  1. >It all happened so quickly
  2. >you opened the email
  3. >"are you looking for a partner? click here and meet the finest of the infernal spheres!
  4. >so read the brightly colored message
  5. >it was highly detailed for what you assumed what was meant to be a dating site.
  6. >decorated with various glyphs and symbols of unknown meaning along its borders. and above the central text was an animated image of a feline creature with white fur and ornate clothing sporting a massive smile.
  7. >you hadn't had much luck with online dating, but against your better judgement, you decided to click on the message on account of its eye catching design.
  8. >as soon as you did, you were hit by what seemed to be a field of ethereal energy that glowed a luminous green.
  9. >the current whirled around you at a fascinating speed until your surroundings faded from view
  10. >you were suddenly pulled into what looked to be a nightmarish tunnel, and after roughly 35 seconds, you hit your destination
  11. >you struck the ground with considerable force, but not enough to break any bones, you did feel a bit sore though.
  12. >you slowly rose to your feet and tried to get your bearings
  13. >looking around, you seemed to have ended up in what looked like an ornate palace, the walls and ceiling were bright shades of white, pink, and crimson. and there were elaborate patterns covering the walls, what you assumed to be a form of writing.
  14. >magnificent pillars lined the hallway, and the whole room seemed to evoke the baroque style as far as you could tell.
  15. >your thoughts were interrupted as a booming voice of feminine quality called out behind you
  16. "Greetings mortal! I see our offer captured your attention, yes?
  17. >you turned around and were greeted by a familiar, but terrifying sight.
  18. >it looked to be a towering creature of a feline complexion.
  19. >she had to have been 12 feet tall at the very least
  20. >her fur was a pale white, with accents of black on the tips of her ears, face, and neck.
  21. >also of note was her clothing, she wore some kind of black vest on top of an embroidered cloth. but most distinctive was the peacock like headdress she was adorned with.
  22. >her eyes were a bright red, and she sported the mischievous grin you remembered from the email.
  23. >you huddled away from her in fear, nothing about this situation made sense to you, and this creature didn't seem like the trustworthy type
  24. "W-w-who are you? and where the hell am I?"
  25. >the towering feline let out a thunderous laugh
  26. >"My dear boy, you're in Hell!"
  27. >that didn't make you feel any better
  28. >"you may call me Pride, Monarch Pride that is"
  29. >"And you have just scored a date with Trebol's most eligible bachelorette!"
  30. >it was a lot to take in
  31. "Just hold on a minute... I didn't-"
  32. >"No need to introduce youtself, I already know all about you!
  33. Now come along, your date is waiting."
  34. >the colossal entity stared down towards you with her crimson eyes, as you made contact, something took hold.
  35. >You found yourself inexplicably compelled to follow her orders, >you followed her as she sauntered down the central hall into a. more central chamber as the two of you were greeted by an equally curious sight
  36. >what looked to be a humanoid feline sat at the far corner of the room
  37. >they wore a black overall skirt with a magenta undershirt, along with boots of a matching color.
  38. >your gaze moved upwards, and your eyes met. their fur was a pale white, and they had a heart shaped mark on their left eye.
  39. >at this point it was apparent the creature was a female, her eyes were heterochromatic, the left a light pink and the right a shade of magenta.
  40. >that seemed to be a common color in this place, as far as you could tell
  41. >she shrunk back as she made eye contact, her blonde hair shaking in response and her pink beret nearly fell off her head.
  42. >after what felt like an eternity, the Monarch spoke again with thunderous cheer.
  43. >"My dear, your date has finally arrived!"
  44. >the more diminutive cat took on an incredulous expression in response to the declaration
  45. >"You've got to be kidding me! Pride? What the fuck is this thing? Is he from topside? I've never even heard of a creature like this! Is he a goddamn alien?"
  46. >Pride let out an audible chuckle in response to her tirade
  47. >"Vassal, now that's no way to speak to a potential suitor!
  48. >the white feline groaned in irritation
  49. >"besides, you're obsessed with that movie about aliens invading a high school or whatever, now's your chance to meet the real deal!"
  50. >"Now then, introduce yourself will you my dear?"
  51. >the smaller cat huffed
  52. >"Uh, Hi there, I'm Beleth, and I guess your my date."
  53. >she looked at you with a nervous expression, frequently breaking eye contact
  54. "Well, my name is [anonymous] You're um... looking great this evening!"
  55. >you let out a hesitant chuckle
  56. >the girl raised an eyebrow
  57. >"thanks?"
  58. >she stated plainly
  59. >the taller creature let out another laugh
  60. >"It's good to see you two get along so well! why don't we take this to a more suitable location?
  61. >with the sound of a finger-snap, the both of you suddenly found yourselves sitting at a table in what appeared to be a dining area of sorts.
  62. >there was a decorative centerpiece at the center, some kind of plant you couldn't recognize
  63. >and on your plate was some sort of meat you failed to identify, along with equally bizarre vegetables, looked like something out of a dr. seuss book.
  64. >your partner looked at you with timid uncertainty, and you decided to break the tension
  65. "Well... I really like what you've done with your hair."
  66. >God you fucking sucked
  67. >"thanks... again. just the work of Abyzou's finest tonic."
  68. >she shuffled a bit in her seat
  69. >"so I guess I should tell you a bit about myself, I'm the Vassal of Foxtrot, And I protect Trebol from the ever present danger of angelic incursions."
  70. >"You?"
  71. >and here you thought she sold purses
  72. "Well, I work at a furniture store, hehehe..."
  73. >you looked away for just a moment
  74. >she made an expression you couldn't quite place
  75. >Well that sounds nice?
  76. >desperate to regain your self confidence, you took a shot in the dark
  77. "so do you like comic books?"
  78. >her eyes lit up as she rose out of her seat
  79. >"Oh absolutely!"
  80. >she quickly realized what she had done, and sat back down with a bashful smile
  81. "I've read quite a bit of those, quite interested in the ones about aliens, but I guess you knew that already.
  82. >this evening was going to be quite interesting, you could tell
  83. >the two of you talked quite a bit about the comics from both of your worlds, she was quite interested in the one about amoral superheroes who raped and murdered with reckless abandon, though you had to explain to her what a superhero was.
  84. >she had a few of her own to share, mainly dealing with vampires, zombies, and other ghoulish creatures caught up in teenage melodrama.
  85. >you found it a bit dull, but you wanted to be polite, and tried to look interested.
  86. >but one in particular, about an aged warrior seeking a way to recapture his past glory really stood out to you
  87. >she also spoke of a mishap at a convention in town, in which she was mistaken as a cosplayer, cosplaying as herself that is.
  88. >which resulted in a convoluted effort to obtain tickets involving her "puppets" which were apparently supernatural appendages through which she could control from a great distance.
  89. >after a hearty discussion, you both realized you had hardly touched your meals, but it hardly bothered you
  90. >you and your companion decided it was time to leave the establishment, but to where?
  91. "Okay, seeing as this is your world, your home and all, where would you like us to go?"
  92. >she gave an uncertain look for a moment, then perked up her ears
  93. >"Let's go to my place! you'll be able to get a nice taste of trebol, I know a pretty scenic route to the old cottage, take it all the time.
  94. >you followed her lead through the doors and into the town, you never thought hell would look so whimsical.
  95. >just about everything was varying shades of pink, purple, and red, including the sky.
  96. >there was no sun in sight, which you found quite odd, though you could tell it was around dusk.
  97. >walking through the street you took note of a variety of creatures of nearly every imaginable shape
  98. >some were recognizable as mammals, but others were far stranger.
  99. >many looked at you with curiosity, others with visible disgust, and a few with excitement.
  100. >as you neared a bridge, a creature with five branch-like appendages arranged in a radial manner and a cluster of eyes in its center suddenly approached.
  101. >"GREETINGS UNKNOWN ENTITY, ARE YOU A VISITING TOPSIDER?
  102. >the booming, yet strangely androgynous vocalizations of the creature were quite startling, and you visibly jumped back, much to your embarrassment.
  103. >Beleth intervened with noticeable annoyance.
  104. >"Dude, calm down! I don't want him to get a heart attack on our first d- I mean,he's a foreign representative and it's urgent that he doesn't feel uncomfortable!"
  105. >you noticed her blush slightly and glance at you for a split second as she cut herself off.
  106. >"anyway, [anonymous], this is Buer, they're a friend from work. and Buer, [anonymous] is visiting from uh... a recently discovered nation of bipedal monkeys, and it's important that he's given a good impression of the blackjack isles."
  107. >the strange creature lowered its appendages and dimmed its eyes before speaking once again
  108. >"I UNDERSTAND NOW, I SHALL GIVE THE NEWCOMER THE SPACE HE REQUIRES, AM HOPING I HAVE NOT UPSET YOU
  109. "It's fine bud, just don't be so pushy next time."
  110. >with that, the one known as Buer scuttled away
  111. >you and your demonic companion continued across the bridge as you took note of the properties of the water beneath you
  112. >it was a frankly unnatural shade of blue, and you could hear what sounded like faint whispering if you listened closely, though you brushed it off as just another oddity of this strange new realm.
  113. >the two of you got off the bridge and out of the town square, entering a lightly wooded area on the way to her lodging
  114. >you decided that it would be a good idea to discuss your new surroundings with her, as you did not expect you would be going home soon
  115. "Well... I gotta say that the air quality is a lot better than it is back home, It really makes everything feel alive you know"
  116. >she grinned softly, exposing two fangs that you could not see before
  117. >"Yeah, Trebol's got to be the cleanest of the isles, none of that nasty gas and factories that make up pike, glad I've never been.
  118. >she finished with a laugh, taking a step closer
  119. >you briefly felt her striped tail rub against your back, making you shiver.
  120. >luckily for you, she didn't seem to notice your anxiety, and continued walking.
  121. >the rest of the walk was uneventful, soon enough you came across what looked like some sort of cottage.
  122. >it was of a quaint size, like it came out of some sort of fairy-tale or storybook, brightly colored with shades of pink and blue highlights on its exterior
  123. >you could tell it was made mainly from wood, but you couldn't discern the type.
  124. >what looked like the front yard was punctuated with a number of brightly colored plants, few of which you could recognize. You could tell your companion had quite the eye for floral decoration.
  125. >as you neared the front door, your friend made a stop and looked towards you with a slight smile.
  126. >"As you can tell, this is my home! Not the fanciest place, but it's suited my purposes for a long while now."
  127. >you appreciated her honesty, being a defender of this world against the mysterious "angels" you would think one of such importance would have more respect, but as far as you could tell, the other denizens of this strange world did not seem to hold her in very high regard.
  128. "It looks pretty nice to me, better than my house at least"
  129. >you stated with a slight tinge of embarassment, more on that later.
  130. >she walked toward the door, which was adorned with a symbol of unknown meaning, you would have to ask her about it sometime.
  131. >she turned the knob, opening the door, and you got your first look inside her humble abode.
  132. >it looked pretty nice, the walls and ceilings were a pleasant azure color, and the floor a nice shade of pink.
  133. >there were a few bookshelves here and there, but from what you've seen, you doubted you'd be able to read any of the books.
  134. >you also took notice of what looked to be a mirror to your right, though it did not reflect an image of the surrounding area, instead glowing in a mysterious purple.
  135. >you pondered it's purpose, but it was none of your business, for now
  136. >after all that time you had hardly paid attention to your bladder, but it suddenly became apparent
  137. "Uh, hey Bel, you got a bathroom around here?"
  138. >Beleth, who was fiddling with a few objects you hadn't taken notice of before, turned her head towards you
  139. "Huh? oh yeah, right to your left"
  140. >you walked towards the door, turned the knob, and then...
  141. >you were greeted by a most unwelcome visitor
  142. >you let out an undignified scream at the intruder, falling backwards in shock.
  143. >It looked to be some kind of rabbit, at least 7 feet tall
  144. >upon closer inspection you could deduce it was a female, going by it's curvaceous figure and long eyelashes upon her crimson eyes. you also took notice of a strange horn upon her head, and her peculiar arrangement of ears, six of them.
  145. >her mouth formed into a toothy grin as she looked upon you, doing little to assuage your fear.
  146. >"Hey! I never invited you!"
  147. >Beleth shouted before your new friend could do... whatever it was she had planned.
  148. >your feline companion landed right between the two of you, holding what looked to be... a stick horse?
  149. >"You have 5 seconds to fuck outta here before I make this painful, understand?"
  150. >she uttered those words with a fury you never imagined she could possess
  151. >from this vantage point you also had a rather neat view of her ass, but you would keep that to yourself
  152. >the leporid creature finally spoke, after letting out an infernal chuckle
  153. >"My my Beleth, I never took you for the romantic type. but anyways, I just dropped by to check out the new arrival, he's rather freaky looking, though I wouldn't mind a few minutes alone with him."
  154. >she said as she craned her neck towards you, eyes glowing with an aura that you found both terrifying and entrancing.
  155. >"You stay the fuck away from him you hear! the last thing he needs is a psychopath like you ripping his mind apart."
  156. >Beleth's teeth were bared in unbridled fury, you also noticed her claws were protracted, ready for attack.
  157. >She must have really hated this being, either that or she cared for you deeply, perhaps both.
  158. >the large rabbit creature finally moved, seemingly yielding to your companion
  159. >"Okay Vassal, I can take a hint, I know when I'm not wanted. But don't shed a tear if your friend decides he would prefer a more exciting experience.
  160. >she finished her speech as she arrived at the front door, and surreptitiously winked at you.
  161. >with that, she turned away and spread her wings, producing a strong gust of wind as she fled.
  162. >you wanted to know who that was, but you had an urgent matter to attend to
  163. >after that was dealt with, you inquired with Beleth.
  164. "So... who the fuck was that?"
  165. >"That would be Furfur, Commander of the blinds, though she likes to be known as Angel. She's such a pain, and a major creep, always popping up
