  1. Things to worry about:
  2. OC Sirens
  3. At most, only two OC Sirens will be allowed.
  4. One OC Siren will more than likely have Tyreen's leeching ability
  5. As Siren powers don't seem solely based on one thing, this power can be further developed at this player's request, as more than likely this OC Siren will have spontaneously gotten her powers with no explanation
  6. One OC Siren will have more room to develop a power to their liking.
  7. This power should be dissimilar enough from the existing Siren powers, would require a more in-depth explaination to fix within the context of the Borderlands Universe.
  8. This Siren will keep their power, regardless of what comes from DLC/Lore/Etc, as it would be unfair to force them to change powers mid-plot
  9. Though Lilith's fate is unknown, whether she is dead or not, does not constitute enough of an excuse to have a 3rd OC Siren
  10. While alliances can be open to the OC Siren's choice, The OC with Tyreen's power will most likely be the target of the GQL (Plot 1). This does not mean they could hold loyalties to other corporations/groups/etc.
  11. OC Vault Hunters
  12. An In-Depth explanation of their character.
  13. This catagory for an OC leaves much open, however, a look over of critical character details would be required to ensure if this ability both makes sense in the universe, as well ensure balance.
  14. Character Archetypes from other Vault Hunters would not hinder someone from making a smiliar character (save for Sirens.).
  15. However, if attempting to make a character similar to another Vault Hunter (Mech User ala Moze, Beast Handler ala Fl4k, etc), the power should differentiate enough to make something more unique and flavorful.
  16. Characters from other universes would not be allowed. If the character is using a FC from another universe and simply only as a FC, then this would be fine. However, attempting to replicate a canon character from another universe in an attempt to use as an excuse will not be allowed.
  17. Canon Characters
  18. Characters that are dead in the lore will remain dead. (At the moment, I am considering Lilith 'dead' though that might not be her fate. Regardless, her position and ability are off-limits)
  19. Since Handsome Jack's fate is decided ultimately by Rhys's decision in TftB, the decision of the percentage from that game will decide what I do with that character
  20. Characters missing from the games can be accepted as canon, but a reasonable explanation of what they were doing, while not involved with the plot of BL3, must be given
  21. While interpretation is taken into account, they should not stray too heavily from how the character would act. (Yes, Moxxi is promiscuous, but there is another layer of character to her. Bad example, but Ava shouldn't be a dick-loving slut. Enough said)
  22. Spoilers
  23. Those that have not played BL3 to completion, or watched a walkthrough, will be spoiled.
  24. This is not to discourage people who are interested, but warnings will be implemented and is not the focus of attack should someone be spoiled of something critical to the game's plot
  25. Players will be encouraged not to use spoilers as an attack.
  26. If you sign on to be in on the room, you agree that you are ok with spoilers.
  27. If you pass by while reading the room, and complain to any players/admins about being spoiled, you will be blocked
  28. Should any drama arise from being spoiled, it will be dealt with accordingly.
  29. Plot
  30. Participation
  31. Characters will not be bound too heavily to posting time frames. However, should a current scene be dropped and not intended on being picked back up, it will be concluded.
  32. Should a character (canon or OC) disappear without warning for a large period of time, that character will be dropped for favor of someone who may be more interested.
  33. The OC Sirens, if they are dropped, will have their powers shift to a new character, which can be worked into a plot. Tyreen's power will simply shift to a new host. OC True will do something similar, and depending on the power made, the option the new OC True obtains. (If OC True wants a new power, the same rules apply when making OC True)
  34. Deviance from plot
  35. Deviance from the plot is encouraged.
  36. Characters should feel free to have problems that need conclusions, and issues that need to be resolved
  37. Main plot point will remain as the path for the room, and serve as the setting for what I determine is a good Post-BL3 experience
  38. Villains
  39. Players interested in making antagonists will be not be discouraged.
  40. The importance to the plot will be discussed before they develop their characters too deeply.
  41. Villains dropped due to lack of participation will be replaced, or controlled as an NPC as needed
  42. Fighting (Player vs Player, Player vs NPC)
  43. New-U stations are confirmed as non-canon. So unless it is shit-posty or OOC shenanigans, death will mean death
  44. With that being said, the fate of the character will be decided before a fight and its relevance to the plot
  45. Death will not be forced against indecisive players, however, should neither wish to do so, will have some form of intervention.
  46. Anyone willing to go against this will be dealt with accordingly.
  47. Players fighting are not expected to adhere to any one system (T1, Dice, whatever).
  48. Some decisions will be made by an admin in the background, such as shifts in battle which could draw players to a plot point or set piece
  49. Characters will be expected to take damage. Players should be willing to let their characters be hurt.
  50. Again, death will be discussed, mortally wounded is also on that account. However, should a player continue to make their character an invincible warrior of death with not a single blow ever landed, it will be dealt with.
  51. Smut
  52. Not in Main
  53. Keep it in DM's
  54. Drama
  55. If there is drama in main, it will be moved to DMs.
  56. If it is swiftly not removed to DM's, it will be a simple ban for both parties, where it will be forced into DM's
  57. It will simply not be tolerated. If past drama becomes a problem between two players, they can either choose to keep it to themselves or leave.
  58. Literacy/Auditions
  59. A word count for posts will not be enforced.
  60. This is not an excuse to be purposefully lazy.
  61. A Google Doc/Pastebin application may be created
  62. This is for two purposes:
  63. An ability to see the passion behind a character, and the interest the player has in making them
  64. An archive for their character information, in case they don't wish to make an overly complicated profile
  65. Canon characters will also be subjected to this application process
  66. While most info is up for speculation, and can more than likely pulled up on a wiki, what this aims to accomplish is that the person wanting this character does their research to understand the character better, and the audition is simply to show that this knowledge is used properly.
  67. Anyone who had the canon name prior and wanting to use it for the purposes for the RP, will be asked to make an application
  68. Mostly for commitment purposes.
  69. Anyone who has a Borderlands OC, and wants to use them for the purposes of the RP, will be asked to make an application, regardless of any previous room's decision
  70. Again, for commitment, and archival purposes
  71. Application will not be overly taxing, nor extremely nitpicky. Though it is expected to be filled out in its entirety
  72. Anyone who has RPed with any admin in the past, will need to fill an application, regardless of prior history.
  73. Applications will be made for every potential character (Canon, OC’s, OC Siren)
