  1. There was no option for people who are unsure about their romantic attraction or are demi-/gray romantic
  2.
  3. Great questions this year!
  4.
  5. nope, thank. good survuy much wow very interest.
  6.
  7. Please for the love of god stop gatekeeping asexuals
  8.
  9. Add a romantic orientation option, you ask to ID where on the ace spec we are, but not our romantic attraction.
  10.
  11. Nope!
  12.
  13. Sexual and romantic orientation should be seperate questions and there should be a "not sure" option for both.
  14.
  15. Would like to see a similar questionnaire on Aromanticism at some point
  16.
  17. By the love of god, if more people said yes on the question "Do you think that being ace that puts you in a more neutral or detached position about sexuality and that can make you a less biased observer of it?", then I will happily leave this community as I have experienced so much bs here in this community. It has the same exact problem as in every other LGBT and I solely hope that this survey is able to show me, that this community is just filled with cool and normal dudes and fams and not with some fucked up people .-.
  18.
  19. No suggestions
  20.
  21. question 4 could use much more detail, both for romantic and grey aces to indicate orientation and for grey aros
  22.
  23. Thank you for a well-informed survey
  24.
  25. I don’t know why this survey annoys me. I hope my answer helps.
  26.
  27. I hope you have a lovely day.
  28.
  29. keep being awesome :)
  30. subscribe to contrapoints
  31.
  32. nah
  33.
  34. Thank you for this platform to talk about my asexuality and I hope I helped! :)
  35. I have a love hate relationship with innuendos because on one hand I never get them until way too late, but on the other I can make a ton of them without getting hit with any recoil damage..not sure if useful but there ya go.
  36. I think aces belong at pride and in LGBTQ spaces :)
  37.
  38.
  39. Try to be less obvious that you hate feminists/(((Cultural Marxism))) in your question framing in the future.
  40. Sexual identity is way too simple to explain how you feel in life. Absolutely no one understands these ... everything about this is way to complicated and completely different for everyone
  41.
  42. You shouldn't ask the sex assigned at birth question, or at least make it optional. Also questioning should be an option for somen of these questions.
  43.
  44.
  45. the age question doesn’t work. if someone is 20 which box do they check? you need to make it like 15-20, 21-25 etc
  46.
  47. :)
  48.
  49. I dont understand the garlic bread obssesion but at this point im too afraid to ask...
  50. I also identify as heterosexual (since I'm demi) but the question which asked sexuality made it out like if I was ace I could not be heterosexual. also aro/romantic should not be in the same question as demi imo since I'm both romantic and demisexual.
  51.
  52. Thanks for writing up this survey I had fun.
  53.
  54.
  55. Not sure. Surveys are nice in this community.
  56.
  57. Thanks for the survey
  58.
  59. I haven't seen any questions here, but I've noticed that there are often questions about significant relationships that aces can be in and what one would do in those situations. Just think it might be good to remember that there are some religious aces who have not had sex yet because they're waiting for marriage, such as myself. I identify as demi/gray-ace, but I'm still a virgin.
  60.
  61. I want more garlic bread.
  62.
  63.
  64. "adding a 'dont care' or similar option to the kink question, being able to check multiple answers for some things, eg gender and why sex is gross.
  65. Also, in most ace spaces I've been I've been able to have discussions abt sex and things that were calm and mature, and thats really nice"
  66.
  67.
  68. It'd be nice if you defined some of the terms in the questions that are a bit vague. e.g. some people use kink in very different ways. Libertarian left could refer to anything from syndicalism to libertarian socialism to small gov liberalism, and, depending on who you asked, moderate left could be anything from moderate democrats, to social democrats, to socialists.
  69.
  70. thanks for the survey, I really liked it :)
  71.
  72. <3
  73.
  74. This community really needs to sort itself out because the people that I mentioned above are doing more harm to asexuals than they realise.
  75.
  76. Many asexuals are not sex repulsed and many will have sex for a partner's sake; this sort of thing seems to often be neglected in asexual discussions. There are many shades of asexuality, and that should be addressed more, and in an asexuality questionnaire like this more options should be presented to let people clearly identify their stance. I'd also love to see demisexuality and asexuality separated as I don't feel they're at all linked, but maybe that's just me.
  77.
  78. Add a questioning option for place on the asexuality spectrum
  79.
  80. These questions were in depth and made me consider things I hadn't thought about before. Thanks for making this!
  81.
  82.
  83. Thanks for making a well thought out survey :)
  84.
  85.
  86. Nope. Good survey though!
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. I am grey ace but the sexuality I experience is homosexual, as grey ace is a mix of ace and allo
  91.
  92.
  93. Change your gender identity question. Just put male and female for binary genders and exclude the question for biological sex all together. Trans individuals taking this survey will most likely not appreciate being reminded that they were not born the way they wanted and also asking what physical features they were assigned could really trigger their dysphoria and/or make them feel they aren't accepted as the gender they are. Please consider this before asking questions like that.
  94.
  95.
  96. Maybe make a discussion thread or forum for people to communicate about what answers they put and why they put them. Also give the option to see other’s anonymous results
  97.
  98.
  99. Good memes
  100.
  101. i would be interested to see what the ace community collectively defines the ace experience as.
  102.
  103. Race/ethnicity
  104. I feel like many questions need to be answered differently for aces and greys/demis as well as for sexpositive, neutrals and repulsed people.
  105.
  106.
  107. "I'm happy to have this community, it helps to know I'm not alone. And I have something to point to when people don't understand me.
  108.
  109. Also, I'm lonely as FUCK. :( Thanks for coming to my TEDx Talk"
  110.
  111.
  112. Some of these questions are kind of leading. Take these answers with a grain of salt.
  113.
  114.
  115.
  116. I think some of the answers to these questions might be better understood with more context about the respondents' experience with sex and relationships - number and gender of partners, relationship length and type (sexual/romantic/platonic), etc.
  117.
  118.
  119. N/A
  120.
  121. Nooooooooope
  122.
  123. We need a better song than A-Okay.
  124.
  125.
  126. Nope! Xx
  127.
  128.
  129. "There are a lot of aces who have experienced sexual violence, which could be a part of why some of them are so repulsed by the idea of sex.
  130. In my case several boundaries were broken by other kids when I was in kindergarten and I thought that everybody just ignored what was happening, turns out they didn't even know what was happening or thought that I'd done it of my own free will. Which is just sick. I was four. The other kids forced me to pull down my pants and terrified me in general. I'm still horrified of strangers even looking at me on the streets."
  131.
  132.
  133.
  134. Great survey! Would love to see the results. I love answering those ;)
  135.
  136.
  137. Sexuality in western society is treated as a taboo, yet is everywhere around us. Either it should be less of a taboo, or it should be less pervasive in our everyday life.
  138. Nothing else at the mo.
  139.
  140.
  141. Questioning options, for the question about understanding sex, you should have an option where it says “somewhat, but I don’t really wanna know more”
  142.
  143.
  144. The fourth question sucks imo.
  145. Naw, seems ok. I'm personally interested in the diversity of ace male "coping strategies" to the ways that men are socialized but iunno if that's tangential to this survey or not
  146.
  147.
  148. I understand that the majority of the world is sexual, so a lot of tv/advertisements/movies/etc reflect that. But I freaking cried when Todd from Bojack Horseman questioned if he was asexual. Everytime they bring it up again, I get a knot if fear that the writers will back down and make him just not very active, but still something on the sexual spectrum. I'm so glad I like that show is popular, because I don't know if any other ace characters in anything, ever. And that sucks.
  149.
  150. This was a great survey, I hope you have a great day!
  151.
  152.
  153.
  154. I kind of wonder sometimes about Ace getting married together just to raise children... I know there's a term for it but I kind of forgot it. It's long... I never see people really talk about it, and I think it's a cool topic.
  155.
  156.
  157. I personally don't like that demisexuality is often grouped together with gray ace, because personally, as a demisexual, there is no "grayness" in the picture for me. I know where my feeling lie. I don't know if anyone else has any issue with it, but that's how I think.
  158.
  159.
  160.
  161. Nah but have a nice day *hugs and cookies for everyone. :D
  162.
  163. I’ve recently come out to 3 people in my kink community and so far it’s been pleasant. They’ve all been accepting.
