Video Game Week 2019: Announcement and Schedule (LOTS OF CHANGES!)

It's that time of the year again!  Every June during E3 week, r/toonami hosts an annual event for video games and video game discussion.  We call it **Video Game Week** (VGW for short)!  For the past 5 years, we've held it primarily on the subreddit.  However, things will be changing.

I noticed during last year's VGW there was a sharp decline in discussion.  I completely understand that, because of our Discord server (and that most people post during Toonami on Saturday nights), most of it was relegated there.  So as a compromise, we'll keep at least a hub for discussions during E3 conferences and of course Throwback discussions on video games.

The hub thread will be the one stop shop for discussions, reactions and resources.  This is where all the links to conferences will be, as well as time(s) when conferences start, link to the server, community game nights, and Throwbacks.

**June 11h**

-Nintendo Direct - Noon Eastern, 11AM Central

-Nintendo Treehouse - Immediately following the Direct

**June 12th and 13th**

-Throwbacks and Waybacks!  I'll be writing one for the **Banjo Kazooie** series!

**June 14th**

-Post VGW discussion - tell us how we're doing!  Tell us how E3 was this year!

We'll also be celebrating the third anniversary of the r/Toonami server on Discord!  Even after VGW, make sure to head over for special events for active users and giveaways throughout the entire month of June!
