. You have stopped following Celicia.
  11.
  12. "Hm."
  13.
  14. An oddity. Marcel could've sworn that he scouted out around Osrona quite often, stalking in the shadows with invisibility potions- yet, never once has he seen this man before.
  15.
  16. But he seems to claim to know her.
  17.
  18. "She wears this because she's a part of Achyon military."
  19.
  20. "We did something that Osrona failed to ever do - and continues to fail their people with."
  21.
  22. "Give her purpose, and a real family."
  23.
  24. Try as Osronans may to claim the title of 'freedom', that freedom was worthless if there was no unity; nobody cared for one another in that city, nor they ever would.
  25.
  26. Yet, his gaze turns towards Celicia briefly.
  27.
  28. "Do you know him?"
  29. (Marcel Delisle)
  30.
  31. "... Aunt Celicia."
  32.
  33. He called as steps brought them closer towards both Marcel and ex-priestess. Boots clanking and echoing outwards as the gun from his holster came pulled free, staring straight towards the bald headed figure before them.
  34.
  35. "Are you taking his money too? I'm supposed to help you kill rabbits today, you know!" Meaning he hadn't had all day to simply wait around for every cretin which came their way.
  36.
  37. "So, make this fast you two!"
  38.
  39. One polite nod towards his father as well, of course.
  40. (Sanguinius)
  41.
  42. "Huh?"
  43.
  44. It wasn't someone she could readily remember. She squints at him and scowls.
  45.
  46. In the end, however, Celicia ends up smiling. They likely had met, under much different circumstances.
  47.
  48. Her newly acquired pouch of coins is stuffed away.
  49.
  50. "I'm a soldier, you know. If you want in the mines, pay the damn toll."
  51.
  52. Sanguinius receives a nod, Marcel receives a shrug.
  53. (Celicia)
  54.
  55. Sanguinius is now following you.
  56.
  57. He took a deep breath once more. He couldn't deal with this right now. He had a lot going on but now this?
  58.
  59. He wondered if Viridian knew about Celicia being apart of the Achyon military, it was definitely something he had to report back to him whenever he comes across him again.
  60.
  61. He eyed Marcel coldly. He haven't seen this man ever in his life until now, he shook his head then looked towards Celicia.
  62.
  63. "Apart of the Achyon military? Why are you doing this, Celicia? You may not remember me since I'm not that important but this is wrong. They've killed your friends!" He barked.
  64.
  65. He held out his hand, he jerked his thumb, index finger up then spoke. "Think about Elijah II, Azni.. what are you thinking?" He said.
  66.
  67. He inhaled sharply, he took in the crisp air around him. "Purpose? Real family? You had that with your boyfriend" He spoke.
  68.
  69. He arched his brow at the mention of the mines and toll. He looked back then shook his head. "I changed my mind, I'm not going into no mines." He then crossed his arms over his chest.
  70. (Azaron)
  71.
  72. Sanguinius says, "Wooow..."
  73.
  74. Sanguinius says, "Father, please shoot him."
  75.
  76. "..."
  77.
  78. This was very, very unfortunate for Azaron. Perhaps, he unknowingly walked into something dire- something that could end very poorly for him. And yet, there's one thing that cannot be denied. With this mention..
  79.
  80. He's in great trouble.
  81.
  82. "Funny you mention them... Azni and Elijah." The Corporal begins to approach close.
  83.
  84. Closer.
  85.
  86. "She doesn't need to remember them."
  87.
  88. "Because I killed them both."
  89.
  90. The hands of this man were long stained in blood. One to constantly defeat the Champions of Eos- to take away Alcast from his family, to kill Osronans and the knights alike.
  91.
  92. And today, Azaron just might join them.
  93.
  94. "But I'll treat you just like I treated everyone else."
  95.
  96. "I'll give you a warning - once."
  97.
  98. The gun is drawn; charged, witha silent click! and the rapidly accelerating mechanism that could prove to unleash fatal shots.
  99.
  100. "Surrender."
  101.
  102. "Or be taken in by force."
  103. (Marcel Delisle)
  104.
  105. Ty'raj Toryia says, "..."
  106.
  107. "Hmph."
  108.
  109. No soldier would need heed his voice, though watching as Marcel stepped forwards? He couldn't help but feel a twinge of satisfaction of this small victory. Such a man which stood before them now, he was a danger to the very way of living Sanguinius had become accustomed to.
  110.
  111. "Really, spreading lies to my Aunt? Bringing up the names of people who... Didn't ever matter to her?" His brow quirked upwards and features distorted with a morbid sense of disgust. Vile poison practically seeping from his gaze, though that rage was quickly contained.
  112.
  113. Attention soon turned straight towards Celicia.
  114.
  115. "You should tell him, Auntie!"
  116.
  117. He was quick to demand.
  118.
  119. "Tell this man trying to take my Aunt away that... You don't care at all about those names or those people!"
  120.
  121. Really, how foolish was this?
  122. (Sanguinius)
  123.
  124. Once more, she found herself ridiculed by someone who didn't know a thing. Something within her mind stirs as she once more is left to teeter on a precarious balance.
  125.
  126. As he implores her to think back and remember, she rests a hand against her cheek, humming.
  127.
  128. "Azni? The whore who hurt my best friend? That's hilarious!"
  129.
  130. Her smile grows.
  131.
  132. "Elijah maybe, at one point. Either way, they're all dead to me now! I don't give a damn either way. I don't have much to say about any of that other stuff either."
  133.
  134. Waving a dismissive hand, she'd side-eye Marcel as he readies his gun. He was more than prepared to deal with this little problem of theirs it seemed.
  135.
  136. The former priestess thus steps on over to settle a palm atop the child's head.
  137.
  138. "There, there, Sanguinius. They just don't know any better! They can't help it, you see."
  139.
  140. All at once, her smile fades.
  141.
  142. "It's in their nature to be ignorant."
  143. (Celicia)
  144.
  145. He angrily eyed Marcel.
  146.
  147. It was something about this man that sounded off in Azaron head. His threats was direct and looked promising. He scoffed before he heard Marcel first sentence out of his mouth.
  148.
  149. He still kept his arms crossed. "You must be the one who attacked those teens.. Krom, the drakanite teenager whatever her name is." His name lingered on his tongue, he couldn't remember his name right at this point.
  150.
  151. "You tell lies, that rat species killed Azni. I heard it from the people of the Shimmering City myself." He said to Marcel.
  152.
  153. "You're a horrible human being. How could you harm-..." He stopped right there, he couldn't bash Marcel for hurting teenagers. He just beat up Violet and beat up Alois and his two friends just a week ago.
  154.
  155. Wow, they was alike in some sort. He shook his head, no. They wasn't alike at all, Marcel murdered people.
  156.
  157. He didn't murder anyone but somehow he stillfelt wrong by causing injury to teenagers. He hung his head low then responded to Marcel threat.
  158.
  159. "I've defeated several monsters of the Shadowmire forest. More powerful than me any day of the week." He paused for a second then continued.
  160.
  161. "What makes you think I'll surrender myself over to Achyon?"
  162.
  163. With that being said, he harnessed the energies of Hajara's forging then channeled his flames to surround his body.
  164. (Azaron)
  165.
  166. Ignorance.
  167.
  168. To claim all of these things, to say so many words.. and yet tell nothing. The Corporal stares at Azaron, neither impressed nor moved by his speeches- to be called a horrible human being is something that he's endured all too many times, but..
  169.
  170. There's nothing on his expression.
  171.
  172. Nothing that could say that he's affected by his words - because he was by no means a familiar man, nor anyone of meaning to him; but, given that he ignored the warning that Corporal imposed upon him, there's only a single remark.
  173.
  174. "You had your chance."
  175.
  176. The gun is pointed towards Azaron- terrible lightning surges around him, forming a dark barrier that promises to engulf his surroundings whole; the refined, practiced technique that he's known for a while by now.
  177.
  178. "You should've surrendered."
  179.
  180. "Because you're facing a real monster now."
  181.
  182. Click!
  183. BANG!
  184.
  185. A powerful shot is immediately fired at Azaron- there is no more choice to surrender anymore.
  186.
  187. Only to fight or flee.
  188. (Marcel Delisle)
  189.
  190. Angered
  191.
  192. He reached over his shoulder to grab his weapon, he twirled it in his hand then aimed it skyward for a moment then slammed it down in front of him with force.
  193.
  194. The force of his weapon impacting the sand in front puts up a elemental barrier in front of him. He used this as a opportunity to run away from the front of the mines back into safety.
  195.
  196. He hoped the barrier holds steady but he knew with confidence, he wouldn't which was sad.
  197.
  198. It seemed as if he met his match in Marcel but he wasn't about to find out now.
  199.
  200. He dangerously set the path in front of him on fire in order to stop the possibly advancing Marcel from chasing after him but just like before, he knew his speed would fail him.
  201.
  202. There it goes, the elemental barrier he put up to shield him crumbled under the immense pressure.
  203.
  204. Hopefully, he would be gone by then.
  205. (Azaron)
  206.
  207.
  208.
  209. Marcel Delisle has lost 7 vitality from this battle for three hours.
  210.
  211. {RP BATTLE} You have WON the battle!
  212.
  213. Azaron has sustained an injury in battle...
  214.
  215.
  216. Outclassed.
  217.
  218. Neither strength nor resolve could truly help Azaron much- for this fight, he lacked both. For every bit of flame spewed out from him, emerging from the mana of the caster, he was shocked with lightning and thoroughly shredded by winds. To Marcel, the damage was minimal..
  219.
  220. Leaving naught but small burns that would easily heal.
  221.
  222. But for Azaron? The story was different. For every time that he missed, trying to hopelessly catch the man riding the winds, little by little he was brought down by the winds and lightning alike; until, one final shot was aligned.
  223.
  224. Right at the center of his body.
  225.
  226. Thunder struck overhead. Searing, burning the man- in an odd twist of fate full of irony, the man that would be no doubt familiar with giving burns to others is burned this time around.
  227.
  228. Dust flies about, creating a cloud..
  229. The sheer force behind this shot was immense.
  230.
  231. "You know, I don't understand."
  232.
  233. "Just why you Osronans keep doing this." The voice speaks through the cloud of dust, somewhere away from Azaron.
  234.
  235. "Azni was a traitor, a heartbreaker- and Elijah was a thankless bastard that had every favour done for him, yet abandoned people that gave him everything."
  236.
  237. "Just to be mediocre for the sake of Osrona and die anyway."
  238.
  239. Even reminding him about it was riling up Marcel. There was closure- after he snuffed out the life from Elijah with his bare hands, and after he shot a bullet in Azni's heart.. but still, the scars remained.
  240.
  241. "Now where were you--"
  242.
  243. The clouds dissipate. There's almost a spark to Marcel's eyes, a smile..
  244.
  245.
  246. "There you are."
  247.
  248.
  249. Thud!
  250. Thud!
  251. Thud!
  252.
  253. It's not a picture anyone would want to see from Azaron's point of view- Marcel, with a dark intent in his eyes, approaching towards someone badly hurt; the sound of his boots marching against the ground only coming closer.
  254.
  255. Closer,
  256. and closer.
  257.
  258. And as he nears, the hand of the Corporal outstretches more and more, intent to grasp the man.
  259.
  260. He'll have to flee now.
  261. Or end up in Corporal's chains.
  262. (Marcel Delisle)
  263.
  264. Failure
  265.
  266. The word echoed in his mind as he looked back to see the elemental barrier crumbling under pressure. It was no use trying to escape from the pursuing Marcel but he had to give it a try, he did all of this training just to end up failing?
  267.
  268. He pants heavily as he looked behind him to see Marcel catching up to him. It was obviously clear that he and Marcel was far apart strength wise.
  269.
  270. While the Achyon Corporal had years of experience, Azaron only had one year experience and that was it. He wasn't ready to face a killer such as Marcel but his speed gave up on him when it mattered the most which disappointed him.
  271.
  272. He stopped running after the gap between them was a few feet. He dropped to his knee in anger. He raised his head to look at the sky then screamed.
  273.
  274. "Why do you keep failing me?!" He screamed out then he rose up to his two feet.
  275.
  276. With the energies of Hajara's forging still harnessed. He aggressively charged at Marcel which proved useless cause of the mysterious man use of magic.
  277.
  278. The winds slowed down the advancing Sarradian while lightning struck him repeatedly which burned his face, arms and even back. Even with all of that, he continued to pursue the Corporal in order to defend himself.
  279.
  280. He fought countless battles against monsters which he won with no problem but this was a different type of monster in his opinion.
  281.
  282. The man known as Marcel controlled the winds like no other, nobody but Marcel ever slowed him down in the winds like this. How could this be, Azaron thought.
  283.
  284. He stood on alert, he noticed a cloud forming above him. He aimed his weapon skyward as if his intentions was to get rid of the cloud but his power wasn't good enough.
  285.
  286. His flames easily defeated plenty of enemies but not Marcel. He was more advanced than Azaron, better equipped to handle the sudden environment around Silverwall Mines.
  287.
  288. All he heard was voices speaking, he couldn't see or hear nothing. He zoned out until the cloud finally disappeared which was too late for Azaron to go on the offensive.
  289.
  290. He heard Marcel voice, marking him. He quickly slammed his weapon down into the ground, he created a elemental barrier once more but this time, he invested some of his own energy including Hajara's.
  291.
  292. "Day and Night"
  293.
  294. "Night and Day"
  295.
  296. "Make this monster go AWAY!" He screamed as several explosions instantly sounded off around Marcel as a means to knock him away from Azaron.
  297.
  298. It helped a bit but nevertheless, he kept advancing which resulted in Azaron lost.
  299.
  300. Once Marcel lighting charge headed straight towards Azaron, it broke through Azaron barrier which eventually fried him.
  301.
  302. Burning him across his face then forcefully knocked him seven feet away from Marcel.
  303.
  304. He groaned in pain but struggled to stand up. He sheathed his weapon then slowly held both of his hands outward.
  305.
  306. He whispered several words.
  307.
  308. "La'Heba.. I, Azaron call upon you to grant me your power to escape from capture!" He called upon the second child and first fire Sarradian La'Heba.
  309.
  310. Several minutes went by until the flames that once surrounded Azaron body increased. He snapped his fingers to ignite two explosions to sound off around Marcel to keep the Corporal far away from him.
  311.
  312. He was defeated now but he would continue to train until he is ready for his rematch.
  313.
  314. (Azaron)
  315.
  316. It was futile.
  317.
  318. To fight against Marcel in such manner proved to be a fatal mistake to many- for as much as Azaron could claim to lay waste to countless monsters, there's a big difference that he perhaps realized only now in this fight.
  319.
  320. Marcel is a bigger monster than they are.
  321.
  322. A flicker of explosions- ones that only cause the Corporal to stand still for a moment, the ion barrier surrounding him protecting him handily, yet offering an escape to Azaron. With the flames dissipating..
  323.
  324. That one is gone.
  325.
  326. "Hrm.."
  327.
  328. He takes another look around, as if to try and find the Sarradian, but he was gone; eventually, the barrier around him dissipates, finding no further use in maintaining it.
  329.
  330. "Unfortunate."
  331.
  332. "I was hoping for a longer chat."
  333.
  334. Another opponent fled from him- yet another successful fight.
  335. (Marcel Delisle)
  336.
