Here is my dilemma:
- Every single raid for when I've asked when subs get substituted instead of roster, the answer has been :45. On today's raid that was (after :45 prolonged to :55) and even after that rule was exempted to allow late people to join instead of subs.
- There was made a comment with one of the late players was "a healer we needed" which doesn't go well with my understanding of the fact that no1 has reserved slots (if all slots can be filled), and whoever signs up first gets the raidspot. I guess some people are above this?..
- I thought I had signed up for today's raid, but instead I've chosen another. But I was still ready at the invite time and ready to go.

So I don't see how I'm getting "punished"/not rewarded for what I would call a technicality, when in the same raid rules are being exempted.
Especially when you take into consideration this is not a hardcore raiding guild.
What is really the motive behind giving not players who want to raid EP? - When raiding you get far more EP + the chance of actually getting gear (which for most is the main reason they raid I guess).

And let my point out that I know my chances of getting into the raid were very slim, but still existed nonetheless. But for me its about the council (and the guild in general) being fair and not abusing their powers

And the latter is not because I want to accuse anyone specific for abusing, but it do begins to get a weird feeling when rules are bend for some and not all
But idk what the course of action should be from here? Will you go into a discussion where we can try to persuade each other. Or will you bring this up to a council meeting. Or some 3rd option?

dude if you didnt sign up for the last raid u cant get sub ep
and u only be invited
when all subs are in the raid wich wasnt the case
the comment about the healer needed its because bwl cant be done
with less than 8 healers!
we need at least 10 to do bwl
thats why we were waiting for the healer
theres nothing to discuss in a council meetng because the ''rules'' are already made and well structure
i still dont get it why u wanted to make storms when u werent a sub neither!
everyone who was sub get the ep
yesterday was a chaos to start the raid because of the orb
there was a queue wich we dont have that in months!

Okay. Let's take these arguments a bit more structured:
Lets start with the facts:
1) I have to raid-ready characters. DPS and Healer, so there was atleast 1 healer ready.
2) Rules are that subs get in at :45.
3) Rules were bent in first instance to allow people to come at :55
4) Rules were bent in second instance for a quote "last few" who didn't make it to :55 either.
5) There HAS been a queue prior to yesterdays raid --- When BWL released
6) No experienced WoW player would not say that they expected queue times at a sunday evening after a new content release. This is in no way non-normal server behaviour and thus cannot be discarded.
7) I had signed up for the 23rd Raid - believing it was yesterdays raid
8) I was online before raid started and made it clear I thought I was signed up.
9) I was online throughout the whole raidtime

Maybe you have a different view of these "facts", if so - I would like you to point out which so we have a common understanding of the situation.

After you have done this, we can discuss the actual situation:
I don't understand how there can be given leeway on the rules for some minor mistakes, and not for others. Yes, I signed up for the wrong raid, my mistake. And if we just blindly followed rules that would be okay. But when Officers just like yourself start empowering only some rules, or even worse, if it's because of the person(s) affected. Then it becomes a whole other issue. I indeed also calling being ~15minutes late because of queues for a minor mistake. But I in now way see how I should be double penalized for such a minor mistake.

And this is before taking into consideration what the "reward" actually is. But this is something i'm trying to let be out of scope, but willing to also take into the discussion if you seek that.

I didnt created the rules but i believe them and know they work for a system well structure and im not empowering nothing. You are just trying to get to the mass with something u dont have reason for

 tell me again why u think you are beeing penalized for??
Because you were the only one who made storm yesterday, neither the bench people complained about
and you werent sign for the raid in question
and u can get this into discussion with everyone, but just dont forget to say that you are making this buz only because i didnt reveived the 20 EP that u still say u deserve. Im repeating myself and for now on i wont reply to you. U have any question or doubts? talk to Lackluster or Deadscale because i honestly dont know what do you seek, i know i cant give you.
