1. /ManualAddons
 2. Paste everything below this line into your script file
 3. Curse Client not working for you? <a href="text://
How to manually manage addons instead

Sadly, the legacy Curse Client is being phased out and TSW addons aren't quite working in the new one yet. Some do, some don't. So with that in mind, I ecided to make this script to help folks learn how to do manual add on installs. This requires some basic skills with copying files and such, and you will be working in folders where if you delete somehting, you may break another program so use care. If this makes you uncomfortable, you currently have few options. :/ That said, this isn't all that difficult.

Virtually all TSW addons go into a single folder. The usual process is to extraxct the files into this folder, or into a temporary one then move them in if you prefer. WHich folder depends on whether you're using Steam or not and whether you modofied the install path. If you modofied the path, I presume you can find the appropriate one based on this:

If you installed the game using the patcher downloaded direct from Funcom, the game should be installed in this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\The Secret World\

If you installed the game using Steam, however, the game should be installed in this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Secret World\

Inside whichever of those you have, you will find this path:

Data\Gui\Customized\Flash

This is where you will place any files the add-on comes with. Sometimes this means a SWF file ends up there then other files elsewhere and sometimes the SWF file ends up inside a subfolder. Each addon can be different. With this basic information, however, you should be able to manually copy files into the proper location once you've downloaded an addon and extracted the files. Read the instructions for each and you should be fine. :)

Script download: http://pastebin.com/u/Nilt">You might find manual installs aren't too difficult
