dirk's perspective - jake goes for dirk for the sake of inevitability. dirk is overwhelmingly happy.
jane, spitefuland upset, shows dirk the logfiles. roxy has been oblivious to these things until
dirk comes to her, upset and at wit's end. she comforts him, confesses her feelings. they bond sweetly, and dirk doesn't want to make her a rebound and he tells her this. while roxy is totally okay
with that, he isn't - but she does agree to help him exact revenge on jake AND jane for doing
that to him. it becomes a serious war for the derse and prospit dreamers, and while roxy still
loves them both very much, her feelings for dirk are far too strong to let him ache like he is.
roxy ddos' their computers with her leet haxxor skills, sending various hostile files and detrimental
lines of code. dirk attempts to re-program brobot with a backup generator, but his heart isn't
much into it. at the end of it all, jake and jane are in a relationship built on the destruction of
roxy and dirk. it gets really, really out of hand. jane enlists the help of crocker corp for this,
and assassination attempts and kidnappings are present. dirk is the prime target since he fucked up
everyone's plans the most, and has told roxy about the fenestrated plane in his room. she tells him to
hook it up and come stay with her, where her mother's money and their big house can serve as their
base of operations. together, now, realizing that all hope is lost with jake and that he's been
steadily building feelings for this 'stupid drunk blonde from the internet that has been willing
to help him this whole time based on nothing but her deep love'. they are a thing. they are a thing
and they are both so fucking happy. cornered by an assassin who has jane on the line, roxy begs to
talk to her. "janey," she sobs, eyes trained on the gun the assassin has pointed at her. "i'm so
fucking sorry. i never meant for this to happen this way. i just love dirk so much and hurting his
feelings like you did... i don't know janey it pissed me off. i don't hate you, i love you and
jake so much. i never wanted this." amidst the chaos around them, jane forgives her and dirk.
she has never been happier with jake, and it's really because of roxy's meddling that everyone
ended up with who they were meant to be with. everything is called off.
