[15:58] <Marshal> [After passing through the first gate, you angle the car up and pull above the clouds and into the inky blackness of the Medium. Angling up towards the blue sphere that is Skaia.]

[16:01] <Marshal> [You glance over at Mary, then back to make sure you're heading in the right direction. You're not going to need a lot of attention to drive. "So, we're headed to Prospit. One of two kingdoms that are at war and are the uh...good guys I guess."]
[16:02] <Mary> 3["That name sounds weird, what's the other kingdoms name?"]
[16:03] <Marshal> ["Derse. Session's normally split evenly between people who dream on Prospit and those who dream on Derse. We're all on the same side though, with the same objective." Nudging the direction a little to the right.]
[16:06] <Mary> 3["Prooossssppppiiiitttt. Deeeerrrrsssssse. Alright so they are basically fighting each other for the honor of who gets to do the thing they both want to do anyways?"]
[16:07] <Marshal> ["Not quite. Prospit wants to protect Skaia, which is the blue thing we're headed to. Derse wants to destroy it in whats called the Reckoning. And, well, barring something weird, Derse will always be able to start the Reckoning."]
[16:08] <Mary> 3["Oh, is that what that giant blue ocean orb is?"]
[16:09] <Mary> 3[You try to adjust to get a better look at it, doesn't look like you can get a good view though]
[16:09] <Marshal> [You nod. "Theres some water, but its mostly a giant checkerboard pattern. Theres a strong chess theme. The Reckoning starts when the Derse King defeats the Prospitian King. Once it starts, the players have twenty four hours before the Reckoning ends and they've failed the session."]
[16:10] <Mary> 3["And if we fail the session?"]
[16:11] <Marshal> ["Generally, well, people end up dying try to succeed. If you fail and survive, the door won't appear, and you're stuck until the session collapses."]
[16:13] <Mary> 3["And when the session collapses?"]
[16:15] <Marshal> ["No one knows for sure, but its nothing good." Prospit's visible now, circling Skaia, and you shift to aim at it. "Theres Prospit. Derse is in the other direction, as far from Skaia as you can get while still being in the session."]
[16:15] <Mary> 3["Oh, is that...is that a giant gold planet?"]
[16:16] <Marshal> ["Thats it. We're going to meet a...familiar face I guess you can say."]
[16:17] <Mary> 3["Is Tori going to be there?" you turn and give him a smile]
[16:20] <Marshal> [You shake your head. "She isn't in the session yet. No, he's....well, you'll see soon enough I guess."]
[16:20] <Mary> 3["Oh" slump back into your chair]
[16:21] <Marshal> [You reach over and squeeze her shoulder. "You'll meet her soon, I promise."]
[16:22] <Mary> 3[Nod, looking back to Prospit, wondering who you're going to meet, suddenly light up "Are we going to the tattoo parlor?!"]
[16:24] <Marshal> ["Wait, what?" You suddenly have to concentrate on flying now, with several gold shuttles flying around as you arrive. Shifting to fly at the moon of Prospit.]
[16:25] <Mary> 3["The tattoo parlor"]
[16:26] <Marshal> ["...why would we go to the tattoo parlor if we're going to meet someone you know?"]
[16:26] <Mary> 3["I may know the tattoo parlor person through virtual osmosis and subliminal messages"]
[16:28] <Marshal> ["Not yet, but I guess if you really want to learn them, you could." You drive along the chain and head towards one of the towers.]
[16:30] <@Scott> [You're sitting there, in your gold pyjamas, staring into the clouds at the moment. However, you turn to look at the car when you hear the slightly different sound from it. Your face confused. Where'd a flying car come from?]
[16:38] <Mary> 3[The Spanish inquisition probably]
[16:42] <Marshal> [You point out your youngerself on the roof of the tower. "There." You park on top of the tower and turn the car off.]
[16:43] <Mary> 3[You squint "Who's that?"]
[16:43] <Marshal> ["Lets go and meet him then." You're sounding just a little amused.]
[16:44] <@Scott> [You slowly get up and walk over to the car, still confused.]
[16:47] <Mary> 3[You pull open the door, getting out to get a better look at the person who you're apparently meeting, he looks familiar for sure]
[16:48] <Marshal> [You get out after her, looking over the top of the car. This ought to be interesting.]
[16:49] <@Scott> [You recognize her. Zeimah did send you photos of her costume. "...Mary?" You ask, cautiously. Wondering if you've gone mad.]
[16:51] <Mary> 3["Wait? Is that Scott? I mean young you Scott, no wait young you dad named Scott?" you wonder if you need the poking stick]
[16:53] <@Scott> [You nod. "Yyyyeah." You only now realize theres someone else here, and you look over at your older self. You point you finger at him, open your mouth to speak then close it, pointing back at Mary.]
[16:53] <Marshal> [You smile and wave at him.]
[16:54] <Mary> 3[You take out the poking stick, slightly prodding the hand sticking out]
[16:56] <@Scott> [You tolerate it for a minute before lowering your hand. "...where the hell did you come from?"]
[16:58] <Marshal> ["Oh, us? We entered. Went well enough. Thanks for asking."]
[17:00] <Mary> 3["We came from the flying car"]
[17:02] <@Scott> ["Yes, but...how? I thought..." You don't actually know what you expected. You certainly didn't expect to meet Mary quite this early. "How did you enter, where did you come from?"]

[17:03] <Marshal> ["Yup."]

You walk around the car and hand over dozens of cards that are filled with all the things Scott was carrying when he died. Standing beside him, the similarities and differences are made readily apparent. You're the same height and build. But you've got grey in your hair and a few more lines on your face.]
[17:07] <Mary> 3[You get a better look at them next to each other, eyes darting between them trying to memorize it "I honestly was expecting you to be a bit older in retrospect, still sooooo old though"]
[17:07] <@Scott> [You take the cards, quickly shuffeling through them. "This is...it's all the stuff I had on me when..." Theres a moment of dawning realization and meet his gaze. "It was you that revived me?"]
[17:09] <Marshal> ["Yup!" You respond, pleased. You turn to Mary, and roll your eyes. "Alright, I need to go make a deal. Mary, you think you can stand being with him for a while?"]
[17:10] <@Scott> ["Hey, don't I get a say in this?" You ask, not really as indignant as you make yourself out to be.]
[17:10] <Mary> 3[You poke him with the stick "Nope"]
[17:12] <Marshal> ["Nope!" You agree. "Sit down and meet her properly. I'll be back...later." You head back to the driver's side. "Love you Mary. Keep safe."]

[17:15] <Marshal> [You smile, then climb in. And with a hum, you're heading back to the Land of Tundra and Towers.]

[17:26] <Mary> 3["Yup, and now you get awesome people like me to be in session with, don't worry, the shock will subside eventually" you do a mock bow]
[17:27] <@Scott> [You laugh again. "Have you been talking to Rigel? You remind me of him."]
[17:30] <Mary> 3["I've talked to him a bit, but I figure the best way for this conversation to happen would be to be relaxed and make jokes"]
[17:31] <@Scott> ["Well. I guess its working." You sit back down, leaning back, propping yourself up with your arms. "So...this is your first session then?"[

[17:52] <Mary> 3["Well, I have a big love for aquatic things, like getting out and exploring so we went on some really awesome vacations, I have a pretty good memory and have been said to look a bit creepy trying to intently taking in some things" you pause to think "I made some friends and had a pretty...mixed reputation at school"]
[17:53] <Mary> 3["I studied to become a marine biologist and had a large amount of so so friends and a few really good ones"]
[17:53] <@Scott> [You nod. "Doing better than I did in that I guess."]

[17:55] <@Scott> ["Didn't really have any friends coming into the game except for those that I had online. Being in the middle of the mountains kind of does that to you."]
