[17:24] With Sak'noth's attention, Senna quickly perked up. Moving to join the demonic being, his light reds lingering upon Marina for a moment.

Before setting off altogether!

"I believe we just need to finish the ring, I've been drawing a few different designs in my free time."

He had spent a good amount of time pondering the ring itself. He had already casted the band, but now he'd see the amber inlaid across its top.

"Is it wrong to say I've been excited to meet again? I've found that this is my calling.. doing this sort of work. Some people like to fight, but I like this stuff."

Science and research, crafting and forging- it was all exhilarating to the boy.

"So I'm more than ready!"

[17:29] With the situation of a servant resolved, they descended to Sak'noth's workshop - where both the ring frame and the other materials awaited them for the last stage of that confection.

As expected.

"Correct, adding more amber on your part and finally, the cursed gem and ether." The being made it clear, before continuing - "And anyone would have felt that, at least mortals, it's the end of a project.

The conclusion after so much work." He then prepared himself, the ground runes were activated.

So.. It was enough for the crafter to do his part of it, for him to do his.

"First, allocate the gems properly - when you are done, I'll do my part." So it would be a joint effort this time.

[17:40] Sak'noth's workshop proved to be more than efficient for this task, the construction of the ring. All the tools required, as well as an adequate forge. An experience that Senna wouldn't forget anytime soon.

"The end of the first of many projects to come, I hope."

A smile, before Senna set to work. A few of the amber gems taken, before being melted down in the same fashion as the mythril and orichalcum. He needed it to be in its purest form.

A golden-orangish substance, a liquid which he'd then utilize as an artist does with paint. A delicate process, perfect for Senna's nimble digits.

"Now I'll let the amber cool, then begin on my design. I intend to utilize the gems in a few different ways."

With the heated amber somewhat cooled, albeit not too cold, Senna began to decorate the band of the ring. The orangish substance carefully painting the top side of the band of the ring, creating what lookedlike miniature vines.

"Vines will be the base, with amber gems held on top of the vines, small versions of course. Think of the vines as pedestals, there to prop up the amber gems, as well as the acorn at the center of the band."

Using a small chisel to paint the amber vines on, branching off.. details added as he went. With the base finished, he set the ring down to cool.

"I will now create the amber gems."

Taking the rest of the amber, Senna brought it over the anvil, before beating at the gems with his hammer. The amber was broken up into several tiny, smaller pieces. After looking through the pile, he found the prettiest ones.

"These gems will line the sides of the band, laid atop the vines."

A nod, as he set to work, utilizing the soldering process he did prior. The gems each soldered onto the vines, lining the side of the ring's band.

The center, however, remained open, a pedestal for the demonic acorn.

"Now all that's left is to add the acorn, as well as polish it."

[17:47] The first of many indeed, Sak'noth certainly had a number of things planned - it was expected given what he represented! Change, that would only come through what he would do - so projects like this were important.

Small steps before big leaps.

"Your talent is demonstrated now, I wonder what you'll do once you gather more and more experience - adding you to projects will be really satisfying.

The outcome of what we will create surely changing many things." The being commented while the crafter worked.

Unfortunately the being was not a craftsman, but he could at least observe the process and then do his part - which was somewhat more distinctive and of his own. That is, the manipulation of his body and the ether, energy he had more than control over.

For he was an elemental of the ether, a being bathed in mana and power to control it.

Anyway, as the procedure was completed, the being already brought the Demonic Crystal Acorn to the ring - and certainly with Senna's help, it began to allocate the gem.. Slowly, carefully so as not to damage that bio jewel.

They could not afford to fail now.

"Slowly." The being spoke, producing mini tentacles from its palm for this task, as its size was too large for delicate things.

Certainly.

"Once this is over, we will imbue it with my ether." Said one last time.

[18:05] "Thank you, that means a lot truly."

To hear praise from Sak'noth, a demon who had proved its keen and sharp intellect- it was something that the budding craftsman appreciated.

His work was not for vain, but instead served to further a greater purpose. Not only that, but it served as vital experience for Senna, who was only at the start of his path as a scientist.

"But yes, I'll concentrate. Carefully."

With all the work being poured into the ring already, Senna didn't want to mess up this crucial step. The amber vines served as pedestals for the amber, but the divot at the center of the ring was for the Demonic Acorn to rest gently inside.

"I will use a bit of heat to solder the acorn in place."

For this step they were required to be next to the forge, the ring held nearby, but not over the open flame.

"There."

With the Acorn Gem placed inside the divot, Senna quickly directed heat with his mana to solder it in place. Ensuring that the crystal would not fall out, nor would it be easily taken.

"Whew." The boy was understandably somewhat stressed, but relieved all the same. It had fit as he planned, the dimensions working perfectly.

The Acorn Crystal being the centerpiece of the ring itself, at the top of the band, with amber gems on either side, as well as vines as decoration, beneath the crystals.

"It's ready for your final steps now, I think. Everything will hold, it's integrity has been fully preserved. It's wearable now even, but yeah."

It would likely be warm to the touch, but it would cool in time. "Whatever you plan to do next."

[18:12] The simplicity of the project would serve to understand the demon's capabilities, as it would progress with the corruption it caused - until he was stronger, until being able.. To devour Meranthe's own source of Mana, as that is his end goal.

Devour, change, and then - reign.

But those are thoughts for another time...

For now, focus.. And that they did it, with Senna's help the gem was allocated and then properly fixed on the frame! Something amazing and with that, this stage was coming to an end, but the work was not yet - there was still one more thing to be done...

By Sak'noth.

"Move away." He commanded, before placing the finished ring over the rune circle.

Once Senna was out of the way, the beast placed its hand over the top of the ring.. And it began! Ether flowed in loads, almost like water pouring out of a bucket.. And then it bathed the ring! The surrounding runes glowed in activation and slowly.. TheTwisted Nature received the ominous energy of the Lord of Change.

The work was long and could be exhausting, if he wasn't a demon.

But in the end, the object was totally imbued.. Emanating a putrid energy, just like that of the demonic beast - which now, happily tapped its beak, because.. It was done, they finally concluded the project! Before them was the ring, a piece and extension of the demon.

As well as.. The first step of many.

"What do you think, Senna." Asked the craftsman's opinion, lifting it towards the same.. In order for such to touch or test it, if desired, but not advised.

For now, that object was held and placed in his palm, exposed for those present, just the two of them in this case - to see the product of their efforts.

"It's hauntingly beautiful."

Genuine words, as Senna's gaze befell the finished product. From afar, having moved away from the runic circle when commanded. He wasn't going to risk anything.

Though he couldn't help but be transfixed by a creation of his own making, the craftmanship greater than what he thought himself capable of. While he had practiced on several different rings, part of him feared failure, feared that it would all be for naught.

But this?
This was a different feeling altogether, akin to absolution.

"Completion. All our work and planning coming to fruition in the ring. It's actually pretty awesome."

At his base Senna remained a boy still, but it was his childish curiosity that pushed him to these heights. That spurred both his creativity and his ingenuity, serving as fuel for his ever growing hunger for knowledge.

"I'm happy I could be part of it. But.. I won't wear it. It's better tested on someone else."

Given the intimate connection that Sak'noth had to the ring, as well as the ritual itself, Senna knew better than to touch the ring. In a way it was likely cursed, though perhaps altogether differently.

He'd not fall victim to his own creation.

"Is that all you require of me for the moment?" Senna asked inquisitively, his gaze levied upon Sak'noth now. "I do want to prove myself further, both you and Abendrot, but all will come in time."
