- dragon age gaim guide
- Dragon Age Origins
- -The Stone Prisoner is a DLC that primarily adds a new companion, I'd do it fairly early, you go to Honnleath to do it.
- -Return to Ostagar is a small story DLC, doesn't matter when in the story you do it.
- -Warden's Keep is a DLC that results in some new abilities and some merchants and storage, do it whenever, but not too late.
- -Golems of Amgarrak is a slightly larger DLC that is primarily a dungeon crawl and includes a very difficult boss, it is separate from the main story in that you import either your character or create a new one.
- -Leliana's Song is another larger DLC separate from the main game where you play as Leliana and get to see her past and whatnot.
- -The Darkspawn Chronicles is a "what-if" DLC where the player isn't around and you play as the bad guys during the game's climax, it's mostly just punching things.
- -Awakening is the next big thing, being a pretty substantial expansion pack, it takes place six months after Origins ends and you continue either as your character or create a new one.
- -Witch Hunt is the last chronologically and takes place somewhat after Awakening, and is again one where you either import or create a new character.
- -any other DLCs are just items and whatnot
- Dragon Age 2
- -The Exiled Prince is a companion DLC that includes several missions to do over the course of the game
- -The Black Emporium gives you access to a magic item store and also a doggo!!!
- -Legacy is probably the most important DLC plot-wise, and can be done at any time. I prefer doing it early for the new weapon it gives you but it probably works a little better if its done later.
- -Mark of the Assassin is another fairly large DLC campaign that brings you to a new setting and has a self-contained story that has a lot of fun moments.
- -There is also DLC for a bunch of items and a bunch of promotional items you can just straight-up download and install.
- Dragon Age Inquisition
- -Jaws of Hakkon is a fairly large DLC that adds a new open world area to be explored and a lot of quests, it can be done whenever.
- -The Descent is another dungeon crawl DLC but with some interesting story revelations, it can also be done whenever.
- -Trespasser is basically the game's epilogue and takes place after the end of the game.
- -There are also, again, a bunch of item packs and promotional items.
